Jean.

Boris' Point Of View

What greeted my eyes was a white ceiling as I opened them. Immediately, I could feel the pain from my legs and tried to move them, which led to more pain, nearly making me scream, but of course i didn't scream, because I was a man.

I looked around and saw that i was in a bed and both of my legs were covered in plasters. The room was a boring white, nothing interesting, just your regular hospital room.

I sighed and closed my eyes again, feeling sleepy because of the lack of energy, I again fell asleep.

A Few Hours Later

I woke up to the sound of two people talking, two females in particular.

What greeted my eyes was the same plain white ceiling as before, but now, instead of being empty, the room now had two more people in it, both standing beside my bed.

"Oh, it seems he is awake, I am glad he is in a good condition." Came a familiar voice.

I found that beside my bed were two women, one of which I recognized, a tall, blonde woman who carried an air of elegance and djscipline, who was quite beautiful too, Jean.

"Master Jean?...." I said, still sleepy.

Jean smiled and placed her hand on her chest, "It is relieving to see that you are awake, Boris. I, The Acting Grand Master, Jean, apologize on the behalf of Eula and her actions. I am extremely sorry for what happened to you because of her, I have suspended Eula from her duty for the next 6 months, but i still feel it is not enough of a punishment for what she did to you, so, Boris, ask for anything you want and i shall give it to you, whether it is Mora or any other resource or item, as long as it is within my reach, of course. Once again, we, the Knights, are extremely apologetic to you and the Fatui for the reckless actions of one our own. Thank Barbatos that you weren't injured permanently, had someone as young and talented as you would have suffered permanent injuries, It would be extremely unfortunate. So, Young Boris-" Jean's eyes had a embarrassed and apologetic look, she bowed down and lowered her head in shame, ready to apologize again.

I smiled and shook my hand in front of her, "No need to apologize again, Master Jean. Seeing that you care so much about a mere Snezhnayan boy like me truly makes me feel honoured. As for my injuries....." I trailed off, looking at my legs and then at the other woman who was dressed in the standard Fatui Nurse uniform.

The nurse crossed her arms and looked at Jean, "Although nothing serious has happened to you that may effect your life, you will be unable to use your legs for quite some time as they have suffered alot of injuries, had it not been for your strong constitution and your training, you would've become disabled permanently. Alas, Her Majesty always looks after her people, perhaps she was the one responsible for you surviving the fall, had you landed on your back and head, I am afraid we wouldn't be talking right noe." She said while looking at Jean.

Jean's face turned even more apologetic and was about to apologize again when I held her hand with my outstretched one and signalled her to stay quiet and looked at the nurse, "How long will it take for me to start training again?"

The nurse's face turned sour and jealousy could be seen in her eyes upon seeing me hold Jean's hand, "5 Weeks atleast before you can start running again, and 7 weeks before you can start fighting and training again. Your hands and hips have also suffered damage, although not as much as legs, but they are still not something that should be overlooked. The only reason you can lift your arm now is because of the pain killers we gave you, otherwise you would be screaming out in pain right now, perhaps the pain numbing pills of Sumeru really are that great."

"7 Weeks?!" I yelled and moved forward and immediately regretted it as a sharp pain jolted through my hips and back and i fell back, grunting in pain.

The nurse sighed, "It doesn't completely numb all pain now, you will still feel some pain and alot if you move your legs."

Jean immediately placed her hand on my shoulder, grasping it gently and she clasped my hand with her other hand gently, "Once again, I am extremely sorry for what happened to you. Make sure you recover quickly and not do anything risky or reckless, I will visit you regularly." She said.

The Nurse's face scrunched in jealousy.

I laughed sheepishly and waved Jean off, "You are far too kind, Master Jean. There is no need for that-" I said.

Jean and shook her head and said, "No, it is only logical for me to visit you regularly when you are in this condition because of one of our own soldiers. Here, have these flowers, I hope they are to your liking." She pulled a big bouqet of Dandelions and handed it to me.

I grabbed the bouqet and smelled the flowers, instantly feeling the fresh scent coming from it.

"I picked them out from my garden, I hope you like them." Said Jean.

I nodded and placed the bouqet on the table beside the desk.

Jean smiled and stood up straight and nodded before turning around and leaving, "Farewell, Boris."

With her gone, I looked at the bouqet and then looked at the nurse, "I am hungry, bring me food." I ordered.

The nurse grumbled before leaving to get me my breakfast.
