Unforeseen

It's almost 5 pm in the evening and the number of customers that are entering the cafeteria are dwindling. Meanwhile, Dazaree is getting anxious as she looks at her wrist watch from time to time. Her heartbeat is racing and her palms are getting sweaty. In just an hour, she'll see Maree again.

"Dazaree?" Troye approached her. She looked around and smiled at him.

"Uhm, yes?' she asked.

"We'll have to close the cafeteria now," he told her.

"Oh, That's right! I almost forgot," she replied and laughed. "Where is Pharis and Demian?" she queried and looked around to find them.

"You spaced out so much that you forgot they left hours ago with Nana Seling," he answered.

Dazaree felt embarrassed as she scratched her head and said, "I'm sorry."

Troye smiled at her and replied, "Don't worry, it will be fine."

"Thanks," she told him as she tried to smile but she just couldn't convince herself to be positive.
