Giran Giran Giran.

Rui Hachimura. A name feared throughout Earth by some, admired greatly by others. While both sides may battle back and forth between who that boy truly represents, both mutually agree that he is frightening. As a disciple of the Hero Hunter, it was no doubt he shared the same sentiments and skills.

A swift chop from him can result in you knocked out cold; and if he were to hit any harder, you were dead. Jumping between buildings at blistering speeds, no eye could track him down. A nose more sensitive than a dog's, escaping from him seems like a pipe dream. It was rumored that if he registered as a hero, he would definitely be in class-S.

However, he did not register as a hero. He felt that heroes shouldn't be heroes if they have to go through an exam, much less having popularity playing a part in it. It seemed fake. It is fake. Heroes are heroes because they save humans from peril. In his mind, anyone is a hero. Saving a friend from suicide? Hero. Guiding someone not to take drugs? Hero.

No one should have to go through a grueling physical exam to be classified a hero.

A hero does not need to take down monsters. All they have to do is save another person and they are.

But it does not matter now does it? No one listens to the dead.

He feels at ease as a comforting blanket covers him. It is light and fluffy like a marshmallow. Rui Hachimura opens his eyes, and realizes he is in an alley. Mossy walls surround him at all sides. Revolting smell of the trash impede on his sense, making him gag. He slowly stands up and his ears picks up a conversation.

"Alright man, I get it. Just make sure the money is there ya?" a husky voice said. It is clear this man smoked one too many cigarettes in his life.

"Yes. It is. I, Giran never back down from my promises!" Giran claims.

Intrigued, Rui careens towards the conversation. Clearly, a transaction had been made in a shady alleyway. In a mere half a second, he appeared nearby the two man in the shadows. But that did not seem to be enough as the man not named Giran called him out.

Though it was a half-hearted attempt to hide, Rui was impressed. That man must have some keen senses.

"Consider me impressed. What are you doing here?" Rui asks.

"Nonya business!" he said as he swiftly dashed to Rui.

He smirks as the man thinks he is about to slam an unknown hero but Rui disappears and in his place was Giran. The man halts his hand, and thanks his quirk, Sensory Overload, that he did not just kill his employer. The man turns around to see Rui with his hands in his pockets.

Rui thought that man was too slow. He himself was causally supersonic. An attack of that magnitude was too inferior to deal with physically and decided to use his power he got as a child, Switch. Within his eyesight, he could switch the positions of himself and another object or two other objects with one another. Garou had taught him how to use it masterfully.

Just as Rui turns his body to see the man's hand near his face, Rui grabs the man's neck and smashes it.

"Back up your talk," Rui states to the now dead man.

Behind was still Giran, who had now found his new golden egg. A man that skillful had taken his second-best client like it was nothing! As his eyes glimmer in dollar signs, he approaches the mysterious man with hopes to hire him for the assassination job.

Rui spots a man waddling to him and wonders if he should take him out too but senses no intent to harm and retracts that thought.

"You…you! How about an assassination job ah?" Giran asks.

"Assassination? Who are you and why?" Rui shot back.

"My name is Giran and I am a broker. I get deals such as assassination and the likes and give them to my clients in a fifty-fifty deal. What say huh?" he explains.

"How much is in for me?"

"Six hundred thousand yen! So how about it?"

That was a monstrous amount of money for the 17-year-old boy.

"Yeah sure, I'll take it. But you do know who I am right?" Rui asks.

"No I don't, but I don't care, your name is going to be big in the underworld!"

That was off. Rui was the underworld. Heroes and monsters and villains and dogs alike knew of his presence but this broker did not know of him?

A feeling swirl in him. He finds it too ridiculous but he has to try.

"Anyway, where am I right now?" Rui asks.

"In Yokohama my good sir," he replies promptly.

He pauses, then asks another question.

"What city?"

"Yokohama? I've said it just now," Giran answers him again.

At this point, Giran wonders if he had accidentally hired a fluke or not.

Rui thinks that stands for Y-City but he has lived in Y-City all his life and has not once heard of Yokohama City being used in place of Y-City. But he disregards that thought for now. An assassination job with an amazing pay is coming.
