Game 2: Wolf Game

It feels warm almost like I am in heaven it also smells nice. Where am I? I don't know either. Maybe opening my eyes will help?

"So...you're finally awake?"

Turns out my head was laying on Natalya's lap. She looked at me and gave me a white toothy smile. I quickly get up. The room we are in doesn't have very much light. It also feels like we are moving.

"Where are we?"

"I don't know either. But I do know that we are being 'transported' right now to the next game."

"How did you wake up?"

"I obviously woke up before you and saw you laying on the ground so I put you on my lap"

(YOO! Guys you awake?)

We heard a voice echoing around the automobile.

"What are you doing to us?"

(Oh don't worry about that! you're gonna love the next game!")

"Why are you doing this?"

(So you expect an answer?)

"Err....no?"

(Exactly)

I kept quiet for a while and asked again.

"What is this game all about? And if it's our parents' debts then we would have known ya liar"

(The reason you never knew about this game was because they were strictly restricted to give any information regarding this game to anyone including you)

"That can't be true. Even if that were the case then all of our classmates coincidentally have the same situation as us? There are like 36 students in the class"

(It wasn't a coincidence though. All of your classmates were selectively chosen to join this game.)

Something still doesn't feel right. I need to get more information.

"By the way...what's our current debt? You didn't tell us in the last game."

(Oh right your current debt is 10,000 points and 1pt=100$ )

Oh shit! I currently have a debt of 1,000,000$ then. But there are still many mysteries to be solved because we still don't know why they are making a bunch of highschoolers to complete the debts instead of the parents themselves.

"Excuse me? What about my debt??"

(Oh yeah your's and ausable's both debts have been combined.)

That's the single most good thing that happened to be till now. Now that our debts are joined I don't have to worry about competing against her.

(Yoooo! Guys! Good news! You have reached your destination to the next game!)

As he said that the door at the back of the automobile opened. It looks like it was some kind of...van? It had an unusual design. The question is how did they transport us all the way here without any problem?

"Looks like there is a weird mansion infront" Natalya said

We are in a garden of some sort. There is a big mansion with uneven roof infront of us.

"Looks like we are supposed to go in"

The outside is covered with electrical fences. So there is no way of escaping this hell. Even if someone managed to escape there is a large forest out there.

We started going towards the main door of the mansion. The van behind us seems to be driving away.

"Wha-"

This is weird, the van did not have a driver in there. The only possibility is that it was AI driven.

So we are playing a game hosted by a rich psychopath with advanced technology. Great.

"I can't wait to live here with you! Just like the old days! When we used to play our little husband-wife game"

It doesn't look like Natalya is being serious right now.

We opened the door which took quite some effort as the door was close to 17 feet tall.

"Looks like there are more"

Inside we saw a group of 5 people looking at us.

These are probably players for the game. Looks like we won't be competing with or playing with our classmates anymore. Which is an advantage for me.

"Looks like all seven people are here now!"

A girl with long pink here stated

"We are going to be playing the second Genius' game! Looks like we will be together for quite some time. Let's start by introducing ourselves!"

Looks like she is going to be the leader of the group.

"My name is Amelia! I am a highschooler! I hope we get along together!"

Everyone stayed silent after her introduction. Doesn't look like a good start to me.

"Hey Amelia! My name is Natalya! I am also a highschooler! You seem like a kind person!"

And ofcourse this bitch had to butt in.

"This right here is my best friend ausable! Say 'hi' ausable!"

Oh no

"Oh uh-h-hey! My name is ausable...nice to meet you.."

"Hello Natalya and ausable! Thanks for participating in the introductions! And you guys are?"

"Tsk...my name is ichika"

"H-hey! I am mark!"

"I am Reuben! Sorry but my friend is sick so he can't be participating in the introductions right now! He is upstairs please excuse him! His name is Jake by the way!"

"Oh it's fine Reuben! I hope your friends gets well soon!"

Amelia has a similar aura to Natalya but it looks like she likes socializing more than her.

(EYYY! Y'all did it! You guys completed the first task of the game!)

The echoing voice again.

"Wait the first task?"

(Yup! Throughout the game you guys will be given several tasks and objectives to help you win! Welcome to the second game! "The Wolves game")

"The Wolves game?"

(Yup! This game doesn't have a particular set of rules! The game is going to be changing its shape like water so that you guys have to constantly adapt to it!)

So this game is going to be about our adaptability skills and problem solving skills. Sound interesting I guess.

(There are phones in 4 respective rooms! Each room contains 2 phones one yours and one someone else's.)

"I don't get it"

(Allow me to explain. Your guys have to choose who you partner up with to spend the next 30 days in this game! Since there are only 4 rooms you have to choose a maximum of 2 people per room! So start choosing! And there are 7 of you so one person will be left out! Try not to be that person since they will gain a loss of 2000pts.)

That's not something I have to worry about as of now. Natalya is going to be my partner.

(At exactly 9:30pm one of you seven people will be randomly chosen as the "wolf". The wolf is one of the important characters in this game! And the only character of this game. The wolf can decide to protect you and hold all the scars to themselves or simply....BETRAY YOU. Also, if you guess the wolf's name correctly then the wolf will be eliminated and i the game will end. However if you guess wrong 1M pts will be added to your debt.)

So if I become the wolf i have to betray Natalya? No that's not right, we have the same debts I can't possibly betray her can i? Also the devs don't want us to be randomly guessing around the Wolves identity.

"Guys we are going to head to our room so please. Allow us to leave"

Natalya bows down politely and she says this.

"Oh it's okay Natalya! And thanks for earlier!" Amelia replied

Natalya and i leave and then go to our rooms.

"There really are two phones here. Okay well this one is mine then!"

"Hey....about the wolf thing..."

"Yeah ofcourse I'm going to reveal you if I become the wolf!"

"Cool"

Natalya starts observing the room and as here graze falls towards the beds she falls down and gives out a loud cry.

"NOOO. It's not a single bed for us!!!"

"I'm glad"

"It's about to be 9:30pm. We might be close to getting the notification."

As she says this i get a notification.

(YOU HAVE NOT BEEN CHOSEN AS THE WOLF. THIS MESSAGE WILL BE REMOVED AFTER 5 MINUTES)

i show my phone to Natalya and she does the same.

"Looks like we are both not the Wolves huh?"

"Yeah pretty much. I'm kind of curious to know what this "wolf " does anyway."

As she is crying in the room. A loud voice is heard from outside.

We rush towards the living room.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU CANT TEAM UP WITH ME??"

"Mrs ichika please calm down"

"CALM DOWN?? I CANT AFFORD A DEBT OF 2000pts!"

"I understand Mrs ichika but-"

"BUT WHAT? YOU HAVE NO REASON TO DENY! IM A GIRL AND YOUR ALSO A GIRL! THERE IS NO PROBLEM! YOU SHOULD RATHER SPEND 30 DAYS WITH ME THAN HIM!"

Looks like the fight is about who becomes Amelia's partner. The unusual part is the fight is between ichika and Amelia herself. Mark seems just standing there. Reuben and Jake were friends so it's only natural for them to partner up.

"I'm sorry ichika! But i have already chosen a partner..."

"IM TIRED OF THIS SHIT"

Ichika runs upstairs and after a while a slam is heard.

"Sorry to bother you guys. It's all my fault!"

"Oh no! How could we blame such a person like you? But we deserve to know what happened in full detail right?"

Natalya replies calmly to Amelia. I also wonder what happened here.
