Awakening

In a grassy field, there were butterflies floating around looking for flowers. Several dragonflies zoomed around a pond. A frog jumped from a log and into the pond.

The birds were singing songs on a tree without a care for the world around them. Their world is about to be disturbed.

Ashes were suddenly formed out of nowhere and flew towards each other. It was forming something— no.... The ashes were forming someone.

Slowly the ashes combined and created a human body. The human body had a face with all its features on it. There were also clothes on the body. The human body looked a lot like a man's body.

One amazing feature about the human body is that it has cracks on its stomach and face. The human's eyes were closed as if it was sleeping.

But then it suddenly opened its eyes. The circular eyes were red colored but there was a very black color around the circle.

The human body took his first breath. He was alive. He didn't know what was going on. He then raised his hands and looked at them. They were ashy grey.

Moments later, color slowly started to return to the man's body. The man saw his grey skin slowly turned into a warm and yellowish skin tone.

After a while, the color was restored to the man's body. A butterfly landed on the man's hand. The man sat up and looked at the butterfly.

"Hello there." The man smiled and greeted the butterfly. The butterfly flapped its wings and flew to the pond.

The man stood up and followed the butterfly to the pond. He stopped at the edge of the pond and looked into the blue water.

"Holy shit. I'm alive." The man knelt down and looked closer at his reflection. Wind blew past the man's face, he could feel the cool breeze.

"But how? Where am I? The last thing I saw was all of Osial's seven heads shot a dark blue beam through me. " The man looked at his hands.

" I..... I'm alive. But why do I suddenly feel so sad. " The man muttered and rubbed his forehead.

"Fuck. Paimon, Xiao, Shenhe, Ganyu, Ningguang, Keqing. Shit." The man muttered and got up.

" Zhongli, I hope you kept your promise to me. " The man muttered and walked into the forest behind him.

"All of this feels too real. Could this be Celestia? Maybe, but I can't be that certain yet." The man touched the tree and looked around.

He looked down and saw a crack on his stomach. "A reminder of how I died I guess." The man thought to himself and kept walking.

"I seem to have kept all of my powers even though I died. That would be very useful. I need to go back. I cannot just stand here and accept the fact that I'm dead." The man said with a determined fire in his eyes. He then sighed disappointedly.

"If it were that easy, I would've been alive again the next hour." Aether muttered and kept walking.

He arrived in front of a dried up forest. The trees were destroyed, dried leaves scattered the ground. And he also noticed that the trees were slowly burning.

"How is it still burning. It looks like the fire had been lit up a long time ago." The man shrugged and kept walking.

"Why didn't Enma and Shira Kosaku come with me? Is it because I dropped them in the sea? " The man thought to himself while looking around the burnt up and destroyed forest.

"Something feels off..... I feel like I'm not supposed to be here. " He muttered.

" Oh shit! " He then suddenly jumped away. He avoided a purple colored lightning bolt that appeared from thin air.

*ZAP!!!*

*BAAAAANGG!!!!*

He appeared meters away from where the lightning bolt was about to fry him into dust. He looked at the big crater that was not there before.

"I need to get out of here." He muttered and started walking faster. He sensed something coming at him at the speed of lightning from his right.

He created a black portal and another purple lightning bolt appeared out of nowhere and shot into the portal.

A second black portal appeared in the sky and the lightning bolt shot out of that portal.

*ZAP!!*

*BAAAAANGG!!!!*

The lightning bolt which was meant for the man destroyed a bunch of trees instead. A log flew at him and he ducked it.

He stood up straight again and looked at the destruction. "So that's where the fire comes from." He commented. The destroyed trees were burning, courtesy of the lightning bolt.

"Why am I still standing here." He muttered. A lightning bolt shot into the portal in the sky.

The man immediately closed the portal beside him. He breathed out a sigh of relief. He then started to run.

"Don't think so, human!" He heard and immediately turned around to be met by two fists.

*BAAAMMM!!!*

He flew away and crashed through a lot of trees. He immediately got up and dashed in front of the one who attacked him. When he arrived in front of the person, his fists turned black signifying that the Geo Element covered his hands.

"Haaa!!!" The man threw a punch at the man who attacked him. He blocked it with ease.

He threw another punch but the man blocked it again with no struggle.

Then he noticed something. The man who attacked him had four hands. He had two hands on the right and left side.

A portal appeared in between them as the lightning bolt from before shot out and hit the man.

*ZAP!*

*BAAAAANGG!!!!!*

The four handed man was sent back and crashed against a boulder.

"Ooof!!!" The four handed man grunted. He then got up and chuckled.

"That's a strange element you have there. Tell me, stranger. What element is that?" The four handed man asked with curiosity in his voice.

"Why should I tell you? I don't even know who you are." He answered while getting ready to fight again.

"Of course you don't. I too, don't know who you are. Please, tell me your name." The four handed man asked him to introduce himself.

"Aether. What is your name?" Aether asked him. The four handed man smirked.

" You're looking at one of the five Yaksha. The name's Bosacius. A pleasure to meet you, Aether.....
