The Arcane World

In this world of Arcana, Seasons were divided into four with three sub-seasons each, encompassing thirty days each sub-season, a total of ninety days per season.

Green Breeze (30 days), Fresh Breeze (30days), and Mist Breeze (30 days), the season of Spring (90 days).

Copper Sun (30 days), Scarlet Sun (30 days), and Golden Sun (30 days), the season of Summer (90 days).

Ember Leaf (30 days), Rose Leaf (30 days), and Fallen Leaf (30 days), the season of Fall (90 days).

Leaf Frost (30 days), Wind Frost (30 days), and Sky Frost(30 days), the season of Winter.

Together, they encompassed a cycle of one year.

The four Kingdoms divided this world, covering millions of square kilometers in each territory.

The Technology Kingdom in the north, Alistar.

The vast lands Kingdom in the south, Arachel.

The military Kingdom in the west, Arales.

And the rich cultured Kingdom in the east, Asuka.

Traversing between Kingdoms by carriages would take roughly thirty days or more—fifteen days by train and a day or more by skyship.

At the center of these four Kingdoms stood the almighty Arcane Academy, a prestigious school for those chosen individuals gifted with the ability to unleash arcane arts.

Arcane, a source of life.

It is present in every living creature, from humans, animals down to plants and other life forms. It is the source of life—the source of energy.

At birth, every living creature had its own arcane force, just enough to live.

However, there were those chosen few whose affinities with arcane surpassed that of any other ordinary individual. They could use not only their arcane force but also the force of nature as well.

Nevertheless, all were governed by natural laws. Living creatures were born with just the right amount of arcane energy to live, and even though some could pull outside forces into their body, no one could unleash its might.

And so the tale begins when the Kingdom of Alistar devised a way for nature's energy to be used, and the Armalest was introduced.

With the help of the Armalest, the power was unleashed.

Still, no one could hold this massive amount of energy as the Armalest immediately turned to dust once the force was released.

Then, the arcane stones were discovered, and the Kingdom of Alistar became the Kingdom of technology.

And the military might between each Kingdom was never the same since then.
