Chapter 56-[An old friend?]

Rikkon looked at Robb, while he waited a few meters away, his sword raised, a smile on his face.

The boy glared at his brother, and with his blades emanating white smoke as they moved.

The boy had advanced to level nine and reached his fifth level and had three skill points.

He felt frustrated, in his alone moments with Osha. He dedicated himself to training, facing enemies and now they only used him as a messenger.

He couldn't be at the battle of Winterfell, he couldn't go beyond the wall with Bran, he wasn't a child who deserved protection.

He was able to protect himself.

Even according to the stories, his sisters told him, both Jon, Sansa, and Arya had wars.

He also wants to participate.

To avenge his mother.

His father.

Bring glory to the north.

Robb on the other hand had no intention of letting him go.

Unlike Bran, Arya, or Sansa, the king of the north could control his younger brother, Rikkon's frustration was understandable.

The boy approached with haste and used his blades with speed.

But he was no match for Robb, with more experience than him in combat.

His sword, made of Valyrian steel, parried every blow, the ice aura on his blades extinguished by the fire aura on Robb's sword.

Rikkon had never trained with a weapons master, like Robb or Jon, his style was self-taught.

He had no discipline.

Robb had a goofy smile on his face, teasing his little brother.

The wolf blood in the child roared.

"Let's go Rikkon! Kick his ass! Jon would do it in half a second! " the boy heard Arya who was supporting him on one side of the combat zone.

Robb frowned.

Arya had taken to reminding him of his inferiority to Jon.

She really did it every time she could.

Robb was sure it was on purpose.

His younger sister greatly enjoyed provoking him since she arrived at Winterfell, not that he feels any annoyance for Jon, but after so many battles, the boy felt too confident in himself with his new abilities, now if his sister tells him after that he is inferior to his bastard brother.

Well, it's normal for him to get upset.

"Don't be afraid if you hurt him, I'll heal him!" He listened to Sansa.

The boy turned slightly to Arya, Sansa, and a group of Northerners, who seemed to begin to worship her.

Robb was greatly surprised by her skills as a healer, Talisa was nothing compared to Sansa in power, the girl dreaming of princes, knights, and castle who had been his younger sister, had become a woman, with her own army, being revered throughout Essos, and possessed powers beyond comprehension.

Heal any wound.

Recover from exhaustion.

Reattach limbs.

Cure diseases.

Create magical shields.

She was undoubtedly one of the Starks, the one who had the greatest evolution.

Robb knew that Arya was powerful too, an elite assassin. But Sansa could recover an entire army after a battle, in a war that was more useful than killing any general. Next to her four Direwolves were sitting on their paws watching the fight.

Gray Wind, Nymeria, Shaggy, and Summer watched the two's movements carefully and groaned when they saw Rikkon's blades collide with Ice.

Robb distractedly did not notice Rikkon approach and throw a stab.

The boy jumped back, and cursed his distraction.

"Oh, the king of the north is distracted. What a shame" He heard.

Robb looked at the sky annoyed.

Bran levitated a few meters above Arya, looking at him with amusement.

He liked to do that.

Even though he can now walk again.

The boy kept levitating himself.

Robb considered it a waste of mana.

But Bran seemed to like flying.

He always liked heights, climbing roofs, and things like that.

A laugh was heard, and the boy looked at his wife with his son in her arms, looking at him with amusement.

Next to him Dacey and Val sat with raised eyebrows.

Lyanna Mormont who arrived with Rikkon looked at everything without surprise and said crude words to Rikkon.

"Come on Stark! That's all you have!?" the boy heard, much to his amusement.

"I guess it's time to finish," he said.

Rikkon frowned.

"I'll say when we're done," he said.

Robb looked at him amused.

"We see what you think of this...Haste" he whispered.

Rikkon frowned, and gasped, Robb's movement was very fast, in a second he was in front of him, and he closed the distance in a second.

His sword moved so fast that it reached the boy's neck without him being able to avoid it.

"Do you give up?" Robb asked.

"NO!" he said.

The king of the north raised an eyebrow and brought the sword closer to his neck.

"Do you give up?" he asked again.

Rikkon remained silent.

"It's not fair," he stammered.

Robb smiled and stroked his hair.

"You weren't bad," he said with a smile when he felt the edge of a blade on his throat.

"What?" he whispered.

He didn't see anyone.

"Do you give up?" He heard a voice.

The boy sighed.

"Arya...Don't get involved," he murmured.

"You lost against Arya. If I beat her, it's like beating you," Rikkon said, taking a step back and putting himself on guard.

Suddenly he felt a blow to the head that made him fall to the ground.

"AU" the boy muttered in pain, touching his head.

"Can you win against me, Pup?" Arya said annoyed, appearing in front of him with her hand raised.

Sansa watched everything with an amused look.

'Maybe this is the last moments of fun?' She thought melancholy.

The next day Arya would march towards the twins, preparing to eliminate the Frey, Robb told her that she should wait for the army to be ready.

But Arya replied that she had her way of doing things, and Robb literally couldn't stop her.

The boy knew it was true.

How to stop someone who can cross through stone walls?

It was impossible, literally.

It wouldn't help to tie her up.

Lock her up.

Or beg her.

The only thing that served him so far to keep the wolf in Winterfell was the excuse of preparing the army, and being able to train with them.

She spent time with Brienne Tarth, a female warrior, who joined them, she was from Renly's army, and she had decided to join the north at Stannis' request. Robb did not know exactly what relationship she had with Stannis, but the woman was strong. , and Arya got along well with her.

Brienne arrived with her squire, who came from the King's Landing, yet they didn't look like spies and her squire was a normal boy, very kind and somewhat self-conscious. According to Robb, the woman witnessed Renly's death. After that, her mother asked her to save her daughters (Arya specifically, since at that time, Sansa had already been rescued), she tried, but failed, she spent a time at King's landing, when the war against Renly ended and a certain Podrick Payne took his squire. Robb suspected at first that the boy was a Lannister spy, but then he denied it, seeing him so self-conscious.

The woman placed herself at the king's command and became Sansa's defender, who welcomed her with a kind smile and Brienne Tarth seemed most satisfied with her.

Sansa also brought with her her phoenix, the bird had endeared itself to the children there, they had never seen a firebird after all.

An important point as to why Arya was in a hurry to leave Winterfell was that Jon sent a letter, and another phoenix brought it, Arya presumed that these birds were fast, since they could come from Valyria without resting (Or at least that's what she presumed) and in she could appreciate the news.

The birth of Jon's son, Jaehaerys Targaryen. In addition to his withdrawal from Valyria with a force of five hundred warships, and about six thousand men.

"If Jon comes to Westeros, he would not leave any enemy alive, I must hurry," Arya demanded of Robb, fearing that her brother would steal her revenge from him.

The king of the north sighed when he heard her.

"Be careful," had been his plea.

Sansa rode with her men.

Beside her, Robb headed north.

They reunify with the rest of his army at Moat Cailin.

The Black Fish was waiting for them there.

The two firebirds, the one Sansa named after her familiar. The other one sent by Jon with a message seemed very happy with them.

Or perhaps on Jon's orders.

Sansa wasn't sure.

At Winterfell, she reunited with her best friend.

Jeyne Poole.

Sansa felt sorry for the injustices that her best friend had to go through, she mentally thanked Theon for saving her.

The girl used her magic on her best friend.

Regen so the marks that Ramsay Snow had made could disappear.

Cure Mind made the mental stigmata that the girl had with her disappear, although she could not erase them, she did relax the girl's mind so that she could move on.

She also used Cure Mind on Hodor, the half-giant could now talk more than her name, although her kind attitude remained the same, and she didn't talk much.

Rikkon was with the men behind them, finally, the boy was able to convince Robb to participate in the battle.

Although it took a long time.

But he had the support of Bran and Arya.

"A wolf does not stay in the den while his pack goes hunting" Arya had told him.

Robb finally accepted.

Bran and his wildlings were at the back of the army, looking eager to go into battle.

Meera was riding alongside her husband.

They had sent a letter to the girl's father, who would take his men to Moat Cailin.

She expected them to arrive at the same time.

There was no news from Jon, but it was acceptable since the boy was planning a silent attack.

Where?

They weren't sure.

Jon had only told his sisters that he would attack between the stones.

Whatever that means.

Robb seemed to suspect the place, because he didn't say anything after receiving the message.

Sansa and Arya looked confused at the clue but did not demand to know.

Arya had left a few days ago by boat. From the west of Winterfell, it would take her a while to reach White Harbor, after being manipulated by Robb.

Talisa stayed in Winterfell with men to defend her.

Robb did not want to risk his son, although he would go to Moat Cailin, after the battle with the twins is over.

Robb also sent a letter with Ser Davos to Stannis's queen in Storm's End, informing her of his intentions.

He had an alliance with Stannis, even if he had fallen, Robb would respect his alliance, and would take the Baratheons, the queen, and princess as allies.

He knew that Stannis intended to have Bran or Rikkon marry the princess.

Robb planned to follow that same path.

Shireen would be Rikkon's wife or Bran's second wife, the boy was not sure. There was a possibility that when the White Walkers were destroyed the true North would be colonized since all of the free people left alive had joined the North.

Rikkon or Bran would take a knee, there to become lords.

With Jon's help and resources, along with the northerners, Robb planned to set up a couple of cities, and a large market.

Of course all this after the war against the Lannisters and the others.

The threat of the Tyrells was something that bothered Robb, the Lannister/Tyrell union due to the engagement of Joffrey and Margaery was something that made him very uncomfortable.

The domain had many houses with great soldiers, not counting the resources of money and food they possessed.

Robb shook his head.

He couldn't get distracted.

"One enemy at a time," he thought.

Once the Freys were finished and the Tullys put back in charge of the Riverland, he would get soldiers and resources.

Jon sent enough to end the war.

But Robb wouldn't use everything, he required leaving supplies in the north. He had already been with Sansa for weeks organizing things, he could feed the entire north for a year, but just that, if the war lasted much longer, he would be in trouble.

He didn't like to admit it.

But Little Jon Umber had been somewhat right about that.

His wolf looked at him when he saw him distracted.

Robb smiled at him. He looked ahead and prepared himself.

There was the possibility that Jon would bring more resources, but Robb had to manage everything with what he had, he couldn't depend on his brother for everything, and with the resources given he could feed the north for a year and rebuild his castles and roads.

But he made it look bad to the northerners, the need for foreign people to help him.

Requiring that they be allies by blood. If the king of the north couldn't hold the north, he made it look weak.

When Jon attacks alone he will make that weakness more visible.

So it depended on Robb to do a good job with the resources he had, or his failure as king of the north would be a given.

Arya sighed as she got off the ship.

She was in White Harbor.

Robb had been the one with the idea that she would get there faster by boat than on horseback.

Of course, it was a plan for her to stay a few more days and have his army ready.

Arya fell for the plan.

When she noticed what Robb was up to.

It was late.

His army was complete.

Robb had a satisfied smile seeing her frustrated.

Sansa looked at her with mock pity.

Which only made her angrier.

The girl shook her head as she remembered the situation, only saying goodbye to her nephew calmed her down, little Nedd had taken Arya's heart, the assassin couldn't stop spoiling him, even more than Sansa.

'What can I do if he is so cute?' she thought.

The memory of her nephew made her get rid of the bad taste in her mouth that she got when she remembered Robb's manipulation, and Sansa's attitude.

"Jon was more understandable," she muttered, getting off the boat.

She continued on her way through the port.

She hoped Robb hadn't told the local lord.

She swore that if she saw any lord asking her to stay or offer her an army, she would cut his throat.

Allies or not.

The girl sighed, she walked through the premises in search of a smithy, her Valyrian steel sword and dagger did not need sharpening, but her throwing knives were somewhat damaged, and she needed to buy a couple more.

She continued on her way and saw the smithy a few meters away.

"Yeah? " asked the man in the store.

She recognized him

"Gendry?" she asked.

The boy saw her and was surprised.

"Arya?"
