Resistance

"What is this?" A pink haired woman muttered to herself. She was reading a newspaper one of the shrine maidens handed her.

'Archon War Revived? Is the Raiden Shogun dead? Who is the God Of Destruction? Is he an ally or an enemy? Is he a part of the Watatsumi Rebellion?

Yesterday morning, Kamisato Ayaka and her friend, Thoma were tied up in front of the Statue of the Omnipresent God and were about to get their Visions confiscated by the Raiden Shogun herself.

But out of nowhere, a golden haired man swiped the visions away and handed them back to their rightful owners. Witnesses claim that he took down the guards without even batting an eye towards them.

He freed the chained up Vision holders and told them to run away from the upcoming fight between him and the Shogun.

While they were in the middle of fighting, the God Of Destruction declared war against Raiden Shogun and her army.

The fight continued, the crowd was trapped into the barrier and witnessed the Raiden Shogun defeated by the God Of Destruction. The Statue of the Omnipresent God and the Tenshukaku Palace were destroyed in the process.

The Raiden Shogun was sealed off by a mysterious golden barrier while Kujou Sara, Clan Head of the Kujou Clan and General of the Shogun's Army was found unconscious beside the barrier.

We do not know the whereabouts of the God Of Destruction at this time, but we guess that he is on his way to the Watatsumi Resistance Camp.

All citizens of Narukami Island are ordered to stay in their homes and don't go out. Stay safe and may the Raiden Shogun protect us from the shadows.

"Oh Ei.... What have you done now?" Yae Miko frowned. She put down the newspaper and got up. She disappeared and reappeared in the grounds of a destroyed Tenshukaku Palace.

"Lady Yae!" A soldier ran over and bowed to her.

"Where is she?" Yae Miko asked him. The soldier pointed towards a golden barrier. Miko walked up towards it.

"That golden fire has been burning since yesterday. We can't put it out." The soldier reported. Miko hummed. She raised her hand and purple lightning crackled around it. Her fingers came closer to the barrier.

" No Lady Yae don't—

*BAAANG!!!*

Yae Miko widened her eyes as she was blasted back by a mysterious force. She crashed into the walls of Tenshukaku Palace.

"Ugghh...." Yae Miko grunted and got up. The soldier ran over.

"Are you alright, Lady Yae?!" He asked in concern. Yae Miko smiled a little.

"I'm feeling better than ever. Do you see signs of her breaking out of the barrier?" Yae Miko asked him. The soldier shook his head.

"Unfortunately, no. We suspect she might be unconscious. " The soldier reported with a grim face.

'Ei, unconscious? This is impossible.' Yae Miko thought to herself. She looked at the golden barrier and looked at the soldier again.

" What of Kujou Sara? " Yae Miko asked him.

" She is fine, Lady Yae. No cuts or bruises. She is back in the front lines already." The soldier reported. Yae Miko nodded. She disappeared without saying anything else.

"Ayaka. Are you alright?" Aether asked as they were in the forest training again. Ayaka frowned.

"I read the newspaper today. Did you actually declare war? " Ayaka asked him. Aether nodded without saying anything.

" Are you.... going to the resistance camp near Nazuchi Beach? " She continued. Aether nodded.

" Your brother told me that they're fighting for territory there. I'll go turn the tides when I get there. " Aether answered. When Ayaka was about to ask him another question, Aether stopped her by raising his hand.

" Is that smoke? " Aether pointed to the sky. Ayaka looked at where he was looking. She widened her eyes.

" That direction the smoke is coming from. No they didn't..... " Ayaka disappeared with Aether following her.

They arrived back at the Kamisato Estate. Ayaka looked in front of her and gasped in horror.

In front of her, the Kamisato Estate was up in flames. Every part of the building was burning.

"Burn the traitors!!" Ayaka looked at the soldiers who were throwing molotov cocktails at the estate.

Ayaka growled. The ground around her rumbled violently and started to crack open. The soldiers looked at the ground confused.

Ayaka unsheathed Enma and Ame No Habakiri. She screamed in rage. Her grey eyes have tears threatening to flow out of her eyes.

"I'LL KILL YOU!!!!" Ayaka screamed and disappeared. Two heads were cut off instantly. Ayaka decapitated head after head, all while screaming bloody murder.

Aether appeared at the scene and was shocked. 'Miss Kamisato is going to kill me. ' Aether thought to himself. He walked towards Ayaka who was standing in the middle of a sea of dead soldiers she killed.

"Ayato and Thoma are still inside. I can save them." Aether revealed and held out his palm to the inferno. All of a sudden, the inferno was pulled towards his palm.

Aether absorbed the fire to his palm. He had a ball of fire. He then faced Inazuma City and faced his palm towards it.

The ball of fire suddenly became golden fire and Aether fired it towards the City. The ball disappeared when it went towards Tenshukaku Palace.

*BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANGGGGGGGG!!!!!*

The palace blew up into oblivion. Aether looked back at the Kamisato Estate. Ayaka ran into it first. Aether followed her.

"Ayato!! Where are you!!" Ayaka shouted with a panicking voice.

"He's right in there!" Aether pointed towards the door to the living room. Ayaka hastily slid open the door and ran inside.

"Ayato! Oh God! Are you okay?!" Ayaka knelt beside Ayato who grunting while trying to get up.

"I need fresh air...." Ayato muttered with a hoarse voice.

"Come on! It's safe now!" Ayaka picked Ayato up and they walked out slowly together. Aether slid open another sliding door and found Thoma coughing while sitting against wall.

"Bro, you okay bro?" Aether knelt beside him and put his palm on his chest. A glow covered Thoma's chest.

Aether pulled his hand back. Thoma looked at him and smiled.

"Never better Aether." Thoma answered. Aether smiled back.

"They have no mercy.... What did we do to deserve this?" Thoma asked Aether. Aether shook his head.

"Nothing, you did nothing. You were a victim of the Shogun's selfishness. You guys can't stay here any longer. They'll come back to check. I'm sure they will." Aether pulled Thoma up with his hand.

"Pack up everything. I can see that the fire hasn't burnt the inside of the house. Pack up food, clothes and take every weapon. We're leaving this place in an instant. These guys can help you as well. " Aether pointed to his clones who appeared while he was talking to Thoma.

"And make it quick, I sense soldiers heading towards where we are. Tell Ayaka and Ayato about it as well. Go! Thoma! Go!"

" Yes Lord Shiva!
