1 Chapter 1

Once upon a time, there was a guy named Jay, just your average college student leading a pretty ordinary life. But one weekend, he decided to watch the last episode of the Game of Thrones series. Now, Jay had mixed feelings about the ending. He wasn't thrilled with it, no matter which way you looked at it.

If Daenerys survived, well, she went on a crazy killing spree due to her extreme emotional issues. That wasn't exactly a happy ending. And if she was dead for good, why did Jon have to go into exile? Jay thought Jon could've made a great king with Bran's guidance, the guy they call "the Broken."

For Jay, there were just too many unnecessary deaths that messed with the emotions of fans, from the beginning to the very end. But, with a not-so-happy heart, Jay decided to call it a night. After all, he had to wake up early for class the next day.

Little did he know that this would be his last night as a human. When he woke up, he had become something else entirely—a monster.

As Jay was drifting off to sleep, something felt a little off. When he tried to roll over, it was like he was teetering on the edge of a fall. He opened his eyes and was met with a hazy, smoky atmosphere. All around him were ruins, and in the distance, he could see active volcanoes spewing fiery molten rock. Jay hoped desperately that this was all just a dream.

But deep down, he had a sinking feeling that it wasn't. When he looked at his hands, they were no longer human hand; they resembled bat wings. Panic welled up inside him, and he let out a scream that seemed to shake the very core of his being.

After he calmed down a bit, Jay realized that he had a massive tail curling around him. He tried to get up, but it was a struggle because of his odd body shape. The only word that escaped his lips was a frustrated, "Fuck!" It came out as an earth-shattering roar that even startled him.

As he took in his bizarre appearance, a thought crossed his mind. "Could I be a dragon?" Jay pondered. To test his theory, he tried to exhale a fiery breath, just like the dragons in Game of Thrones. But to his dismay, all he managed was a puff of air. It seemed he wasn't a full-fledged dragon, but something similar, maybe a wyvern. This wyvern had teeth, unlike the wyvern described in the show.

Jay, now in his dragon-like form, struggled to move about. Being a creature of such size and scale was a challenge for him, especially since he was once human. As he approached a nearby structure, he realized that he was enormous. The door of the old ruins looked tiny, only even big enough for  his eyes combined.

Since it was just a decrepit building, Jay decided to break through to see what lay inside. To his astonishment, it turned out to be an armory, filled with an array of beautifully crafted swords scattered about. Jay's eyes wandered, taking in the sight, but then he noticed something on his back. There was a saddle perched there, and a thought struck him: "So I'm meant to have a rider. But where is he?"

More questions swirled in Jay's mind. A dragon-like appearance, a saddle, ancient ruins, a gray haze, and a landscape surrounded by numerous volcanoes. It couldn't be... could it? "Don't tell me this is the ruins of Valyria," Jay wondered aloud.

Jay's growing certainty that he was a dragon if he is in ruins of Valyria.

So Jay decided to make one more attempt to breathe fire. After several tries that resulted in nothing more than puffs of air, he didn't hold back. He gave it all he had, and something peculiar happened.

As he exhaled, he felt an invisible force gathering around him, drawn into his breath. Suddenly, a colossal tunnel of black flames erupted from his mouth, obliterating everything in its path.

Jay stood in stunned silence for a heartbeat, then bellowed in frustration, "Why am I in this freaking world?" His thunderous roar echoed through the ruins.
