The first time Sylas truly faced the Arctic Emperor Cobra's gaze, it felt like all of his blood had frozen cold. He realized that even if he could see the cobra's stats, it wouldn't give him the full picture. If anything, it would just give him a false impression of what he was facing.

Maybe out there, somewhere, there was a beast of the Serpentes that really could ignore his Beast Totem's effects.

After a moment of shock, it felt as though something within Sylas had been provoked.

The mental pressure on him vanished, and he had the Basilisk King activate <Voice of a King> right then and there despite the fact it was being besieged.
