Chapter 3- Dying In First Simulation

Diving in water where rodent-like species can't survive much longer, Arc was also feeling the water suffocating him.

Arc still moved forward to the downside of water. He wanted to just kill as much as he wanted because running can only increase the time before dying.

Arc who had now gained a strong momentum, kept going deep in the water. This water was not too deep but not too shallow as well. Many snakes who were coming his way were killed by the Arc in the same manner but he also got bitten under the belly.

This attack poisoned him which was taking a toll on his body.

Killing made many notifications appear on his screen.

[ You have killed 12 Mortal monsters ( Agile Green snake) ]

[ You have not gotten any Monster soul. ]

Arc has been falling now in the water while being surrounded by more and more snakes as more time passes.

Arc saw a light source in the down part of the pond which should not be there in the first place.

Arc filled with curiosity dived in that direction while getting dizzy from the poison.

Moving close to that light source, Arc can see that this light was coming out of a diamond made with sparkling red colour.

As the gaze of Arc fell on it, then a sudden feeling started welling up inside him to get his hands on this diamond.

He moved more fast while expending the last bit of energy in his body to get close to it.

Reaching there, Arc was already close to the end of his life but he crawled little by little and approached that diamond.

Arc swallowed that diamond without thinking anything before fainting while being unaware of notifications appearing on that screen.

[ You have absorbed the energy of Special item Blood diamond ]

[ Your best self is evolving into higher ranked monster ]

[ Evolution under process… ]

[ Evolution is too fast for your monster self to survive...]

[ Evolution has been raised to the level of Incomplete Enigma Monster ( Silver Diamond Armadillo ) ]

[ Ding! You have died. ]

[ Simulation has ended... ]

Arc again appeared in that white space with a screen full of notifications in front of him.

[ Your simulation has concluded ]

[Your rewards are being calculated. ]

[ Reward of Simulation- 1. Incomplete Enigma monster soul- Silver Diamond Armadillo ( Category- Armour )

 2. Ten Monster Martial Arts Fragments ]

[ Collect ]

On the downside of Screen was the option to collect the rewards.

Arc is now finding it hard to adjust to changes in his body again. He sat on the floor to not fall.

After waiting for a little longer, Arc stabilized his mindset, and body adjustment.

Arc reading the screen was happy but still controlled his facial expressions before clicking on the collect option.

As he clicked, He appeared back in his Stone-like place.

[ You have gained the Incomplete Enigma monster soul- Silver Diamond Armadillo ( Category- Armour ) ]

[ You have Gained Ten Monster Martial Arts Fragments... ]

 Arc knew that he had gained something of high rank from the information he heard in the words of people in that simulation and it might be a high price if he knew where to sell it in the first place.

Arc feels something inside him like it is waiting for his call.

Arc closed his eyes and saw the view of a Silver diamond-like-looking Armadillo. Its eyes were void of any emotions, on its opposite side were some crystal shards moving in circles.

Calling upon this feeling, Arc opened his eyes and what he witnessed and felt at that moment would be the best and most memorable experience in his life. He saw the small transparent image of Armadillo coming out of his body before it changed into a cloth-like form and wrapped around him, after this, it solidified into a silver diamond-like outer appearance. This all thing just happened within in few seconds. Arc can feel that he can move freely in this armour even though this armour appears to be a hard one.

Arc moved out of the place where he was standing before coming in front of those stone doors.

A circular screen appeared in front of him, this screen was about the door for a change.

[ Door Status- Closed ]

[ Note- Once you exist in this place even if before the end of timing, this place will disappear forever. ]

[ Do you want to exist in a safe place? ]

[ Yes/ No ]

Arc sighed with relief that at least this time there was the option of No.

Then finally thinking a lot about the consequences of his existence right now, he decided that he could take the risk of existing right now especially due to his worrying about returning home because his sister and mother might be waiting for him.

Arc clicked on the 'Yes' option.

With just one click, everything including stone walls and doors disappeared into dust that got mixed into the wind.

Arc was introduced to the view of the forest all around, he could look at a bigger view because he was standing on the top of a hill. This hill was not too high, but he still could look to a very far area. 

Arc Saw that in the clear sky were some flying beasts that looked like normal sparrows but that was not the case.

Seeing Arc appear out of nowhere, Sparrows were looking at him with some predator-like eyes. These eyes reminded Arc of those snakes which were hunting him in the simulation.

One sparrow swooped down on Arc and tried attacking Arc with its claws. 

'Clank...'

A sound was made due to a clash of attacks of sparrows on Arc's armour. Finding that his target was not injured in the slightest, Sparrow turned and swooped down at Arc again but this time Arc reacted quickly and grabbed the claw of Sparrow. He at the last moment succeeded even though his grip was slipping away from Sparrow's flexible body.

Using his other hand, Arc grabbed the sparrow and started putting pressure on it with his full strength but there seemed to be no effect on the body of the sparrow like its body was too hard for Arc's weak strength.
