Preparations

"Everyday, we get a lot of scrolls. Those messages are commissions for us to complete. " Bosacius explained.

" Who sends you guys these scrolls?" Aether asked.

"The Angels of Celestia does. They're the servants of the Heavenly Principles. They send us the scrolls because we Gods are the only people who have power to complete these missions. " Guizhong answered while drinking some hot green tea from a round cup.

"But aren't there normal people who have visions? Can't they do those missions?" Aether asked feeling a bit confused.

"A good argument but these missions that the Angels give us are what mortals call 'suicide missions'. As such, no one except for us do those kind of missions. " Guizhong answered patiently. Aether nodded.

" Can everyone do these missions? " Aether asked.

"Yes. Missions sent by the Angels of Celestia consist of thousands of varieties. They can range from picking berries to killing rogue Gods that want to rebel against Celestia. "Guizhong told him.

" Do these rogue Gods have a reason to rebel against Celestia? " Aether asked changing the topic skillfully.

" They mostly rebel because they think that she is a monster and Celestia is an abomination of what heaven is supposed to be." Guizhong explained.

" Subtle comment about Kiana." Aether thought to himself.

"Why? Just because the Archons destroyed Khean'riah doesn't mean that Celestia is in the wrong here. " Aether argued. Guizhong nodded.

" Khean'riah was destroyed because they wanted to rule the world by pure bloodshed with their abominations as the rulers. They wanted to change the world in a very bad way. Celestia and the Archons would not let that happen in front of them. So they went on the offensive. Much was erased about the destruction of the godless country. But the only thing that remained of it was the abominations it created. " Bosacius explained. Aether remained silent.

" We do not want to force you into this. The choice is yours, mortal. Choose wisely. " Menogias added. Aether looked at him weirdly.

" Is this my initiation into a cult? Do I have to cut open my palm and sacrifice my blood to the Gods?" Aether asked him. Bonanus giggled.

"Silly little Aether. We're just asking you if you want to do these missions. It's not a cult by any means." Bonanus replied to him.

"The mortals that ascended to Celestia worship us crazily, maybe they are the ones that are in a cult. " Bosacius joked. Aether smiled and shook his head.

" I'm dead, might as well find something fun to do while I'm still in heaven. " Aether muttered to himself.

" It sounds like you're planning to return to Teyvat, Aether. " Indarias spoke. Aether looked at her.

" So what if I am? My time is not up yet. I still have a lot of things to do down there. " Aether replied to her. Guizhong looked at him.

" It is completely impossible to revive yourself. If you spoke about this in public, they'll treat you like a mental health patient forever. " Guizhong told him. Aether didn't falter.

" I'm known to make the impossible possible. " Aether told her. Guizhong smiled at him.

" If you do find a way, please stay longer in Celestia. Time literally doesn't exist here. There is only the day and night cycle. " Guizhong asked him.

" I'll consider it. But please Lady Guizhong, tell me about my first mission. We're getting really off track here. " Aether brought them back to the main point. Guizhong rolled a brown scroll in front of him.

" Read it, Aether." Guizhong told him. Aether took the brown scroll and unrolled it. He read the words that were written on it.

" At the outskirts of God Valley, north of Old Pyro. There lies a demon camp— Wait! " Aether read it again.

" There's demons here in Celestia? " Aether looked back at Guizhong and asked her.

" There is? " Indarias asked in confusion. Guizhong narrowed her eyes and thought for a while.

" Strange.... " Bosacius muttered and raised his hand.

" Mother, may I tag along with Aether? I wish to investigate these 'demons' written in the scroll." Bosacius asked for permission. Guizhong nodded granting permission to him.

" Go with him, Bosacius. This new development in Celestia is very suspicious. I also need to go report to one of the Angels myself. " Guizhong told them and stood up. Indarias raised her own hand.

" Please eat your lunch first. You don't want to go out there with an empty stomach do you? " Indarias asked them. Aether, Bosacius and Guizhong sat down hastily and picked up their chopsticks again.

They ate in pure silence.....

After finishing the heavenly dinner, Aether and Bosacius said their thanks to Indarias again and went out of the dining room.

"C'mon Aether, follow me. Obviously you are very new to the terrain of Celestia. So I will give you this. " Bosacius took a folded piece of paper from his pouch that was strapped at the side of his waist. He gave it to Aether who unfolded it and looked at it.

"A map. This will be very useful for me. Thank you for this, Bosacius." Aether thanked the four handed Yaksha gratefully. Bosacius smiled and patted him on his back.

"Look through it for a while. I need to head back to my room to grab some things for our journey." Bosacius told him. Aether nodded.

Bosacius walked away and walked up to the stairs and went in to his room.

Aether looked back at the map. He found it very interesting to see that Celestia has its own set of villages and major cities as well.

"Heavenly Palace.... Kiana definitely lives there. Someday I'm going to pay her a visit. " Aether muttered to himself. He continued to look over the map and found where God Valley and the abode he was living in was located. The abode's name was Sanctuary Of Gods.

"God Valley and Forbidden City. There's a city? I'm so interested, excited and so confused at the same time. " Aether smiled to himself. Bosacius walked back and stood right beside him.

"Having fun?" Bosacius asked him. Aether nodded.

"We have a city here?" Aether asked him.

"Yes we do. I'll take you there after this mission. " Bosacius replied to him.

"What did you grab? I don't see anything new on your hands." Aether commented.

"Ah. You'll see. Let's go down the mountain. I trust that you found where God Valley is? " Bosacius asked while opening the door that led them outside the palace.

" I did. You guys have funny names for places. One of them was Old Town Boring. And the other was Wold Gate." Aether told him.

" Oh, Old Town Boring? That place isn't as boring as you think it is. It's crazy in there. The amount of strange stuff in there is normal to the residents that live there. " Bosacius shuddered at the memory of Old Town Boring.

" Definitely Ohio. " Aether thought to himself.

" We're at the edge. " Bosacius stopped and looked down the tall mountain. Aether looked down at the mountain with him and whistled.

" We're definitely jumping down this...
