The ruler of the kingdom (part 1)

During the next day. Dennis was out on the back side of the house wondering of what Dahlia said to him. He kept trying to figure out who was Selest. He didn't wanted to ask no one else since he wanted to find more answers of what was his life in the past few years. This world was still unknown on the current state that Dennis is in but for his other versions. Only a few of them know the place.

"This day seems so peaceful... Yet I still need answers."

Dennis walked back inside the house. He wanted to gear up before he goes find Selest but before that. X activated the computer frame and quickly typed the other computer adress that got linked to the one on the other world.

"Hey Dennis. Do you want to send a recording to let everyone know that your fine?" X asked.

Dennis didnt mind trying to send a video to let his friends know that his fine. He sat down on the couch and got into position. When X pressed the record button on the computer it showed how was Dennis was positioned.

"Alright... Let get this over with..."

Dennis looked deep at the camera as his left eye glowed.

"Hello guys. I hope you all doing fine over there... Me and the rest of my other versions got stuck in another world. We are trying our to figure out a way to get back but things are getting complicated on our end. So please understand that... We hope to establish a proper contact in about a few days so please be safe."

When Dennis finished speaking the recording stop. He felt a tear drop from his left eye. Then his chest started to hurt due to the words he used. X knew from the start that it was the best choice of words but it would affect Dennis by a lot.

"You should get going. The more you think about it, the longer it will hurt."

X said. Dennis understand what X meant. But it was hard to let a feeling go right in the spot.

"Yea... I guess your right..."

Dennis said as he left to pick up the things he is going to need for now. He went to his room to pick up the next following items: A book and pen, a retractable baton and his coat. Dennis quickly putted on his coat and went out.

When Dennis got out, he saw Paige heading to the house. He waived at Paige as she approached.

"Hey Dennis, what you up to today?" Paige asked.

"I was thinking of visiting the nearby town the capital." Dennis said.

Dennis wanted to get used to the location before things could keep on going. His plan was still under way but doesn't know when to execute it.

"I can take you to the town if you like." Paige said.

"Sure!"

Dennis agreed on Paige taking him to the town.

It took 30 minutes to get to the town by foot. They saw the park nearby and sat on one of the benches. Dennis was looking all around. He was amazed by how peaceful it is.

"How is this place so peaceful?" Dennis asked.

"There's like 5 or 6 more kingdoms that are currently in peace. Its been going for about 5 years from now." Paige said.

As they enjoy the view. They noticed a peculiar person heading towards them. Once the person got on view range they noticed that it was a girl with a dark pink color hair that was almost free as a cloud.

"Excuse me but have you two seen a boy that is this size around here?" The girl asked.

She placed her arm half way of her body to indicate the size of the boy. Paige scratch the back of her head while trying to remember. But Dennis closed his left eye real quick to locate the person. Once he found him, he received a headache for a split second.

"Ow! God that hurts!"

"Are you ok!"

The girl asked. She saw Dennis trying to calm himself. But he got up and started to look around. He pointed at one of the nearest buildings that had science logo on top of it.

"He is in that building."

Dennis said as he walked towards the building. Paige and the girl followed him to the building, but it didn't give them enough time to knock on the door since someone was already opened the door. It was a girl with dark purple hair. Dennis stood quiet for a moment to understand the situation. He looked at the other girl and realized what was going on.

"Welp I'm out if here."

Dennis took one step back and turned around to go back to the park, but he felt that something got a hold of his movement.

"Oh, you should stay, you seem like you can enjoy some company..."

Dennis felt his body being dragged into the building while the others just entered. Along the way they saw the small boy and Dennis quickly recognized him.

"Spike!?!"

Dennis said out loud. Spike turned around and looked at Dennis and stopped everything that he was doing.

"Wait, Dennis?!? I thought you went back to your world!"

Spike jumped on to Dennis. As it happened. Dennis memories jogged a little that made him remember a few things.

"Nix? Is that really Dennis?"

The girl with the pink hair said.

"I think that actually is Dennis, P. I wasn't able to recognize him for a moment since his magic aura changed."

Nix said. Nix was the one with the dark purple hair while P was the girl with the pink hair. Dennis was happy and confused at the same time but he wanted to know what happened on his past.

"Sorry if this a off topic question but do you all remember what happened to me? Or better to be said who the hell am I?"

Nix gave a hand to Dennis so that he can get up from the ground.

"Ill try to keep short."

Nix got everyone to sit down so that they could hear what she was about to say.

"Four years ago... a friend of ours found you in the forest nearby. You were unconscious and you barely responded. So she took you to P's house since it was the nearest. After a while you woke up with a fever and she took you to her house since most of her medical supplies was on her house. Then on the next day she introduced you to us while at that same da we discovered that you had a special talent..."

Nix said. Then they all looked at Dennis as his left eye started to glow.

"That's new, your eye never did that before." Nix said.

"This started out recently... Since I got here last night, its a god damn hell of a ride. And it started since heard the name Selest..."

Dennis said. He was still trying to figure out why his left eye started to act like that when he heard the name Selest.

"Did she do something to you before you left?" Nix asked.

"Not that I could remember of... But Dahlia told me to see her."

"Wait you spoke with Dahlia!? I was looking for her yesterday and she wasn't on her house!" P shouted out loud.

Everyone else got surprised suddenly that even Dennis got triggered and started to look for Dahlia.

"She... is in her house right now."

Dennis said. With no time to plan of going together to the same place. P went out as fast as she can to Dahlia's house.

"Why is she in a hurry?" Dennis asked.

"She must had made something for Dahlia to try out!" Spike said.

With nothing else to do right now. They decided to go to Dahlia's house to see what's happening. By the time they managed to get a step outside. They all saw something fly past by that was shaped as giant bird. It moved so fast that no one couldn't tell how it was. But Dennis felt the presence of a ns heading out of the town.

"What's an ns doing in a place like this? This makes the second ns that we find in a row." Dennis said.

"What's an ns?" They all asked.

"I guess I can explain a tiny bit..."

Along the way to Dahlia's house. Dennis explained what was an ns. As it explained the definition of the ns that stands for nightmare shadows. He told them of his encounters of the ns in his world and that it could brake the peace that this world had if something isn't done about it.
