The arrival

Back at the Celestian kingdom. Claire flew the ship nearby the castle. She was looking for a proper place to land and it was hard to see at dark.

"Hey, is there a good place to land nearby?"

Claire asked. The only that approached was Dennis, and he was pointing to the training grounds.

"You can land the ship over there."

Dennis said. Claire then landed the ship on the training grounds and everyone got off the ship.

"You should all stay the night here. You all seem mostly exhausted..."

Celeste said. She then looked over at Dennis that was having trouble staying awake.

"Dude, are you okay?"

Dj asked after Dennis was leaning on to him.

"I'm fine... I just need to lie down..."

Dennis said. He then passed out on to Dj's arms.

"What happened to him?"

Celeste asked. She wanted to know everything that happened over by Retronia. Sally was the only one to approach Celeste while heading into the castle. Everyone else went to the bedrooms.

"I guess I can explain most of the things... So... We had a bit of dilemma... There was an exact copy of Dennis that is like a ns. They were calling it a mimic at start but then it was called copycat. They as well fought Mecha and Rampage that got turned for a moment and we encountered a Cerberus. Not the real one."

"Seems to me that you guys where dealing with a lot."

"Yea... And the worst of all... People were turned into ns... But i doubt it will happen again..."

Sally said. She then called it a night and went to her sleeping quarters while Celeste went into her royal bedroom to sleep.

Meanwhile, in the normal bedrooms. Dj was placing Dennis on the bead and was looking for something. On his search, Claire entered and saw him looking around the cabinets.

"What you looking for, Dj?"

"Just checking if this had something to help, Dennis. I have noticed that his energy is low, and it surprises me he could fight in such condition, even if you healed him."

Dj said. He then grabbed a chair and sat on it while Claire was sitting next to Dennis.

"I know... And I wish I could have done more. But from now on, I won't let him fight by himself."

"What do you mean? He never was fighting by himself."

Claire shakes her head after hearing Dj.

"He was. Have you noticed that in all the fights, he was the only one that was putting himself on the line for our sake. The three of us may have history, but we have forgotten everything, and it hurts... Dennis has caught up quickly with his memory, but you and I haven't. So tell me Dj. Do you want to be his burden forever? Or you want to fight alongside him?"

Dj then gave it a thought. It was a critical decision for him. From everything that he has experienced and seen. There was only one choice for him.

"If you going to say it like that... Then I will fight alongside Dennis. Not as a friend, but as a brother."

At that time, Dj could remember the first time he met Dennis. It took 4 years ago. On sunny day near the household. Dennis was walking to the house with Celeste until he came out of a bush. He remembers the smile that Dennis gave him that filled him with confidence.

"I got to at least pay up for what Dennis gave me."

"And was that?"

Claire asked.

"Well... He was the one that gave me a purpose in this world. So I will do anything that I can to help Dennis stop Ragnarok."

Dj said. He then was smiling with confidence until Nidializ entered the room.

"Nidializ?"

Dj and Claire said her name at the same time. She seemed to be worried about something.

"You guys better look at this..."

Nidializ said. She then showed her phone to Claire and Dj and they were in shock. A video was being transmitted live from the other world. It was taking place over at X's house.

"What in the goddamn world is going on?"

Dj asked himself. They then saw torches, pitch forks and crosses being placed on the front of the house. After that, a man that was part of the news was standing in front of the camera with a mic in hand.

"This just in, people have been disappearing none stop. There are reports about these seven individuals that where staying in this house where gone for about weeks. The owner of the house was a man named X, there is no other to it and we all suspect that he may have kidnapped them."

The news reporter said. Then a picture of Nidializ, Owen, Dwight, Donte, Dj, Claire and Dennis was showed in the screen with their eyes covered in a black line.

"This is messed up, but we can't just sit here and do nothing!"

Dj said. He was already mad at how everything was being falsified. But his sudden shout has woken up Dennis from his moment rest.

"Keep it down will ya...?"

Dennis said. He had his eyes closed so he couldn't see what was going on. Claire was handing him his glasses as he was opening his eyes.

"Thanks..."

"Dennis, look at this."

Nidializ then showed the video to Dennis. It did not surprise him by the outcomes, but he had in mind that something else was missing. He focused his eyesight at the window in the video and saw something move quickly.

"First the eclipse... Then Farion... and now false reports... Us staying here was the best option..."

"What do you mean?"

Nidializ asked. Dennis then took off his glasses to allow his eyesight to refocus, then his left eye was glowing after having a terrible feeling.

"If you think about it. We would have been dealing with a sea of darkness if we hadn't left... In other words, every living soul back home has become a ns or has built up a resistance to fight back against the ns, and we are just being placed as victims."

"Honestly, this seems to play in our favor. If we stayed, we would have been destroyed."

Dj said. He seemed to understand what Dennis was saying, but that was just the surface of it.

"Your wrong. If we have stayed, would have gone through a lot worse of being destroyed... We would have been erased..."

"Explain."

"The ns that we found in this world travel from here to ours. If a person gets turned, they join their ranks. If someone has had a nightmare... it makes even more ns... All in the will of Ragnarok..."

At the moment that Dennis called out Ragnarok's name. Everyone felt as if a chain was being broken somewhere around the world. They imaged it on their minds and they were fearing for the worst to come. After a moment of silence, everyone went to their separate rooms, but Claire stayed with Dennis for the entire night.

"So... what should we do...?"

Claire asked Dennis after getting on the bed. She then laid down next to him and was holding him on his left side.

"We can decide that tomorrow... For now we should rest, especially you."

"Guess you 're right..."

"Either way... I got a few things to sort out before things get serious again..."

After that. Dennis and Claire went to sleep, waiting it out till the next day.
