Derek's body once again transformed. His clothes were destroyed as his size increased. Fur grew on his body. His face elongated into a snout. He groaned in pain and fell onto all fours.
Above, Noah asked, "What's happening to him?"
Lucas responded with a question, "He's transforming into a wolf, isn't he? Just like Lykaios."
Sienna said, "Yes, he is."
Sylvia added, "The first transformation is always extremely painful."
The boys watched in horror as Derek's bones rearranged themselves. By the time the transformation was over, a huge wolf was left in Derek's place. He was about five feet tall and eight feet long. His fur was dark blue, and his claws glinted with sharpness. His eyes were amber with silver pupils.
(A/N: Refer to the wolf form of the werewolves in Twilight. The only thing I liked in the saga and was somewhat accurate.)
