MC POV:

After losing consciousness i was once again back in the void. But i didn't stay here for long this time. As i woke up, i looked around. I was in some kind of warehouse. It looked very old. Slowly getting up i started looking around. In the warehouse, there was a single bed, a table and a chair and nothing else but dust everywhere. This place probably wasn't cleaned in years. But the bed, table and chair looked new and clean. Maybe those were a gift from ROB.

As i was wondering about this i suddenly heard a sound. It was a beautiful female voice. The sound was soothing to my mind. It was like the voice of a very nice singer. It was the system's voice. I like it.

[Ding. Host has successfully arrived in his new world. Starting the system installation process!]

[Host will go unconscious during the process. Please sit down somewhere comfortable]

"Ok. I will lay down on the bed." I said as i went towards the bed and laid down. And i lost consciousness once again.

When i woke up again i heard the system's voice once again.

[Ding! The installation process was successful. Welcome to the new world Host. You have a Beginner's gift pack. Would you like to open it?]

"Yes. Please open it." I said.

"Hmm, i under stand the steel sword. The Beginner's outfit probably are clothes with a small amount of defence. And the shop coins are probably what i would use to buy anything in the shop. But what's the card. System can you explain?"

[The card gives the user a random skill. It can be anything from dish washing to True magic, depending on the card rank. There are also 2 types of cards, one which is temporary and one which is permanent. If you use a temporary card, you will gain a skill for only a limited amount of time. After the time is over you can't use the use the skill anymore. But don't worry, once you have used a temporary skill card, it becomes available in the shop so that you can buy it for permanent use.]

"Oh, i understand. And where do i gain those temporary or permanent cards? And what are the ranks?"

[Host can gain cards by pulling the lottery. You get 1 free pull everyday. The cards gained from the lottery has a 1% chance to be a permanent card. You can also gain more draws from completing quests. And the ranks are- Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic and Legendary.]

"Okay, i understand. System please open the Lottery menu." I asked. I was interested in this lottery as i didn't request for this. But it's not a bad thing to gain. After the system took me to the lottery menu, i looked for what was available and what the probability was for higher ranked cards.

The rates were pretty bad, as expected. For legendary, it was only 0.1%. "Would i ever even get a Legendary card?" I wondered. For epic it was 2.9%. Rare was 7%. Uncommon was 20% and then common was 70%.

It looked really bad. "I just hope there are good things in Common and Uncommon cards"

Anyway i haven't even seen the status menu till now. I need to see what kind of stats i have. "Open Status" I said and my status menu popped up in front of me. It looked like-

Gamer's Body(Passive) : Grants a body that allows for the user to live the real world like a game. (Host receives no physical damage from attacks only pain for a few seconds and a loss of HP). After sleeping in a bed, it restores HP, MP and cures all status effects.

[ Strength : determines how hard you can hit physically and how much weight you can lift

Vitality : determines your heath and health regeneration

Dexterity : determines your speed and reaction time

Intelligence : determines your thinking and learning speed as well as your mana capacity.

Wisdom : determines your mana regeneration and ability to make wise decision during tough times.

HP Regeneration : Vitality x1 per minute

MP Regeneration : Wisdom x1 per minute]

"Well, those skills are a suprise, but a welcome one. I didn't ask for those skills but they are very helpful. How can i call myself a Gamer if i don't have those skills. Anyway only having 2 passive skills fells bad. I need to get new skills and get to grinding in the dungeon."

I need to visit the dungeon pretty soon. Those stats are not gonna help me survive in Overlord. So first i need skills to help me fight.

Seeing that i had 1 chance to pull on the lottery everyday, I decide to use today's chance now. As I pressed the pull button, suddenly a huge box appeared in front of me and started shaking. After a few seconds, the box spit out a card. It was a uncommon trial card. I guess it was not that bad.

I wanted to use both my cards now, but since it was a trial card, I decided to use it later. I might need a power up if i am in some kind of danger. So i just used my permanent card that i got in the gift pack. The skill i got was so unexpected i was shocked. It was....
