Chapter 9

Two days later, it's almost 11 pm midnight. The streets was void of people, only the cleaning Android roam the streets at night. There was less car on the road and less stores open. Genesis was in a small supermarket buying canned sodas and groceries. He picked up a bag of potato chips and examined it before he put it in basket tje picked up two more like it.

After shopping, the cashier bagged everything up for Genesis and after paying for the items Genesis took his receipt and left. The cashier bit him farewell but he ignored it. Genesis opened a can of soda and drank it as he walked back home.

He alone was walking on the road, it was silent. As he walk on the road his footstep could be heard and the sound of the tires rolling against the asphalt as the cars pass by. It's dangerous to walk alone these late hours at night. There have been news reports of people being kidnapped, gagged and even killed.

Genesis didn't care though, he just casually walked on the road with is hands in his pocket and with his eyes closed.He watched in the overhead bridge to the otherside of the streets. Suddenly a black Mercedes swerves off the road, climb the pavement and hit genesis. He didn't flinch as the car hit his barrier and flipped over his head and into the air before crashing on the ground and exploded.

" Hm ?"

Genesis who had a soda to his mouth opens his eyes and looked at the car that exploded and was a bit confused. Suddenly, two more black Mercedes appeared. After the car stopped men armed with guns came out and started shooting at genesis with assualts rifles.

He didn't flinch or even move. As the bullets got close to Genesis they stopped centimeters away from his body in a transparent cloud of mist surrounding Genesis body. The attackers kept firing but the bullet stopped in the same spot.

Genesis snapped his finger and the bullets were reflected back at the attackers. Some was shot in the head, chest and other vital parts of their body. Genesis walked up to one of the men that was shot but remained conscious. He grabbed the man around his neck and lift him in the air.

" Okay, talk, who sent you ,was it the government ? or someone who wants me to help in their experiments "

The man tried his best to remove Genesis hand but it's futile, once Genesis has his grip on someone, he's not letting go until he gets what he wants.

" Talk "

" It was an order "

" From who ? "

" Just. Veronica Saturn "

Genesis got irritated and amplify the mans bioelectricity. He screamed shake in pain as he was electrocuted. Genesis stopped his torture to question him again.

" Where is she? "

Genesis manage to get his answer out of the guy. After he was done with him Genesis throw him aside and walked up to one of the Mercedes.

" Tch, so you want to play games huh... Fine, I'll play "

Genesis casually kicked the bumper of the car and send it flying into the sky.

In the meantime.

There was a party at a 3 star hotel. The party was over and people was returning to their cars. A lot of luxurious vehicles carrying very wealthy people. The person that stood out the most was a girl in her 18s with red hair and blue eyes. She was a beauty and the center of attention. She was with a woman in her 20 wearing a short dress and glasses. The girl stood out greatly amongst the wealthy. Her alluring figure was adorned in white gown made her a diamond amongst diamond. A boy walk up to her and started flirting with her.

" Veronica, it's getting late, do you need a ride home? "

The boy ask politely.

" No, I'm fine, I'm waiting for our car "

" It's cold out here though, it would surely affect the world if it's goddess catch a cold now would it.. Please take my jacket "

The boy removed his jacket and placed it around Veronica. He smiled as he looked her affectionately in the eyes. With his shiny blue hair and golden eyes, he could melt a woman's heart. However, Veronica felt disgust by his attitude and in her heart she didn't want to take his jacket, but still she did.

" Thank you Leon "

" Anything for you "

One of his bodyguard whispered to him and he nods.

" I'm sorry but I have to leave, thought it pain me, I have to.. I'll call you soon "

He kissed her hand and left. Veronica kept smiling as she watches him drive away. She instantly removed his jacket and throw it down.

" I'm glad he's gone, has you get any update on that boy yet ? "

Veronica asked her assistant who picks up the phone and called someone. She hold the phone to her ear for 10 seconds until put it back down.

" I'm sorry miss but the people we have send they aren't responding. "

" What could those idiots be doing?... Hm? "

Veronica heard a car alarm and looked up at the moon and saw something flying down. It was a black Mercedes Benz and it was coming in fast and hard. Veronica's assistant quickly pulled her away as the car crashes on the ground where Veronica was standing. Everyone who was standing there was suprised Lucky for them it didn't explode but that was frightening.

" Miss Veronica, are you alright? "

" Yes, I'm alright, Irene huh? "

Veronica looked at the car. Standing on the top of the car was a boy that she recognized. His long black hair that touches his shoulder, flows in the wind and glisten under the moonlight. Under his long bang that covered the right side of his face shifted in the wind and under it was glowing sky blue eye filled with the intent to kill. Veronica looked at the boy and she was speechless.

" You got a lot of nerve, sending all those men after me "

Genesis jumped off the car and walked up to her and stopped. Genesis then takes out a gun and points it at Veronica. She almost had an heart attack seeing a silver pistol being pointed at her face . Everyone around ran for cover immediately.

" Am I to believe that your looking for a fight with me ? You should know better not to mess with a villain, it could end badly for you "

" Wait, just hear me out ! "

Veronica assistant Irene move in to defend her.

" That wasn't our intention to cause any trouble...We just wanted to test your strength "

" Huh ?"

Genesis was confused but soon Irene stood up and pushed up her glasses.

" Do you know who this is, She's Veronica Saturn, the daughter of Rickland Saturn the CEO Of Saturn Industries "

" Never heard of you, now tell me what you want ! "

Genesis looked at them sternly, but what had them confused is that he doesn't know them. Saturn Industries is a award winning Multi-billio dollar company that develop technology for the country such as : cleaning Android, drones, Appliances and other electronic devices.

Veronica Saturn is the CEO's daughter, She's not only beautiful but highly intelligent. She's also featured on the covers of magazines and talk shows. Veronica is a celebrity who many woman want to be and man want to be with . So for genesis to not know who she is made Veronica very angry.

" Ignorant fool, how could you not know who I am ? you should be honored to be in my presence, in face you should be honored that I've notice you "

Veronica shout. Genesis looked at Veronica silently and cracked his neck.

" You know, I feel bad for you, so bad for you I could give you a pat on the head, It's true that where I stand now my status is compared to yours "

" Hmph, at least you know where you stand "

" Indeed I do "

Genesis put his gun down. Suddenly, a shot was fired in the air. A group of 9 men wearing armor and guns.

" Okay no one moves "

A big fellow with bald head and a scar across his nose walked forward.

" It's black hunters "

Said Irene, the big fellow walked forward and looked at Veronica and Irene, he then looked at genesis who stood there. He couldn't see genesis face because his bangs was hiding right side of his face .

" Okay, you two I need you to come with me "

He ordered Irene and Veronica.

" I'm going anywhere, my father is... "

" Rickland Saturn, we know, you're coming with us.. Take them "

" Yes sir "

Four of the seven hold on to veronica and Irene. Veronica struggle to get through there grip, she demanded that they let her go but they don't listen. She looked at Genesis who was standing there silently.

" What are you standing there for, help me !"

Veronica shouted, but Genesis didn't respond, he just smiled and started laughing loudly. They looked at genesis as he laughed and laughed evil laughter of insanity .

" kehehehehehe You want my help? I though I was an ignorant fool, unworthy to stand in your presence. Where did that confidence of yours go, huh ? "

Genesis looked at Veronica and smiled sadistically.

" Where is that power you so confident of or maybe you don't have any....Kehehehehehe "

Genesis turned and walk away. Veronica felt angry at genesis and angry at everyone around her. The leader of the kidnappers looks at genesis as he walked pass him.

" Coward "

The leader insulted Genesis and hearing him get called punk, genesis stopped walking and stood there silently.

" Hey *sshole "

Genesis then turned his head and looked at the man with murderous eyes.

" What did you call me? "
