Game of Thrones-The Black Lord

It all started in Summerhall. Aegon The Unlikely’s attempt at resurrecting the Dragons was successful but at the cost of his life. The fire was able to be put out, not before it took Aegon V's life as well as his son, Ser Duncan The Tall, and a few rooms. Ever since then, the events that decide the fate of Westeros had vastly changed. Dragons had returned; it was said that during the night of the fire, a bright crimson comet was seen in the night sky. During the end of King Aerys’s reign, a Rebellion started. But it wasn’t started by Robert Baratheon due to Rhaegar’s actions. Robert instead fought for the Targaryens and was married to a Princess which resulted with them having a son, Rhaegon. Rhaegon Baratheon is the rider of Morghul, a massive Black Dragon that Hatched at the end of the Rebellion started by the River Dragon. He was not just named after the Dragon that was bound to Aegon III's first wife and cousin, Jaehera but because of Rhaegon's unique sense of humor as he inherited his mother's spirit. Black Wings

(Rhaegon's POV)

"Quietly, Princess...." I said as we walked up the hill where Morghul laid, "Don't let any guards hear us...."

I held her hand as she walked behind me, giggling nervously as we both were barefoot, feeling the cool dirt beneath our feet.

"This is exciting..." She said softly, "I cannot wait...."

I held my sheathed sword in my free hand as we walked closer to my dragon, feeling her grip on my other hand tighten as we walked toward him.

"I know, Princess." I whispered, "Keep your wits about, we're almost to him. Hopefully, he doesn't alert anyone too much when he wakes."

We then arrived at him, I saw that Morghul had his entire head nuzzled underneath one of his wings as his body slightly moved up and down with every breath he took. Every few breaths I heard, I heard a loud snort as his neck shifted and a deep rumble was let out.

He was snoring. Not anyone can witness a snoring dragon and when they do, they accidentally wake it and put their lives at risk. As a Dragonrider, it is a surreal feeling to watch your mount sleep, sometimes they can seem peaceful but when you startle them awake, even as their riders, you can't expect them not to accidentally hurt you.

I felt Myrcella's hand began to sweat slightly as she pressed herself against me from behind, "Rhaegon...." She whispered, "I...."

"It's okay, Princess." I said as I stood in front of her, "Don't worry, it's safe."

Almost as if he heard me loud and clearly, Morghul's head suddenly jerked up from underneath his wing, a loud snort being let off from his nostrils. I saw his large golden amber eyes pierced right at me as he growled.

"Morghul, Lykiri" I commanded as I raised my arm at him while holding my blade in hand

Morghul blinked, his tired eyes adjusting to the darkness and almost immediately began to vocalize as he leaned forward, nudging me with his massive snout.

"Oh, my boy." I chuckled as he looked at me, "Sorry for bothering your sleep

He then slowly shook his neck as he straightened up, letting out a snort as he began to sniff the air.

I saw as his eyes quickly shot at Myrcella, who stood behind me, her hand tightly gripping my hand harder than I gripped my sword. Morghul then leaned forward and looked at Myrcella, sniffing the air as he narrowed his large golden eyes.

"Step to my side, Princess." I told Myrcella

"I-Is it safe?" She asked

"It's okay." I assured her, "Just do as I say."

Myrcella slowly stepped to my side as she held my hand still, Morghul's eyes following her.

"Okay...." She said softly

"Extend your arm forward." I said, "Open your palm and point it at him."

She nodded as she did so, "Alright..."

I looked at Morghul who looked at me, blinking slowly, "Renis."

Morghul then slowly leaned his snout forward to Myrcella's hand, gently nudging her as she widened her eyes in surprise.

"It's okay." I told her with a smile, "Touch him....he won't harm you, you have my word."

She looked at me and then at Morghul, "Is it okay?" She asked

"Yes." I told her, "Go ahead."

She then reluctantly touched his snout with her small and petite hands, letting out a nervous laugh as she did so. Morghul blinked and let out a low rumble, giving Myrcella a gentle stare.

"A-Amazing..." She said

I nodded, "He's something, alright." I said, "Princess, my Dragon allowed you to touch him. That proves who you are, what you are."

She looked at me, "Y-Yes..." She said with an excited smile

"Of course, he only allows me to ride him." I said, "But because I am his master, he'll allow you to join me. Come."

Morghul pulled back and instinctively lowered himself, allowing me to mount him.

I pulled Myrcella alongside me as I walked toward the dragon's side, tossing my sword up on the saddle.

"H-How do I...?" She said, "Is it okay?"

"Just climb on his scales and then grab onto the saddle's rope on the side." I told her, "Go on, I'll help you up."

I then saw as she slowly began to climb up and immediately caught her as she slipped. I held onto her legs as she frantically tried to grab onto the saddle's rope.

"Ah!" She said in a hushed tone, "S-Sorry...."

"It's fine, Princess." I said as I gently pushed her up, "It takes practice. Soon, you'll be able to ride your own dragon."

I watched as she managed to climb onto the saddle, which was conveniently large to hold two people. She looked around as I was climbing up to her.

"Y-Your sword...." She said as she held it, "Where do I put it?"

"There's a small strap that holds my weapons, just secure it there." I said as I climbed atop the saddle and heard Morghul's light rumbling, "Here, I'll do it."

I took Death's Fury from her hands and placed it to my right, an unused securing strap was right next to my leg and I slid the blade in there, tightening the strap and having it secure.

"It....feels nice...." She said as I sat in front of her, "So tall....and high...."

I felt her arms wrap around me from behind as I grabbed the reigns of the saddle, "Yes, it gets even higher when we take flight." I told her with a smile, "Hold on tight, would ya? I don't have my proper riding gear, so I can't secure myself tightly."

"Okay...." She said as Morghul straightened himself up and turned around slowly

"He knows we're about to take a few laps." I said with a chuckle, "He's getting ready to launch into the air already."

"How does he know?" She asked me as Morghul vocalized

"Our bond is deep and strong." I told her, "He can feel my intentions at times, I don't need to command him."

"Ah, I see...." She said as I felt her lean her head against my back, "Such a beautiful thing you have with him."

"Yes..." I said, "But I'll still say it."

"Soves, Morghul!"

Without wasting time, Morghul extended his wings and took several steps towards the edge of the hill, launching into the air as he flapped his wings hard. Within a few seconds, we were in the air, feeling the breeze of the night hit our faces as Morghul let out a low rumble.

"Ah...." I heard Myrcella say as we ascended high into the sky, "It's.....it's happening....."

She gently tightened her embrace around me as Morghul took us into the sky. Morghul's dark and majestic black wings extended outwards as he stabilized into a soar, near the clouds. The mere fact that my dragon can reach such heights in a matter of seconds is amazing to me. He was fast enough to do this despite his size. Dragons are extraordinary creatures.

I raised an eyebrow as I glanced back to her, "Has Uncle never taken you to the skies on Arraxes?" I asked her

She shook her head as she looked down, "N-No, Mother wouldn't allow him...." She said softly

I looked down and saw that Duskendale was far below us, looking so.....small.....

"Hm...." I said as Morghul let out a roar, "Easy, boy...."

He usually does this whenever he feels excited, roaring into the air as we're in the sky. I typically have to check if he's not alarmed by anything, you can never know why a Dragon behaves a certain way.

"Is this how a dragon sees the world from above?" Myrcella asked me

I nodded, "Indeed." I said, "It is a beautiful thing. Soon, you'll be able to see things like this. Atop your own dragon."

"I hope that day comes soon." She said softly

"It will." I told her as I gently placed my hand on her arm, "You are Rhaegar's daughter, you will have you dragon. And when you do, the people of the realm will rejoice. Nobody will look at you any different than your sisters. You have my word, Princess....."

She looked at me, her beautiful eyes shining in the moonlight, "Thank you...." she said softly, "For this.....I am grateful..."

"Don't worry about it." I said with a smile, "Just know that I never once stopped believing in you."

She nodded, "I know....." She said

"We'll go a few laps around the city, then we land back." I said, "Your mother will have my head if something happens to you."

"Before we go...." She said as she placed her hand on my cheek and turned me towards her, "Do me a favor...."

I raised an eyebrow, "Princess?" I said

She then leaned forward and before I could react, she met her lips with mine as she tightly embraced me from behind.

I froze, not knowing what to do.

She was kissing me. I didn't know what to think of this but in that moment, for some reason, I gave myself to the feeling of her sweet lips and kissed her back.

There was an unusual feeling in my stomach, one that I don't usually feel but I was feeling it now.

It scared me. I kept kissing her back as she patted my cheek, feeling her warm body press against mine as I heard Morghul's vocalizing in the background. It was an unusually serene feeling, feeling the night breeze as she kissed me.

I then snapped out of it.

I pulled away, "P-Princess....." I said as I looked at her

She gave me a look of innocent bliss, her face looked as if she were in a trance, her eyes in a daze.

"Ser Rhaegon...." She said, "I...."

"I've fallen in love with you...."
