Mondstadt Pt.2

Amber dragged me to the big Barbatos Statue.

"Alright! We're here! " Amber said not letting go of my hand.

"I'm not going to say anything yet. I'm just going to enjoy this moment." Aether thought listening to Amber explain about how to use the glider.

"Then when you jump of a high place, you can stretch out your hands. Do not put your hands down as the glider will immediately disappear." Amber warned and looked at me seriously.

"It's funny how she hasn't let go of my hand while explaining it to me. Is she doing this purposely or something? Ehh whatever just enjoy this Aether." Aether said subtly changing to the intertwining hand holding position.

It was a fucking risky move and Aether fucking knows it. But luckily it worked or that vow Amber took will come true.

"Dodged and arrow there. Literally." Aether thought. Amber kept on explaining on what to do and what not to do while gliding.

"And that's pretty much it. Do you want to try it out now?" Amber asked excitedly.

"Why do you look so excited Amber? You wanna see me fall to my death or something?" Aether asked raising an eyebrow.

"N-no I'm not excited about that! I just want to see your face when you experience the feeling of gliding! You'll get the meaning once you try." Amber denied and explained herself.

"Oh so you just want to see my handsome and cute face is it?" Aether got closer and wiggled his eyebrows.

"W-what! No! It's not that! Can you s-stop teasing me already." Amber said looking down blushing.

"I won't until you say I'm handsome and cute." Aether smirked and Amber pouted.

"Archon. I can't get enough of this. " Aether Aether thought.

"Why are you still here! I thought you wanted to glide?" Amber asked confused.

"Uhhhh." Aether looked down and Amber followed where he was looking. Their hands were intertwined, thanks to Aether.

"Wow Amber. Didn't know you were this bold. Didn't know I was that bold either. I wonder how our hands were intertwined?" Aether asked.

"I– I.... Wha....." Amber's whole face was red and steaming. She couldn't even speak.

"He's..... holding my h-hand. And he intertwined it together? He–he' s such a per–pervert...." Amber thought.

"Really regretting letting it go." Aether thought and ran. This action gained Amber's attention.

"He's going to do it." Amber thought. Aether jumped off the ledge and Amber followed him.

Aether stretched his hand.

*Fwoop!*

He looked behind him and there was wings behind him. It had a grey and blue combination. There were some star patterns on the blue colored part.

"This.... is fun and boring at the same time. Probably should mess with Amber again." Aether thought. He was enjoying the view of Mondstadt while gliding. Amber was smiling seeing the joy in his face.

"His face... looks so handsome. Wait! Why did I think of that? He's not handsome! He's a pervert for holding my hand like that!" Amber thought angrily.

Aether then looked back at Amber and winked at her.

" Wait.... why did he do that?" Amber thought blushing.

Aether then put his hands down. Which is what Amber did not want him to do.

Aether the fell from the sky.

"No!" Amber then jumped down and dove.

"Now This is gliding!" Aether shouted doing flips. When he was meters from hitting the ground.

"He's going to hit the ground!" Amber thought scared that she won't reach him in time.

Aether stretched out his hands again.

*Fwoop!*

He glided down and landed safely. With Amber following him.

"Guess I'm bouta get slapped for doing that. Welp it's a good thing that I have the flame armor that might not work. " Aether thought steam coming out from both sides of his face. He'll take the pain. Like men always do sometimes.

Steam also came out from both arms. He didn't want her to break his arm somehow. Most anime boys let girls slap them like it's nobody's business. *Cough* Naruto*Cough*

Amber went up to him angrily and slapped his arm. Which burned her a little.

"Sss. Why did you do that Aether! You could've died and it would be my fault for letting you glide without me beside you!" Amber scolded him. Tears were threatening to come out of her eyes.

" When will you learn that actions have consequences? Guess a month and a half by yourself is killing you on the inside huh? Remember that this is not a game now. You can't respawn and act like nothing happened. You can bleed, you can get killed. Guess it's time to apologize. " Aether really needed to touch grass after this.

"Hey.... Amber....."

"Hmph! I'm not forgiving you for doing this! You're a pervert and an idiot! I hate you!" Amber turned away with a cute pout on her face.

"Why did my hand burn a little when I hit him on the arm? I did see steam coming out from his hands and face. And it did hurt a little when I hit him. Did he somehow make his arms stronger with his pyro element? ", Amber thought while pouting.

" Oh.... I'll go away now.... " Aether said and walked away slowly.

(He's not acting btw. "I hate you" was a pretty big blow to him. And you guys said Aether's calm. That's just in the game, now it's in real life. when I said he inherited the original Aether's personality, I did not say he inherited all of it.)

"Where are you going?!" Amber shouted out but he didn't listen. No he's not in tears. He's hurt a little bit. If the author could choose a scale of 1 to 100 on how hurt Aether is, he would say 20/100.

"Maybe I hit a little bit too hard. He also was anticipating a slap to the face. I will never do that to my friend! Better go and apologize to him before he disappears again." Amber ran quickly.

("Again" meaning the first massacre Aether did. You get what I mean)

"Wait!" Amber shouted skidding in front of him. Dust formed around her feet as she halted.

"What do you want." Aether asked with cold eyes. His eyes still have the red fiery glow. Only now it didn't give out warmth or happiness, it only gave out a freezing and sad feeling.

"I didn't mean to slap you that hard! And I don't hate you too! I-i was scared that you would die! So I acted on impulse! I'm sorry if it hurts you a lot!" Amber apologize. Now she was blushing out of embarrassment. She never had to apologize for something that big before. If you can count this big. But it's in her opinion so we shouldn't judge.

Aether smiled.

" I don't even know why I'm apologizing to you! You should be the one apologizing to me for almost giving me a heart attack with that stunt! " Amber pointed to him.

" So you better hope I don't fufill my vow and —why are you smiling! " Amber asked angrily.

" Huhuhu. You're really funny Amber. But do you really forgive me? " Aether asked getting close to her face.

Amber looked away. Her hands were behind her back rubbing together. "I mean.... yeah.... But you better not do that again or I'll put an arrow through your heart!" Amber warned.

"Yay! You forgived me! You made me happy again! You deserve some head pats. Come here." Aether pulled Amber in and gave her head pats.

Paimon appeared. "What did Paimon say about giving people head pats!? When giving other people head pats, you should —

"Give Paimon head pats as well. Yeah yeah come here Paimon." Paimon recieved some head pats. She smiled like the sun. Amber smiled and lowered her head shyly.

There we go, happy family again. Now we just hope that no one comes by and says something about it.
