Game of Thrones-The Black Lord

(Sequel To “For The Queen, Not The Prince”) It all started in Summerhall. Aegon The Unlikely’s attempt at resurrecting the Dragons was successful but at the cost of his life. The fire was able to be put out, not before it took Aegon V's life as well as his son, Ser Duncan The Tall, and a few rooms. Ever since then, the events that decide the fate of Westeros had vastly changed. Dragons had returned; it was said that during the night of the fire, a bright crimson comet was seen in the night sky. During the end of King Aerys’s reign, a Rebellion started. But it wasn’t started by Robert Baratheon due to Rhaegar’s actions. Robert instead fought for the Targaryens and was married to a Princess which resulted with them having a son, Rhaegon. Rhaegon Baratheon is the rider of Morghul, a massive Black Dragon that Hatched at the end of the Rebellion started by the River Dragon. He was not just named after the Dragon that was bound to Aegon III's first wife and cousin, Jaehera but because of Rhaegon's unique sense of humor as he inherited his mother's spirit. Red Sands IV

(Rhaegon's POV)

"There!" Obara shouted as she pointed past me and towards a large Dothraki camp

We were in the skies atop Morghul, where I reached the massive camp, dozens upon dozens of tents that were somehow set up so quickly.

"Tch...." I said, "How did they manage to build this entire place so quickly? These fucking savages do know what to do..."

"Are you going to burn them?" Obara asked me

"No all of them." I said as I steered Morghul to dive down, "I'm going to disrupt them, prevent them from running away. If I can cripple them, then that will give the rest of our forces an advantage."

"Morghul, Dive!" I commanded in High-Valyrian

Morghul let out a roar and dove down quickly. I felt Obara wrap her arms tightly around my waist as we quickly went down. I saw the ground quickly approach us as Morghul dove, the arid wind hitting us in the faces as Morghul let out another roar. On the ground, I saw several Dothraki beginning to scatter as I heard shouts.

I saw an opening outside of the camp, dozens of Dothraki going about. I decided to aim at them for the time being.

"Dracarys!"

Morghul unleashed a stream of flames, hitting the ground and bathing the Dothraki in them. As he extended his wings and glided above the ground, sweeping down, I saw and heard explosions of flames erupt on the ground. The sounds of screaming Dothraki filled the air.

"Good." Obara said as Morghul began to circle around

I saw several Dothraki mounting their horses and beginning to ride away from the camp, like they were retreating.

"No you don't!" I said as I steered Morghul towards them

The amount of Dothraki that were on horseback was great, ranging from 30 or 40. The fact that they were instantly mounted on the horses and leaving was absolutely terrifying if I were not on dragonback. The fact that an enemy like that could mobilize themselves on horseback that quickly made me think why they were so feared.

Of course, it didn't matter to me since I was on a superior mount.

"Dracarys!"

As Morghul swept over them, he unleashed another stream of flames, destroying their retreat as we circled around again. I saw another massive group of riders screaming as they immediately retreated.

"Fucking cowards." I said as I looked around, "Doesn't look like the dragons are nearby. This is starting to frustrate me. Where the hell could they be? I have been scouring the entire country and no luck! Is there terrain a dragon could hide in, Obara?"

"Mayhaps." I heard her say, "But I am not too sure if the enemy has taken that territory yet."

"A cream and gold colored dragon was spotted above Sunspear." I told her, "Then the black and red one at Salt Shore and Lemonwood. If anything, that dragon is the one that is beating your kin down."

"We should deal with them as quickly as possible." She said, "I know that our forces can handle the Dothraki by themselves. Morghul would make our lives easier."

"Agreed." I said, "I'm going to land us after this next sweep. We'll check the camp for any prisoners and if we can, we'll wipe the savages out of it. Doesn't look like there's many. Stick close to me, alright?"

Morghul let out a roar as he swept down and unleashed more flames onto a large group of dothraki on the ground. He then ascended higher, going for a circle as I looked down to see the flames and smoke that remained after the first few sweeps. Flames on the sand, leaving nothing but smoke and burning flesh on it.

This was what a dragon was capable of, such destruction. And the fact that the Dornish were able to resist even this. They had my respect. But they were also fortunate that a Dragon was on their side this time. And I was not planning on letting them down. I had to find those dragons and deal with them as quickly as possible because I had a bad feeling about everything else.

Why would they suddenly attack after waiting for so long? Something told me that they were waiting for something.

For someone.

Was it the Dragon God? Perhaps it was him. Maybe he was still not ready. He said he was going to return to the Realm.

Whatever that meant.

It doesn't matter now. I had to focus on fighting. This was it, the conflict that was looming over us.

"Land us, Morghul."

*********

"Oh." I said as I dodged a arakh swipe and countered with a thrust, "There you go."

Fury pierced the Dothraki's stomach and I swung it outwards, blood spraying everywhere. This was about to get repetitive. No matter how many of them came at me, I would simply dodge, block, or parry their attacks.

I am not sure if it was them being overrated and weak or if it was myself that was too strong. But I was beginning to understand that they were standing no chance against me.

Maybe it was them being at a disadvantage on the ground, their specialty being horse-combat, which they are supposedly unrivaled.

When I beat the Khal back then, he was quite strong, skilled too. But something told me that he was fatigued and at a disadvantage. That didn't stop me from plunging my blade through him and killing him. Apparently, his son had taken over the Great Khalassar, which consisted of a lot of these guys. I wonder what they were doing when Viserys and I reached them and decided to attack the Horde.

It doesn't matter now.

I heard Obara grunting and as I turned to see her, I watched as she had impaled two Dothraki with her spear, pinning them against a wooden post that was holding a tent together.

"Tch..." She said as she pulled the spear out of their bodies, "These bastards...."

I saw a dothraki lunge at her from behind and I rushed over swiftly, parrying the attack and kicking him on the knee, causing him to buckle down hard.

As he hit the ground, I swung my sword and cleaved his neck, causing his head to roll down. I looked around to see nothing but flames in the distance as Morghul was roaring, trashing around the camp.

There was nothing but screams that followed Morhgul's roaring, I could tell he was doing a number on the Dothraki.

"Are there any prisoners?" I asked Obara

"I saw several cages in the distance, I was unable to go and check them." She said

"Let's go then." I said as I turned around

After a few minutes of fighting our way through the camp, cutting down Dothraki by the bunch, we reached the cages at the end of the camp.

"There!" Obara said as we reached massive steel cages that contained dead corpses

"Shit." I said, "They're dead."

"Wait..." Obara said as I was parrying some dothraki behind her, "Father!"

"Huh?" I said as I riposted the dothraki and killed them one by one, "Oberyn?"

I turned to see Obara running up to a cage, "It's Father!"

I saw that Oberyn was in a cage, sitting down, blood covered his face. He was wearing his leather armor, the same he wore when we fought. It was ripped apart and blood was pouring out some wounds on it.

"Rhaegon!" Obara said as she tried prying the doors open, "Help!"

I nodded before whistling for Morghul. I then heard the distant thudding of the dragon who decided to make his way towards us.

I walked over to Obara and the cage, "Step aside."

As she did so, I swung Fury down at the cage's lock, slicing through the steel. It was quite convenient that the steel was somewhat weaker and I had Valyrian Steel.

The lock fell down and the door opened. As Morghul reached us, letting out a loud rumble, Obara reached inside and pulled Oberyn out.

"Father..." She said, "I got you..."

"Oberyn, what the hells happened to you?!" I exclaimed

Oberyn opened his eyes as Obara placed his arm around her neck, leaning him against her, "A-Aegon..." He said coarsely

"What?" I said, "You know what, forget it. Let's go."

"We're taking you back to Sunspear."
