180 Chapter 180: Final moments in The North

After hearing his words, Ned Stark could finally sigh in relief. He knew that the things would not end here with this woman glaring at him and Robert like that, but the problem would move out from Winterfell at least.

After Edward did what he wanted to do with the Lannisters and his brother, Robert, and humiliated them like that, he decided to see Bran Stark before leaving Winterfell. He had to give Jon and Arya the chance to say goodbye to everyone.

So Edward did not forget to take Jon and Arya with him since he knew that Catelyn fucking Stark would use this chance to humiliate Jon more if the boy was there on his own. At least, Jon could say whatever he wanted to Bran without worrying about getting interrupted by Catelyn, who would insult him at every chance.

After arriving at the Great Keep and climbing the stairs up to Bran's room, Edward knocked on the door before entering. This Keep wasn't his, after all, so he had to act a little polite here. After entering, Edward could see the crying Catelyn sitting on a chair beside Bran's bed and praying for the seven for her son's recovery.

"Lady Stark." Said Edward as he looked at the woman and nodded his head. Although he did not like her, he should behave like this, at least.

"Your grace." Said Catelyn Stark as she stood up and was about to give her courtesy to Edward, but he decided to stop her since he did not like to force a mother in front of her children.

"Don't worry about all that. We are just here to say our farewell to little Bran before leaving." Said Edward as he moved closer to Brandon Stark before putting his hands on the boy's shoulders.

"I am sorry to see you in this state, little Bran. I know that you will wake up soon, and you will have a great future waiting for you then." Said; Edward when he remembered what happened in the original timeline when Bran woke up after Catelyn left Winterfell. After that, Bran would travel with House Reed's children to find the three-eyed raven.

After saying those words to the little guy, Edward waved his hand to Jon and Arya, waiting since the start a little far from the bed. Catelyn, who saw Jon enter the room with Edward and come close to her son, had been glaring at the innocent boy. She was probably cursing him, as well, and wishing that it was Jon Snow who fell from the tower and not her son.

After the two saw Edward's signal, Jon came first and started saying all those things he wanted to say to Bran. Everything happened exactly like the show without Catelyn Stark interference this time. After seeing this scene, Edward thanked god that he made the right decision by leaving Jon to Ned so that he could take care of him, or else Edward was sure that the boy would turn corrupted if he was the one who took care of him.

After Jon finished what he wanted to say, Arya came forward to pay her farewell to Bran as well, since she did not know when she would get to see him again. During all this time, Catelyn's eyes did not leave Jon, even ignoring her half-dead son. Edward wanted to ask her what Jon did to her to make her hate him to this degree. But in the end, he decided not to ask this crazy woman because he did not want to upset himself.

Although Edward was cruel when it came to his children's benefits, he would not go and bully a little child. If he saw that he was dangerous, killing that boy would be merciful for both sides. But would Catelyn Stark dare to do something like that?

"Well, Lady Stark. We will take our leave, then." Said Edward as he nodded his head to the woman. This time would be the last time that he got to see the woman before she died probably.

Edward took Jon and Arya with him before leaving the room. He did not want that woman to say some poisonous words to Jon, upsetting him before they could even march back. When he got down, Edward could see his children and men waiting for him.

"I think you have enjoyed your time in the North this time." Said Edward with a smile as he looked at his youngest daughter Jasmine, who continued to smile since they returned to Winterfell; before turning his head towards the rest of his children.

"Yeah, It was quite fun." Said Raymont as he looked at his father. He did not expect that their visit to the North this time would be amusing like that. Raymont was the eldest son, so he was the one that visited the North most with his father. And he was conscious enough to remember all his travels to this cold land. This time, they experienced many exciting events, unlike the other visits when they were just routines where Edward accompanied the criminals to The Wall and spent some time with Ned Stark and his family. He might go out of the norm and visit the houses in the North on the way.

He remembered every time he came to The North would be a little boring. There was nothing in Winterfell which attracted him really and made him want to come back. Maybe, the wilding and what was happening beyond The Wall were interesting, but that was it.

Only one time was enjoyable to Raymont when he got to visit Winterfell. It was when Raymont tried to frighten the seven-year young Rob Stark. He pretended to be angry at that time and carried an ax before chasing after Rob saying scaring him by saying that he would cut his dick with this ax. It was funny because Rob pissed himself after he did that.

Although it was a little childish, Raymont, who lived most of his life following his father's steps until that moment, got to enjoy his life for a bit. Rob Stark did not think like that, though, and he tried to stay away from Raymont from that moment and never dared to fight Raymont again. The young Rob would tremble from fear whenever he remembered what happened.

Axel, who did not put this visit to The North in his mind from the start, or consider anything else really, did not open his mouth. He just stayed silent like always. Edward wanted to punch him in the face or use a knife to make him laugh and smile all the time, like Joker after getting no response from his son.
