53 Operation control X (part 9)

Dennis and F were in a hurry to find X. As they moved by the rooftops. Dennis was confused about something after seeing Mecha being defeated by Neko D that F noticed it and asked away.

[F] "What's bothering you?"

[Dennis] "Well... Is it weird that we are not hearing or seeing a single explosion? It was like an entire standstill."

F stopped and grabbed Dennis's arm to focus on that topic.

[F] "Wait, before we continue. Do you sense any life or energy/powers around you?"

[Dennis] "Nope, I can only sense the ns. Right now the dragon just left this area of the kingdom heading overseas..."

F eyes widen up after hearing Dennis. He was in shock that Dennis could only sense the ns but not life.

[F] "Dennis, you should be able to sense everyone right now, unless you can't cause your.... Oh...."

F realized why Dennis couldn't sense nobody. He brought Dennis close to his body, F wanted to know if Dennis's body was cold. And as he suspected, Dennis body was stiff as ice. It was hard to notice at first, but as soon as he suspected it. F finally understood what's going on with Dennis's body.

[F] "Dennis... Are you by any chance feeling like you don't have a heart?"

[Dennis] "What are you talking about? I am fine, there is nothing wrong with me so lets just go... We already here anyway."

Dennis pointed out as they noticed X waiting. They jumped off the building and landed on their feet with feeling any impact shock. Suddenly, Heartless came out of Dennis's body.

[Heartless] "Alright, that was the greatest nap I had on my life."

Heartless was stretching out on the back and was ready to activate a barrier for the safety of everyone else.

[F] "Hey, did you hear the conversation between me and Dennis?"

[Heartless] "Yea, but if you are going to ask if I have to do something with it then no."

Heartless gave his response as simple as it can go. F scratched the back of his head since this was going to be a problem soon. But he put his attention at Dennis when the atmosphere changed around them.

[Dennis] "Heartless, make the barrier!!"

Dennis yelled at Heartless, forcing him to activate his barrier now so that no one else can get in or out. Heartless understood why and didn't bother to ask once everyone else saw the barrier. Dennis turned around and saw blue lightning come out from the ground. It grabbed everyone that was outside and locked them in place. Then he realized that this was X's doing.

[Dennis] "X... I guess is time for the plan to unfold?"

Dennis turned around and saw that X was holding the device he gave to him. He saw that X's eyes were normal, but he felt that something was wrong.

[X] "I don't be needing this."

X broke the device with his own hands. Then his eyes glowed. It wasn't the color red from the time he kidnapped Heart and Kiri. Dennis was about to make his move, but X instantly appeared in front of Dennis and punched him hard on the face. He crashed with the barrier and got back up.

[Dennis] "That's it... I'm going to kill him..."

Dennis left eye glowed. His left arm was covered in black flames, but Dennis felt something going on with his right arm. F noticed and stepped in, but Dennis extended his right arm. Showing that he has it under control.

[F] "Dennis, show him what your truly made of!!"

With F's words. Dennis right arm started to release a black mist. As the area inside the barrier got colder. It made F realize what was he was reading off of Dennis awhile back. X's hands got covered with blue lightning and walked towards Dennis.

[Dennis & X] "Do or die."

They both went at each other. As X had his right fist ready, Dennis copied him and went for it. Before there fists could clash. Dennis right arm got covered with black-colored ice that made X's electrical punch bounce back. But in comparison of strength, X had the upper hand and sent Dennis flying. Dennis took this opportunity that he was in the air to make a fireball, then he froze it and threw it at X.

[X] "New trick? As it would work!"

X sent one punch into the air that destroyed Dennis's attacks on contact. But Dennis was gone from the other side. He was looking around, but he could only see were Heartless and F smiling at him. But X began to hear faint footsteps approaching behind him, so he turned around in a hurry. And in disappointment, no one was behind him.

[X] "Wait..."

X realized that Dennis used another move on him. He turned around and saw Dennis with his right fist closed, building enough power to end the fight with the next strike. The glow on Dennis's left eye intensified that allowed him to build more power. And it was it calling out the attention of Farion that was still dormant and something sinister that was lingering around.

[Dennis] "X, don't hold back on me now. All of this fighting seemed to short. I want to get motivated before I square off with Farion!"

Dennis got hyped up. X understood why Dennis wanted to fight so badly, but he felt like he already gave it his all.

[X] "Then I shall hit you with my strongest..."

X build up his power quickly and pointed his left hand at Dennis. As his hand was charging up an energy ball that could destroy anything that it touches. Dennis saw an opening and went straight at X with no hesitation. When Dennis got close, he came in with a kick that contacted X's face that made him fly off into the barrier that was near a building. But it wasn't enough to stop X from charging his attack. Dennis passed some of his black flames on to his right arm to boost his last move to end this fight, and at the same time, X was done as well.

[Dennis] "Here goes nothing..."

Dennis closed his eyes as he felt X use his move.

[X] "Gigavolt impact!!"

X released his move. It sent a significant amount of electricity that was going straight at Dennis.

[Dennis] "Nova frost rose..."

Dennis took a small swing with his right hand before X's attack could make contact. It stopped right in front of Dennis face and it got covered in black ice shaped as roses. Once it reached the other end, black flames ignited on the ice roses and melted them away along. Leaving no trace behind of both moves.

[X] 'I'm impressed. You recovered two elements, but why is it black?"

[Dennis] "I would like to know as well, but we don't have time for that."

X let go of everyone while Heartless took off the barrier. Everyone was confused on what's going on. Dennis went to his friends to explain what's going on. They all looked at him, furious and disappointed.

[Dennis] "You see... This was the only way to get under the radar and get away as possible from Selest..."

X stepped in since he need to explain as well the situation.

[X] "And we wanted to take out Farion before its to late. Kiri and Heart are safe at the house. Also, Paige, get them out of here pronto."

[Paige] "Sure thing."

Paige pulled out her whip and tied all of her friends except Dennis and his other versions.

[Dj] "Sweet heart, why are you doing this?"

[Nidializ, Owen & Dwight] "Sweet heart!?!"

[Paige] "Sorry, but orders are orders if they come from the director."

X tossed a transporter device to Paige, and she pressed it immediately and left with everyone that got tied up.

[F] "I guess we need a break before we take on Farion..."

F snapped his fingers and stopped the flow of time around him. Making the place perfect to rest without wasting time. Everyone that got in a fight made sure what they need to do before heading on, but the ones that used a lot of power just lay down and went to sleep.
