03.Boss

Alex knocked the door in front of him.After a while a old voice sounded from inside, "Come in".

Hearing the voice Alex went inside. The President's room was luxuriously designed and in the middle of the room the old man was sitting on his chair. The old man looked at him and said , "This is your 3rd time late at meeting what's happening is there any problem?"

How could Alex answer his boss that he was reading novel late at night.. Thinking this he broke in cold sweats again.

Seeing the silent Alex the old man said, "Is this problem so big that you can't say anything to me?

Hearing this Alex became nervous thinking what to reply to his boss,then he suddenly lied ," My Aunt was hospitalized yesterday". Then he sorrowfully said, "She had a accident when going to shopping ,by the time I arrived to see her she was in ICU"

Hearing this the old man's expression softened slightly.He then said, "I see.. you should have told me earlier and you did not have to come today"

Hearing this Alex sighed with relief then said, "How can I not attend today's meeting.Today's meeting was very important so I didn't dare to be absent today".

The old man was surprised he then said ," You can take early leave for today and visit your aunt"

Alex was overjoyed inside but didn't show in his expression he then said, " Thank you sir ". He bowed towards his boss and leaved the president's office.After Alex came out of the door he was really happy with the outcome.He thought today was his last day of job.

His heart was beating like crazy this whole time.
