Rogue plan

I really did forget about all my troubles, I found my mate, I'm going to a normal high school having friends, and overall I'm really happy. It's just Esmon is telling me something bad is going to happen. I haven't heard my wolf and dragon fighting in a while. But Esmon said to me today it's just the calm before the storm.

Esmon always warned me when something bad was going to happen. That's basically his only good quality.

I'm in the school library for a break when Peyton comes up to me. No bodyguards today. He asked looking around. No, because of the rogue incident that happened, Damien needed them to guard the people. What about you then? Your mate!

It doesn't matter to me, more people can be saved this way. Don't worry about it. More freedom for me. I said smiling.

Then why did you have a worried face on just now then? Hmm, I have to tell Damien something, but I'm too afraid he won't accept me after he learns about it.

What's wrong with you? Have ticks or something? He asked suppressing his laugh. I kicked him in to see the table. No! I...need to tell him im...half...dragon. I whispered the last part. I glanced at Peyton. I would have laughed at him because he had his mouth hanging open and his eyes were really big, but I was too worried he would stop being my friend. Hahahaha! He burst in laughter and now it was my turn to look at him in surprise. Don't worry. He said in between laughs. Why? Does he already know?! No, no, he doesn't, I don't think at least, but our alpha isn't like that. He judges people if they are good or bad, not on their origin. Peyton did make me worry less, but it wasn't for sure if Damien could accept me.

At the end of the day

I was waiting for my mate as usual, but the car that pulled up in front of me was Cody's. Not my mates.

I tapped on the window, and Cody rolled it down. Where's Damien? He went out to deal with the rogues.

Why didn't he tell me? I asked in disappointment. It was urgent, but he left you a note. He handed me a teal envelope that had a Damiens symbol on the wax seal.

Luna, can you please get in the car so we can go back to the packhouse? Cody interrupted me before I could open the letter. Y-yes sorry I forgot. I sat in the back seat and read the letter.

The rogues got out and attacked our people again. The warriors and me are going on with the plan you talked about. But, I'll be the bait. I didn't want to lie to you, but don't worry, you know how strong I am in bed. Anyways I'll see you in about two weeks, love you, and be safe.
