74 Sapphire Isle

I would be grateful for any review you can leave. Thank you!

I watched as everyone sat at the big table that was made in the same style like the one on Dragonstone.

My sworn shields sat behind me and the Magistrates and commanders were looking at the table with their second in command sitting just behind them.

I wanted to laugh seeing Grey so uncomfortable. He never was one for planning.

"We are here to finalize the issues before I leave for Westeros, we have to set a direction for the Magistrates and the Legions before I go, so without further ado let us start. Feel comfortable with sharing your thoughts." I said and looked at each of them before continuing. "First the Legions." I picked up the figurines that were representing our Legions, shaped as per their names and numbers.

"The 1st, 2nd and 3rd Praetoria will stay here for now. 1st on Elyria, 2nd and 3rd in Tolos." I looked at Theros as he nodded. "Theros, take under consideration this is a temporary solution, I want you to create 17th Vulpes (Fox), 18th Pardus (Leopard) and 19th Ignis (Fire) Legions in the next 10 years, but note that I will need 1st back in a year or two, the 2nd in one or two years after and again 3rd in one or two years after that." he looked comfortable with this.

"Are there any requirements my Lord?" He really likes to confirm the details.

"The same as usual in recruitment, but I want our men to be bloodied, send 4 Legions to disputed lands and free cities. There's always conflict going on there like we did till now." Everyone nodded.

"Now Maya." she straightened her back. "You will still have the 4th, 5th and 6th, but leave the Tribe riders to Oro, Qotho and Vorsakko. They need to cooperate if a larger Khalasar would try to invade. Help them if they ask, the job is not easy and I have scars to prove that." The people gathered looked at my right eye and the line going from the top of my brow and stopping half the way down my cheek and the other above my left brow on my forehead. Truthfully my whole body had battle scars. Just before arriving to Meereen I cut my long hair and left them with the bells still attached in Vaes Ayena as per the Tribe's tradition.

"Yes my Lord." she answered so quickly, a smart girl, she will make it.

"There's one more thing." I looked at her and the commanders of 4th, 5th and 6th seriously. "You have to recruit 3 more Legions. The land we control is too big for the Tribe cities and only three Legions." They were natives from there so they knew and by looking at the map we everyone had a clear understanding of the sheer size of it. "For now you will take Zizaz 13th Hasta and 14th Leonis to the east," I placed the figures at the table for everyone to see. "but that's only a temporary solutions. I want the new Legions take their place and the third new one to guard The Red Waste entrance at the least in 295 AC." She was thinking about the locations I placed the figurines on for a moment.

"We can do it my Lord, New Lhazar's population is similar to Meereen with the people you freed from Dothraki during the years. Most young men are farmers but they dream of proving themselves to you. With the training and the bloodying we should make it." Maya looked at her aid making sure the girl noted everything.

"Good. Thank you Maya. Now Zizaz." I looked at the big man opposite me. "7th, 8th and 9th will guard Meereen. 10th, 11th and 12th will be spread in the shore line guarding the smaller settlements and the coast between Yunkai and Astapor. Increase the number of carroballistas in each Legion to 55. We could see what they can do against the Golden Company last time." The small figures representing the Legions were spread again for them to see what I have in mind. "Is that clear?" I saw them nodding. "Any questions?" Silence. "Good. The commanders may go back to do their thing." As one they all stood up, saluted in my direction with their right hand on their hearts and left in organized fashion.

Moving about 130.000 men won't be easy but it has to be done, how otherwise would we secure a land similar in size to Stormlands and Reach together.

I needed even bigger army if I'm to fight the Others comfortably. In the show the Night King had 100.000 troops and 2:1 in current case scenario didn't fill me up with optimism.

When everyone from the military side left we continued.

"I want each of you to have your men implement a similar city management system we have in Neverwinter, see how it works and change it to fit your people, remember it's already a tested blueprint so don't hesitate. Maya, you have to increase the farmland, we secured the land so let's use it. Ziz, for you it's important to protect the merchants, I'm taking back Dale and half of his fleet so you have about 250 frigates for now, you should be able to quadruple the numbers in the next few years, just don't take too long or my sailor's wives will kill me in Neverwinter." We all laughed at my remark. "You have to choose your commanders and train your men to guard the Bay and Gulf of Grief. Increase the patrols around island of Naath as they will produce silk for us for protection. Use the pirates dens to train your sailors and Legions." all of them were concentrating on my every word.

"Theros, you need to protect the lands from Volantis. They already started to send their fleets and units to get Slavers Bay back. Use my Legions thoughtfully, they are all experienced men and none other Legion was in as many battles as them, don't ignore their advice. Use them. Ziz will help you with the fleet. As per the agreement the Iron Bank will pick the amount we decided on before once every 12 moons and deposit them on Dustin account. Understood?" I asked for formality.

"""Yes my Lord""" they answered at the same time.

"Good... so my friends... this is goodbye for the next few years." I got up and hugged each one of them.

I really couldn't wait to go back. 4 long and painful years have passed... Left a boy, returned a man...

We left soon after the meeting ended. Missandei was a bit sad, but just seeing her parents healthy was enough for her.

Cerea and Gerold stayed as they still had work to do there but the rest followed me back.

When we sailed close to Lys the Dornish separated going to Sunspear and we continued to our next destination.

After few weeks at sea we saw our destination.

The sapphire colored water and the beautiful sunny weather made want to strip and jump right in, maybe later I would.

For now there were other priorities on my mind.

Brienne of fucking Tarth. Got to catch them all right?
