Sakumo Hatake vs. Hasai Uchiha!

Sakumo chased Hasai down the hall.

'From the information I've gathered on his Mangekyou ability, his eyes have two different abilities that trigger as soon as I hear his voice.

It's a sound genjutsu.

To beat him, I'll have to use my other senses and catch him off guard, that's why I sealed my hearing, it's a disadvantage but I'll manage. To add to that I also have to keep damage minimum.' Sakumo thought.

Sakumo took a sharp turn and quickly made hand signs.

"Earth-style: mud wall!"

Sakumo slammed his hands on the ground, and a giant wall rose in front of Hasai.

"Tch!" Hasai turned around frustratedly.

His eyes widened seeing Sakumo lunging at him with his chakra blade.

"So fast…"

Hasai quickly blocked the attack, but the impact sent him back.

Hasai slid backward and hit the earth wall behind him.

"I…

I killed you. Why are you still alive?!" Hasai questions Sakumo.

'This whole situation seems outrageous!

I stabbed his heart. I'm sure.'

Sakumo launched attacks in quick succession again. He threw multiple kunai and made a hand seal.

"Shuriken shadow clone jutsu!"

*Poof!*

The kunai multiplied and rapidly headed towards Hasai.

"Fireball jutsu!"

Hasai quickly made signs and shot a giant fireball toward Sakumo.

The Fireball melted Sakumo's kunai and headed toward him.

Sakumo made hand signs again and slammed his hands on the ground.

"Earth-style: mud wall!"

A giant wall rose from the ground.

BOOM!!

The Fireball collided with the wall and burned nearly all of it.

'That was close, the moment he figures out I can't hear him this fight will take a turn, I'm still wounded and-'

Sakumo's thoughts were interrupted when he saw Hasai's blade coming from the side.

Sakumo jumped back and let the blade miss.

"Wait, that's a-"

Boom!

The katana exploded and sent Sakumo through his office and into the town…

As Sakumo fought, Hasai, Ryuu, and Shisui were at a gambling den.

"Sensei, what's the point of this if you already know how it'll end?"

"I told you already, I'm trying to see if I'll run out of luck."

Shisui rolled his eyes.

'I still can't believe this guy is the best of us…

But at least it's better than nothing.'

"Here, hold these for me."

"Sensei, I'm running out of space here."

Shisui said as he held ten bags of money.

Ryuu was inserting a coin into the slot machine when he got a sudden feeling in the back of his head.

"Nobu, contact Shisui."

Nobu connected their minds.

"Shisui, something is happening in Konoha, fathers chakra is low and he's in critical condition. I don't know more than that."

"What? The Hokage is in trouble?"

"Yeah, I'm making a wood clone, stay in Suna and I'll be back."

Shisui nodded.

Ryuu got up and sealed all his money.

While Ryuu was preparing for a fight, Sakumo was struggling to get up after that explosion hit half his body.

His Hokage cloak was torn up and bloodied.

'This is the last thing I wanted.

Once people see us fighting, there's no doubt about what'll happen afterward.'

"Ah! My… body…"

Sakumo groaned as he got up.

He looked ahead and saw his blades on the other side.

Hasai saw the downed Hokage and immediately jumped to get him.

While in the air, he made a hand seal and his Katana caught flames.

"Uchiha style: halo dance!"

Hasai swung his Katana, and a giant wave of fire headed toward Sakumo.

Sakumo's eyes widened seeing the giant flame heading towards him.

'That jutsu…

It's so big…

This jutsu will not only hit me, but it'll hit a lot of houses too. I have to stop him.'

Sakumo quickly removed a scroll and summoned a giant chakra blade.

"Kenjutsu style: death slash!"

Sakumo infused his chakra into his blade and slashed at the fire.

Whoosh!

A wave of wind blew the fire away like it wasn't even there. Hasai moved at the last second and avoided it.

'He did that with chakra alone?'

When Hasai landed, his mask fell off and revealed his Sharingan.

"Gasp!"

A crowd of people saw his eyes and gasped.

"I knew it! Who else but the Uchiha clan could attack the Hokage? Next thing you know, his entire clan will attack us!"

"I bet they're already planning it! Those Uchiha scumbags think they're so much better than us! We're lucky Ryuu-sama is only half Uchiha, he would've ended up just like them!"

Sakumo quickly glanced at the villagers.

Hasai's eyes widened again.

"See what I mean, Hokage?

These villagers don't deserve the Uchiha clan! Danzo-sama knows this too!

He'll fix everything!"

'That look in his eye.

This is an obsession.

I should've used this blade at first, but I was saving it.

Thanks to Rikuto's blade, I'll be fully powered shortly.

This blade absorbs chakra from external sources, and then it refills my chakra.

But it has a catch, if I use it without absorbing chakra, it'll drain mine rapidly and it has a limit for chakra, it's not like Ryuu's Nagitana.

So I have to be in constant battle now.'

Sakumo took the rest of his torn Hokage cloak off.

'That's no longer a problem.'

Whoosh!

Multiple Anbu units arrived and surrounded Sakumo.

"At your service, Hokage-sama!"

Sakumo halted them.

"I'll take care of this, make a barrier, and wait for Ryuu to arrive."

"Yes, sir!"

Hasai smirked upon hearing that.

"Growing overconfident, aren't we, Hokage?"

Sakumo rushed towards Hasai with the blade in his hand.

"Oh, well…"

"Reaper death slash!" Sakumo charged chakra and slashed Hasai so quickly that he looked like a blur!

Sakumo flickered as he appeared behind Hasai with his blade full of blood.

'I got him!'

"Hmph…"

Hearing that scoff, Sakumo looked behind him and saw a giant blue skeletal arm heading for him.

Boom!

Sakumo jumped back as the hand hit the ground.

'He used that forbidden technique, Izanagi.'

A giant blue skeletal avatar stood in front of him.

"Look, what kind of power is that?"

"I don't know. Is it an Uchiha jutsu?"

Multiple villagers wondered what was that, and some were stunned by the display of power.

Sakumo made hand signs and inhaled a lot of air, then spewed it all out in giant bombs.

"Wind Style: vacuum bullet!"

Boom! BOOM!

Sakumo's bullets dazed the Susanoo, sending him a few steps backward.

'He can't keep the Susanoo active for a long time, he didn't prepare for a long fight, and that's why he seemed so surprised to see me alive. In addition, that jutsu he used earlier must have a cooldown or maybe it needs both eyes, which is why he hasn't used it again.'

"This is the power of the Uchiha!

Behold! Fifth Hokage!"

Hasai held his hand out and two giant hammers made of chakra formed as an extension of his Susanoo.

Hasai tightened his grip on the hammers and smashed them together.

A surge of chakra hit Sakumo into a wall.

"Hokage-sama!"

A lady screamed seeing Sakumo being hit that hard.

Sakumo dragged himself back up.

'Damn it.

That explosion might hurt all those people inside the building.'

Hasai's Susanoo slowly moved towards Sakumo.

"This time, I'll make sure you're dead for good."

Hasai raised his hammer and prepared to strike Sakumo.

"Get out of there Hokage-sama!"

Boom!!

Hasai's hammer sent a shockwave while hitting Sakumo.

'No blood and I didn't feel him. Has Ryuu returned? This isn't good…'

He removed his hand to check.

His eyes widened, seeing Sakumo untouched and Obito standing beside him.

"Took you long enough."

"Sorry, I promised Rin I'd take her out."

Sakumo smirked.

"Is he here?" Sakumo asked.

"Look at the ground."

Sakumo looked at the floor and noticed sealing marks spreading inside the barrier.

Fwoosh!

Hasai vanished.

Hasai appeared in the forest outside the village. He was still in his Susanoo avatar, but Ryuu and Kakashi were in his way.

"Kakashi, we have five minutes to knock him out, he has the Mangekyou Sharingan and a powerful one at that.

But don't be too worried, he used one eye so his ability is useless as of now."

"Got it."

"Wait a second, captain.

Ryuu.

I'm doing this for us! For the Uchiha clan!"

Ryuu activated his Sharingan and yelled,

"You idiot! You've ruined everything! I can't believe I trusted you."

"Don't worry, Danzo-sama will fix this."

"You tried to kill my father!"

"A small sacrifice for the clan, he isn't even part of the clan. Danzo-sama promised me great power that would save our clan if I killed the Hokage! You weren't supposed to find out."

"Tch!

What a bastard." Ryuu looked away.

"Kakashi?"

"I already know." Ryuu nodded.

Kakashi activated his Sharingan.

"Let's do this."

They both said and entered lightning chakra mode.

Whoosh!

Ryuu and Kakashi flickered so fast they appeared like bolts of lightning.

Two figures appeared above Hasai.

One of them had lightning in his arm and the other had a giant flaming shuriken.

"Fire style: Rasen-shuriken!"

"Lightning style: lightning beast hunting fang!"

BOOM!!!

The two ninjutsu collided and made a thunderous explosion of fire and sparks of lightning.

The trees in the forest turned to ash and smoke, and after a short while, Ryuu and Kakashi left the impure world and walked toward Hasai.

Half of his body was burned and smoking.

"Let's take him back to the village for questioning. He probably knows about Izanagi."

"Good call."

Ryuu took Hasai and threw him into his dimension.
