Chapter 7

"System!"

Jason said in his mind, hoping to see if the system that was given to him respond. However, no matter how many times he tried, the system never responded his callings.

"FUCK! What is the fucking point in having a system if you are not going to help or do something at all!"

Jason shout inside in his mind. He was truly annoyed and angry as the "cheat" that he received happened to be nothing more than a mere decoration.

"Son! I'm back"

A loud but cheerful voice sounded in Jason ears, causing him to stop thinking about the system. Jason looked towards the owner of the voice and saw Oberyn entering his tent.

"DADDY!"

Said Jason with an excited voice. Even though Jason himself didn't like to talk like a child, he had no other choice.

"Alexander, I got your nameday present!"

Full of smiles Oberyn said to Jason.

"give me give me give me"

Said Jason extremely excited wondering what was the present that the Red viper had for him.

"Here, have it son. I hope you like it"

While saying that Oberyn took from his back a little wooden spear made to size Jason size. The spear head or tip wasn't sharp in order to avoid Jason getting hurt by it and also was engraved with the Martell´s emblem all over the spear.

"What a beautiful wooden spear."

Thought Jason to himself while looking at the spear that Oberyn bought for him. However, the moment Jason touched the spear something that surprised him happened.

"YES YES YES YES YES!"

Said Jason in his mind excited that his "useless" system finally did something. He was truly happy as before this event he was wondering if his "system" was just an illusion that he had or not.

"Thank you, Dad."

Said Jason with a happy and loud voice while hugging Oberyn. Oberyn returned the hug and saw Jason with a smile on his face.

"You're welcome Alexander."

"So, dad will teach me how to use the spear?"

Said Jason while looking at Oberyn with pitiful eyes in order to convince him to teach him how to use the spear.

"Whatever you want son, whatever you want if I can do it, I will do it."

Oberyn said to Jason while patting his head with his hand. Oberyn response made Jason happy as he knew that being trained or at least taught by one of the most well-known warriors in Game of Thrones would be beneficial to him in a lot of ways. However, Jason happiness was interrupted by a sudden voice coming from the other person inside the tent.

"What the fuck are you saying Oberyn? Are you really going to teach a child like Alexander how to use the spear?"

Eric said with a serious tone towards Oberyn, not believing what Oberyn just said.

"What's the problem brother? If my son wants to learn it, then as his father I should teach him."

Oberyn responded to Eric with his usual carefree tone.

"No, No, Oberyn brother, that's not what I meant. What I wanted to say is that is cra-"

Eric said to Oberyn. Trying to convince his brother that it was ridiculous to teach a baby that was just one year old how to use the spear. However, he stopped after looking at Oberyn's face as he knew that no matter what he said, Oberyn was still going to do it.

Six months later.

Jason was training the basics of the spear inside the tent. During this whole period Oberyn just trained him the basics. Different from his usual self, when it came to teaching Oberyn was extremely strict with Jason not allowing even a single mistake in the timing, posture, angle, etc. Even though some may say that six months learning something as the basics was too long. However, Jason being a child meant that he couldn't train for a long time as he was still a child, besides learning something and mastering it was different.

A couple hours later Jason stopped training because of the message that came to his mind.

Seeing this message Jason dropped in his knees. This however, caused Oberyn who was teaching him to be worried and surprised at this sudden act.

"Finally, after 6 long and exhausting months. I finally achieved."

Jason thought to himself without caring about the worried Obery by his side.

"Finally, Finally, Finally I can use my system. I truly hope that my summon turn to be somebody or something that can help me survive in this shitty situation that I am in."

Jason Said to himself. However, this happiness didn't last long as he now had another problem.

MC POV

Wait, how I'm supposed to use my summon if I can't go outside the tent and there is always watching me?

Summoning it while nobody is watching?

No, impossible even if they don't see me summoning it if they see my summon, they will kill it for sure.

Sneaking out for a while to summoning it?

Rejected. It is impossible to sneak out by how Oberyn and the others watch me.

The only way that I could summon it without they seeing me or trying to kill my summon is to be allowed to get outside the tent and then sneak out somewhere to use my summoning ticket. However, how I can make that happen?

Just when Jason started to think about any other solution to his problem. An option that he didn't thought about as it was too stupid came to his mind.

What if I just throw a tantrum?

Until now I haven't throwed a tantrum for anything in my life. So, if I do it now would Oberyn cede to my tantrum? I don't lose anything by trying.

"Dad, when I will be able to get outside?"

I said to Oberyn. This question however, surprised Oberyn to the point where his whole body shook for a moment.

"Son, not yet. It is dangerous outside."

With a troubled tone Obery replied.

"But you never allow me to get outside! I'm always here! I want to get outside!"

I said with a childish and annoyed voice to Oberyn.

"I know Son, but not yet."

Still Oberyn said without ceding at all.

Fuck. I will have to use that method. Even though I don't want to do it as he has been nice to me since I came to this world.

"You don't even tell me about my mother or why I can't go outside!"
