Fight

"Are you insane! You want to fight every one of us?!" Ganyu shouted with a shocked face. Aether nodded and smiled.

"Yeah, if I win you guys have to forgive me. If I lose I'll do whatever you guys want. " Aether told the Qilin.

" You don't need to do this Aether. You just have to give some of us time. I will admit, I am angry at the fact that you acted like you didn't just die when you somehow came back. But now that feeling has reduced greatly. " Ganyu told him.

" What about Xiao and Shenhe? They don't even want to talk to me anymore. " Aether looked down sadly.

"Just give them time." Ganyu gave him her advice. Aether shook his head.

"I can't, I have to say sorry. I think fighting them is the best idea, at least that's what your uncle (Zhongli) said." Aether explained. Ganyu looked at him for a while and frowned.

"You do realize that they won't hold anything back right? They're very angry. Shenhe and Keqing thinks you pranked them when you died." Ganyu told him sadly. Aether shrugged his shoulders.

" I don't care. I will do whatever it takes to be forgiven. " Aether looked into her eyes with fiery determination in his golden eyes.

"I will talk to them. Please wait here." Ganyu told him and disappeared, leaving some snowflakes behind.

Aether looked around the room. He was back in Cloud Retainer's abode again. He went into the training room and waited for Ganyu to arrive with them in tow.

"Paimon, you there?" Aether asked in his mind.

"Paimon's always here." Paimon answered after appearing beside him. Aether looked at her.

"You didn't answer my question, Paimon. Do you know who Asmoday is?" Aether leaned in closer to her face and stared into her eyes seriously.

"Erm.... Paimon doesn't know what you're talking about. " Paimon looked away nervously. Aether narrowed his eyes at her.

" Really. Then why do you look like her? " Aether created an exact image of Asmoday beside her.

" Just because she's Paimon's twin sister doesn't mean Paimon will look exactly like her! " Paimon shouted defiantly. Aether looked at her with a raised eyebrow.

"Tell me what you said again." Aether told her with a smirk on his face.

"Paimon said, just because she's Paimon's twin sister—..." Paimon slowly blushed a deep shade of red realizing she fucked up.

"You didn't hear anything! " Paimon disappeared into Aether's mind. Aether laughed out loud.

"That solves the mystery. Now she just needs to grow up. Then they'll be actual twin sisters." Aether smirked. He walked around the training room.

" I wonder how large this room is. Because from my point of view, it has endless range. " Aether thought to himself. He stopped pondering and stopped walking.

" Finally. " Aether muttered and turned around. He saw Ganyu who was followed by Xiao, Shenhe, Keqing and Ningguang.

"Oh look, it's the 'God of Destruction'." Keqing mocked. Aether smirked.

"Oh look, it's a cat girl." Aether mocked back. Keqing who now had an embarrassed blush on her face, growled at him.

Ganyu arrived in front of him. "They are agreeing to your demands. Aether. Just please don't kill each other. " Ganyu pleaded. Aether raised his hand and stroked her goat horns.

"Kya! No, don't do that!" Ganyu slapped his hand away. She covered her horns and pouted cutely at him. Aether smirked.

"I'm ready whenever they're ready." Aether told her.

"Ganyu! " Xiao called the blushing Qilin. Ganyu snapped out of it and arrived beside Xiao.

" Yes? " She answered.

" Fight with us. " Xiao looked at her with a serious gaze.

"Are you sure?" Ganyu asked while looking at Aether who was looking at her with those golden eyes of his.

"Yes." Xiao answered. Ganyu sighed. She looked at Aether and muttered an apology towards him. Ningguang frowned upon this.

"Why do you have to bring her into this, Conqueror of Demons? She has done nothing but forgive him. I somehow was also brought into this whole thing. I have better things to do like improving trade relations with Mondstadt and Sumeru." Ningguang thought to herself feeling irritated.

Aether who was on the other side of the battlefield, heard her apology and smiled softly. "It's alright." He muttered back. Aether went to his side of the battlefield.

"So which one of you should I bring out?" Aether muttered while looking at his katanas.

"Fuck it I'll just bring both of you guys." He unsheathed Enma and Shira Kosaku. The katanas hummed in response to his great decision.

He looked up to see Xiao and her group all getting in a combat stance. Aether smirked.

"Fight starts now!" He shouted.

He and Xiao jumped up into the air and brought back their katanas and spears.

"Haaa!!!"

"Heh!!!"

*BAAAAAAAAAAANGG!!!!*

They clashed blades in the middle. There was a dark green ball with a black core in it. Black lightning crackled violently around them as both of them tried to overpower one another.

Xiao and Aether brought back their weapons again.

"Grr..." Xiao growled. Aether meanwhile had a smirk on his face. They swung their weapons at each other again.

*CLANG!!*

*CLANG!!*

*BOOM!*

There was wave after wave of shockwaves as Xiao and Aether continued to clash their weapons. The only thing Shenhe could see were blurs around the battlefield. The others were having a much harder time, they couldn't see where Xiao and Aether were at all as they were too fast. They could only feel the shockwaves.

"Raaaa!!!!" Xiao growled as her Yaksha mask slowly appeared and covered her face. Aether grinned even wider.

"Yes, Xiao! Take your anger out on me! Kill me if you can!" Aether shouted in between strike after strike.

"Argh!!" Xiao tried to kick him with her right leg but Aether raised his left hand and lightly tapped it away.

This light love tap caused Xiao to fly back a little. Xiao landed and glared at him with her Yaksha Mask on.

She leaped up to the air. She was floating above him.

"Lament!!" She shouted before slammed down to the ground, stabbing her Primordial Jade Winged-Spear into the ground. Aether had already jumped away from her attack.

But what he didn't know was that a sea of dark green spears rose up from the ground.

*Shhkkkk!!!*

Aether widened his eyes and looked down. He saw four spears stabbing through four parts of his chest. He looked at Xiao who grabbed her spear and looked at him.
