A lot has changed since the rise of Shogun Raiden, the ruler of Inazuma who domain the half of Teyvat's territory at 2020. One of her most important modifications was the creation of “Oblivion”, a high-tech prison where criminals are expelled and televised in order to promote good behavior and obedience to the new regime through the exhibition of the game "DOPE". In this game criminals are forced to eliminate other prisoners in order to get points and stay alive. One of the new faces of DOPE is Aether, a 20-year-old who lost his parents' millionaire inheritance by committing the murder of his best friend under the influence of alcohol who has amnesia after being shooted by a cop. Her twin sister Lumine, who is one of the few who believes in his innocence, tries to reopen the case to obtain an appeal and a new hearing to unlink his brother from the murder. But in the meantime, Aether will have no choice but to make an alliance with a strange and mysterious young man of a similar age and black hair who calls himself "Scaramouche" in order to stay alive during the game. Will Aether manage to stay alive with this young man? Will Lumine be able to save her brother from this parallel dimension?
Hello everyone, before reading this work i will give you context in order to have a better reading experience:
1. Regarding to this work: This work is an Alternative Universe inspired in Cyberpunk and Post-Apocalyptic environment. That means the characters doesn't have "visions" or any "kind of magic", so their lore will be slightly modified. Their skills will be replaced with a human or technological skills. In addition to that relationships between the characters aren't following the cannonic path of Genshin Impact lore.
Moreover this work has a R rating due to the contents, these could be triggering for certain audiences or not suitable for minors.
2. Regarding to the main ship: This work is an M/M between the main ship "Scaraether", but another ships could be seen in this work (Ayathoma, Tartali, Cynonari, Ayalumi, Kavetham, etc).
2a.- Scaramouche/Wanderer is a ftm trans person who is in a relationship with Aether. As you can expect, i wont tolerate any kind of transphobia or LGBTQphobia on the comments. Some of my headcanons will be shown on this work too.
3. Regarding to non-main characters, ages and looks: All the characters have an aproximated canon age.
3a.- In case of arconts the may be on a aproximated 30-48 human age.
3b.- Other no-human characters (Xiao, Albedo, Ganyu) age will be shown in the story with their currently clothing and accesory setting, instead of their canonical clothings.
3c.- Underage characters will be remain as minors. Having an exception with Bennett, Razor and Fischl, their ages and descriptions has been adjusted to 19-20 years old to be included on the plot.
3d.- Their clothing and accesories are inspired on techwear aesthetic or other style related to cyberpunk aesthetic,
