20 Extra little chapter

Lannisport, Westerlands, 10th moon of 276 AC

Ragnar was enjoying the city of Lannisport; it was one of the biggest cities Ragnar had ever seen; in Skyrim, only Solitude and Whiterun were bigger.

Ragnar was ready for the Archery and the Melee as they would happen in a few hours. The joust would take place on the next day.

Ragnar was wearing his Nordic Craved Armor, the most Nord-ish armor he had; on his back was Wuuthrad; Ysgramor's fabled ax shone in all his glory, scaring the week willed. By his side, Davos walked with pride, and in his hand, he held Auriel's bow, which Ragnar would use in the Archery. Ragnar and Davos stood out in the crowd, Ragnar because he was the tallest man competing in both the melee and the Archery, and Davos because he was by Ragnar's side.

" You are standing out too much, Davos. Don't you think your wife will be mad at you? The ladies are looking." Ragnar joked.

"You are the one standing out, m'lord. The ladies indeed look but fortunately not at me. Besides, I'm just a commoner; the King would spend a night in flea bottom before one of them even look at me with interest." Replied Davos.

'A commoner for now; after the war, I will make you the lord of Skane.' Ragnar thought.

" Perhaps… but have it in mind that nothing is impossible no matter how improbable; all things could happen before the rising sun," Ragnar said, and to that, Davos chose silence.

"I can't wait for the melee; it's been some time since I last fought a good fight," Ragnar said. In the corner of his eye, he could see two men approaching him, both clearly northerners. One of them wore simple steel armor with bears engraved on it. The other wore a simple green tunic with House Mormont's coat of arms embroidered and simple woolen trousers.

"Lord Dovahkiin "The Dragon of The North." It's good to see another Northern Lord competing in a tourney. Jorah Mormont of Bear Island." Jorah said as he reached out to Ragnar.

" Jorah Mormont of Bear Island, It's good to see another northern lord here. I've heard stories about your lands and how your people are loyal and intense in battle—both man and woman, if I had my horn ( the cup, don't go all boink), I would raise a toast to you," Ragnar laughed as he shook Jorah's hand.

" Aye, and I heard about your conquest of Skagos, bringing it back to the North alone. They say you slew ten wildlings in less than 30 seconds and saved Lady and Lord Stark. A warrior of the North." Jorah Joked.

" Aye, warriors of the North." Ragnar laughed."This is Davos of Flea Bottom, a friend, and advisor of mine." Ragnar said.

"M'lord," Davos said as he gave Jorah a slight bow.

"This is Jon of Bear Island, my father's friend and one of my companions for this trip," Jorah said, and Jon bowed slightly to Ragnar.

" One of your companions? You say? Have you brought the legendary she-bear Maege Mormont with you?" Ragnar joked, and Jorah laughed

"No, but I did bring her daughter, Dacey, my cousin. A warrior through and through." Jorah said

Before Ragnar could comment on that, the King walked into the bleachers, followed by Lord Tywin and Prince Rhaegar. They cheered for Lord Tywin twice as loudly as they cheered the King but only half as loud as they cheered Rhaegar.

Lord Tywin looked at the King, who nodded

"In the name of King Aerys of House Targaryen, second of his name, King of Andals, Roynar and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms and Protector of the Realm, The tournament in honor of Prince Viserys' birth has Started." The crowd cheered loudly at that.

" Let the archery begin." Lord Tywin said

Ragnar exchanged his good wishes with Jorah and went to his assigned spot.

The archery competition was boring; Ragnar won his rounds easily, and the final was between Ragnar and the bastard named Donnel Hill.

Ragnar shot his first arrow in the bullseye; Donnel did the same. Ragnar shot his second arrow in the bullseye, cutting his other arrow in half; Donnel did the same. The competition went like that for six more shots until Ragnar decided to get creative.

Ragnar asked Davos for a piece of cloth and wrapped it around his face; he showed it to the crowd, which immediately became silent. Ragnar then shot an arrow at the sky, waited a few seconds, and shot a second arrow at the target.

The second arrow was going to hit a little higher on the target, but the first arrow hit the second's shaft and made it hit the bullseye. The crowd went crazy. Donnel couldn't do much to overcome that, and like that, Ragnar won the Archery

( I know this is not physically possible, but again, Ragnar opened a home in a mountain screaming at it in the best Jon x Viserion style)

" The champion of the Archery: Lord Ragnar Dovahkiin," Tywin announced

The other competitors congratulated Ragnar; he thanked them and went his way to the melee tent. He gave his bow to Davos, who congratulated Ragnar on his victory, and followed Ragnar to the melee tent. Once Ragnar got the melee tent, he sat down on a nearby chair and waited for his name to be called.
