The Early Childhood Of King Agadosh

"Courage isn't having the strength to go on it is going on when you don't have strength."

Agadosh Crathos to his father in 268 AC

It is impossible to say how much time it took me to see that the crown prince wasn't a normal child. Probably a few weeks or 2 months. The signs were easy to see never had I heard of a Child before which would mostly be silent unless it was hungry.

Over time more signs started to occur when, for example, the prince started to crawl after just 12 Weeks or when he was able to make simple sounding words like yes or no after just 10 Weeks. The greatest shock came when after just 6 month the boy started Walk.

But the most terrifying thing of them all were his eyes. "The view of a full grown man", the people including myself whispered behind the backs of the Royal Family.

The first more complex words came out of the princes mouth as he was still 9 months old and after a year he could already speak longer sentences. "The Prince Must have been blessed by the gods", people began to say. I agreed, such intelligence at such a age was impossible without godly intervention.

The Boy was roughly 2 years old when he asked his father if he could start his education. It certainly took a little effort to convince his father but eventually he relented and I was honored with the task of becoming the prince's tutor.

He would turn out to be a great and quick learner basically absorbing every little piece of wisdom I gave him and interpreted it in ways I never thought about before. While his writing and reading of our Language had to be done from the Basics (remember that the SI needs to learn not just a new language but new alphabet to) his understanding of mathematics and philosophy surpassed even my own further leading me to the outcome that the Prince was blessed.

As soon as I realized that I couldn't teach him anything in mathematics and philosophy I proposed to him that we would skip these two fields to focus more on his language and history skills. But while he agreed to skip mathematics he also explained that philosophy was subject from wich a person no matter how much he or she already knew could always get new knowledge from.

As the Prince grew older I decided to ad a further more subjects to his lessons like Policy, Economy and diplomacy along with foreign languages like High Valyrian and the basis of the Dothraki language. The prince was surprised to hear that we would actually teach him the language of those Barbarians. I explained him that since we had been forced to change our approach with those Barbarians to a less aggressive one, learning the language was a key element in preventing the fall of our last city.

King Zellos POV

"How?"

That was question that he had been asking himself for the last 6 years. A question always being caused by one and the same person, his beloved son Agadosh. His Son was a marvel and a mystery at the same time. Was it True what People Said, that his son was blessed by the gods or was his son simply a smart Child. The more he thought about it the more he realized that the latter wasn't enough to explain all the things the boy was able to achieve. Today the question appeared again as he was looking at a draft for a new type forging hammer that would be powered by a waterwheel.
