Sylas stepped into the large common room where there were three individuals waiting for him.

Not a single one of them had a Level above zero. Sylas doubted that it was because of a treasure. The odds of such a treasure being effective in his Territory were next to nothing.

That meant that these people simply had no Levels at all. They were probably being nurtured to earn Professions. Though he could see hints of nervousness in them, there was a professionalism there that made it obvious they had done this sort of thing for a living before the Summoning.

The difference was that before the Summoning… Sylas would have been thrown in jail for killing them. And now, there were no guardrails in place for them at all.
