Second Phase

Aether looked at the screaming Decarabian and sighed. He raised his hand and Decarabian flew towards him.

He grabbed his neck and started choking him. Decarabian tried to release himself but Aether's grip was quickly overpowering him and making him lose his breath.

"I'll make sure you die for good." Aether grinned sadistically. Green energy flowed from Decarabian's body to Aether's hand that was choking him.

" No.... please. Don't kill me like they did..... " Decarabian pleaded weakly. His eyes and face were losing color quickly. Aether frowned.

"I'm sorry. You simply chose the side. At least your soul will still live with mine. " Aether apologized. Decarabian coughed.

" Amos..... Where are you....." Decarabian muttered. Aether gritted his teeth even more.

" I'm sorry, Decarabian." Aether apologized as Decarabian's body stopped moving. His head leaned back and he stared at the night sky lifelessly.

Aether carried the corpse of the deceased God of Storms and laid him on the ground. He used his Geo Element and dug a grave for him.

After burying Decarabian and creating some golden rocks to decorate the grave. He left the scene.

"Damn. Now that I have his memories, Decarabian lived a pretty sad life. He thought that his people loved him but they didn't. His lover Amos betrayed him because he didn't love her the right way. And he got killed by his people because he wanted to protect them from Andrius who at that time, was at war with him. And all this because he couldn't understand human emotion. " Aether pondered while frowning.

" His powers enable me to create storms. He's like Guizhong in a sense. Born with multiple elements mixed into one. That's how he has the Storm Element. Guizhong had the Dust element." Aether raised his hand and held it in front of him.

A small grey tornado was created on his

palm. It was spinning violently. Aether stared at it for a while and looked back at the enormous crater his 'God Killer' created.

"Should I seal that place off with my the Storm element so that no one will ever visit there? It's destroyed anyways so I don't see the point of doing that." Aether muttered.

" I have two elements belonging to two Gods. I got the Dendro element early by absorbing Rukhadevata's soul. I also have a powerful variation of the Anemo Element by absorbing Decarabian's soul. " Aether started walking. His back was facing the enormous crater.

*RUMBLE!!!!!! RUMBLE!!!!!!*

From the crater, a thick, tall and giant tree sprouted violently from the ground. It reached out to the clouds, it was even taller than them. Aether smirked.

"It's really powerful. " He muttered and disappeared from the scene.

He appeared in the throne room. Asmoday was sitting on the throne sipping some wine from a wine bottle.

"Is he dead, Outlander?" Asmoday asked him. Aether put his palm on top of his chest. And it was directly above where his heart was located.

" He's merged with my soul now. " Aether told her grimly. Asmoday sighed.

" Good job. Now let's have some rest. Tomorrow you'll go back. You helped us a lot. Thank you, Outlander. " Asmoday floated from her throne and flew towards him.

She cupped his face and gave him a long passionate kiss.

Aether wrapped her arms around her waist and deepened the kiss. After some time,both of them released the kiss to catch their breath.

" My sister would kill me if she saw what position we're in. " Aether commented with a chuckle. Asmoday smirked.

" Good thing she's not here." Asmoday replied. Aether smiled a little.

" Maybe I should be fighting Seraphim with you." Aether told her. Asmoday raised her eyebrow and looked at him curiously.

" I'm giving you a chance to go back down there. And you want to stay here?" Aether looked around uncomfortably.

" I have a gut feeling that something is going to go wrong. " Aether told her. Asmoday looked at him for a while and sighed. She laid her head on his chest.

"Fine. You can stay and witness our fight. You will not intervene unless I tell you to. It is our fight. " Asmoday ordered. Aether smiled and nodded.

"Thank you, princess. This means a lot." Aether kissed her again which she gladly accepted it.

Some time later, they were on top of the rooftops looking at the moon.

"Asmoday, do you know who the Moon Sisters are?" He asked her. Asmoday smiled sadly.

"Yes. I do. That moon is one of the sisters corpses. The other two crumbled away. How do you know who they are? " Asmoday looked at Aether.

" That was regarded as a fairytale in Teyvat. But to Guizhong, it was in real life. " Aether answered calmly. Asmoday nodded.

"I have to go now. I still need to say one last goodbye to Guizhong and the others." Aether told her. Asmoday nodded and kissed him on the lips.

"Go on. Meet me at the throne room tomorrow. " Asmoday told him and disappeared in front of him. Aether smiled and closed his eyes. He opened them again and he was in front of the entrance to The Sanctuary.

He entered it and looked around to see it was dark. No one was home, he could sense it. "Guess they're still busy. Whatever. I'll go have one last sleep here. " Aether muttered and went to his bedroom.

He slept.

The next morning, Aether woke up and to his shock, no one was home. " Damn. Where did they go? " He muttered and exited the Sanctuary.

He appeared in the middle of the throne room where he saw that Asmoday was not there.

"Did they leave without me?" Aether grumbled. Something caught his eye.

"What's this?" He picked up a piece of paper that was stuck to the wall.

'Meet us at God Valley. We're already there. Sorry for not waking you up. Seraphim has already revealed herself. You can come to witness the fight or you can just wait there. But I know which action you'll choose.

Aether read the short message written by Asmoday. He burned it and disappeared from the throne room in an instant.

Aether appeared in God Valley. He was standing on the rapidly flowing river. He looked around.

"Where are they—ARGH!!!!
