Chapter 2

"Welcome to Sunspear my lord!"

Said the captain. With a cheerful voice full of happiness. However, it didn't last long to Jason as the soldier holding Jason wrapped him in clothes again. However, this time he did not hold him on his arms as always, but he wrapped Jason on his back instead covering his whole body with making look Jason like a backpack. This made Jason confused as he didn't understand why the soldier did so. However, Jason didn't move or tried to get out as he knew that there was a reason behind this action. After the soldier wrapped Jason, He and company walked until they arrived at a gate that was guarded by Dorne soldiers.

"State your name and purpose!"

One of the guards shouted. Pointing at us with a suspicious expression.

"I'm Captain William, captain of the princess guards. We are survivors from the Lannister's attack. Here is the proof of my identity, the letter from our princess. Bring this letter to our prince and he will confirm our identity. However, don't you dare to read the letter."

Replied William with a firm voice. The guard took the letter and went inside the palace. Jason and company waited for a while until the guard came back and opened the gate. Once entering the palace Jason couldn't hold his curiosity and decided to move enough to be able to see, but not to the point where he could be seen.

He and company walked through the palace causing Jason to be dumbstruck by the beauty of the insides. The palace walls and ceiling had a lot of decoration patterns from many colors and gardens that were made from a lot of different types of flowers and trees. However, this place was not only beautiful but also secure because of the many guards that were inside it. Jason admired the beautiful sight of the interior as they walked through all the palace until they arrived at a gate.

The gate was made from wood and metal, decorated with the Martell house emblem and was guarded by 2 Dorian guards. Jason and company handed all type of weapons they had as they were asked to do so in order to enter. The door soon opened and let Jason and the team go inside of it, inside there were guards everywhere and even more luxurious and extravagant decorations than the other parts of the palace. However, even inside the one thing that stood out was the men sitting on what seemed to look like a chair which was guarded by 2 guards. Jason was surprised to see that this man was Doran Martell from Game of Thrones. Although the thing that surprised him the most was how he looked exactly like in the show but younger.

*So, I'm on the show version of Game of thrones. *

Muttered Jason to himself. Jason was relieved that he was on the show version of the story because at least he knew and watched the show not like the books.

"Are you the owner of the letter? "

Spoke the Doran. Asking the towards Jason and his team.

"Yes, my prince we are the owner of the letter"

Responded William with a respectful voice.

"Come in front of me. We have to talk about this letter and the one who wrote it."

William and company walked through all the guards and finally arrived in front of Doran.

"My princ-"

When William was about to talk he was interrupted by Doran.

"Wait, don't talk yet. Please guards call my brother."

Said Doran ordering William to stop talking and the other guards to call for his brother. This caused Jason and the team to wait in silence, something that not only made Jason worried but also the team. After a while the gate opened again and a man holding a spear walked in.

"Brother why did you call me?"

Jason saw the man and was happy and surprised to see Oberyn as he was one of his favorite characters on the show. Oberyn looked the same as his show version but younger. However, Jason saw how the usually happy and cheerful Oberyn looked tired and sad with bags under his eyes that indicated his lack of sleep.

"Oberyn, I called you because of some important matter. Now all guards leave us alone."

Said Doran ordering all the guards to leave.

"But my lord how can protect you then?"

One of the guards replied to Doran.

"My brother is here and I hope you know about his reputation as a warrior. Also, don't you dare to disobey your prince order again."

With a threatening voice Doran replied to the guard causing him to shut up. After this exchange of words all guards left the place leaving, Jason, the team, Oberyn, and Doran alone.

"Now, you may speak"

Said Doran. Finally, being allowed to speak William started to tell everything that happened until now. After finishing all the story the guard that was hiding Jason unwrapped him and held Jason on his arms. Oberyn came closer to the guard holding Jason and took him in his arm.

"Im really.... sorry. I couldn't even protect you or my sister."

Jason was surprised not because the words of Oberyn, but because he was crying while speaking to him.

"I was not able to save her, and I'm really sorry that now you don't have.... parents. However, now you are with me and I will make sure to protect you.... Even if that costs me my ....life."

Oberyn hands started to shake as his tears started to increase. Jason was touched by his words and actions as he didn't know that Oberyn actually loved his sister this much. With his shaking hands Oberyn started to touch Jason face.

"You are indentical to her except the...eyes."

Even though these words wouldn't mean anything to other people, Jason saw how Oberyn eyes and tone changed when he said the final word this sudden change made Jason scared as he saw the hatred and fury inside Oberyn's eyes and voice. The last word however shocked Doran and made him nervous.

"What do you mean by except the eyes Oberyn?"

Said Doran with a worried tone. Oberyn got close to Doran and handed Jason to him, Doran held Jason with his arm and started to look at Jason with a worried expression on his face for a few seconds.

"Did somebody saw his eyes?"

Asked Doran with a worried and fearful face and tone making Jason afraid as he didn't know what was the problem with not having his mother eyes.

"Yes, my Prince. The women who feed our little prince saw his eyes as it was inevitable."

Doran reaction made Oberyn confused for a few seconds until he realized what the problem was causing his expression to change into a worried one.
