Chapter-14

The sound of motorcycles filled the streets, their exhausts rumbling loudly in the darkness. In the gloom of the street lamps, a group of gang members wearing colourful headscarves and looking pretty arrogant rode motorcycles to take over the streets and cause trouble.

"Thankfully, the motorcycle gangs came out to cause trouble on the streets. I'm already looking forward to seeing them blown up into the sky."

When Frank heard this, he gripped the steering wheel tighter, looked ahead with a cold gaze, and pressed the accelerator.

The beveled Rubik's Cube looked like a dilapidated ghost shuttled under the streetlight, speeding away in the direction given by Merlin.

Merlin was eating snacks in his modification shop while watching the surveillance footage of the scene. A stream of motorcycles carrying chatting and laughing motorcycle gang members wound its way through the street.

As we continued, the scene shifted, and we arrived at an empty square. There, a woman with a graceful and capable figure, dressed casually in blue, was surrounded by members of a motorcycle gang. She simply frowned as she heard the sound of motorcycles and whistles, showing no signs of panic.

Merlin's eyes flicked back and forth between the two figures, reading their expressions. Upon seeing this, Merlin retrieved the woman's identity by reading the other person's face.

Soon, a detailed information page popped up.

"What a coincidence..." Merlin muttered to himself as he scanned the information on the page. An ex-girlfriend of Matt's and now the number one killer for Kingpin, Elektra Natchios was not someone he expected to encounter here.

Usually, it was Bullseye who came into contact with Kingpin, but Erica was different - mysterious and rarely seen. However, Bullseye would often mention her in passing and Merlin had picked up some details about her.

The roar of motorcycles and provocative whistles filled the square, creating a chaotic scene. Most people would have crumbled under this kind of pressure, but not Erica.

She squinted her eyes and looked around. Although she didn't think highly of these people, being surrounded was still a bit troublesome.

Right as she was about to take charge and break the stalemate, a loud roar echoed outside of the courtroom.

Suddenly, a bulldozer-like vehicle burst into the chaotic traffic circle, knocking over motorcycles and people with its powerful impact. The once arrogant motorcycle gang members were sent flying like leaves on their bikes by the sloped armored vehicle driven by Frank, who tore through the group to create an escape route. The once lively square was now a mess, with vehicles piled on top of people and people wailing in pain.

With a smirk on his face, Frank pulled out a handful of grenades, ready to finish off anyone left standing and then chase down any survivors. But when he saw the woman in the center of all the chaos, he hesitated.

"Just throw them and let's go. That woman is not weak" Merlin's voice rang in his ear once again.

Frank was still a little hesitant, but the moment he looked at Elektra, his hesitation vanished instantly. Without hesitation, he threw the string of grenades in his hand. "Buzz..."

The beveled car suddenly sprang out like a sharp sword and disappeared from sight. " Looking at the clanging grenades scattered on the ground, Elektra cursed under her breath and quickly vanished into the darkness like a ninja. She decided to be more cautious.

 "Boom, boom, boom..."

Bursts of roars accompanied fireballs that soared into the sky one after another in the empty square.

"Turn right, then turn right again after five hundred meters." Frank's eyes hardened as he watched the motorcycle gang members disappear into the alley on their motorcycles. Then, following Merlin's instructions, he turned the steering wheel to the right.

"Slow down," Frank was instructed. "That guy can't ride fast in the alley. If you get there too soon, he might turn back."

Frank complied and reduced his speed.

A black man, strong as a monkey and wearing a black turban, navigated his motorcycle through the dark alley. The stench of garbage seemed to bother him not at all. He glanced back nervously, repeatedly checking for pursuers. Finally, satisfied that no one was gaining on him, he relaxed.

"Fuck! Who's targeting us? Our gang will make them pay when we get back!" Unaware that his entire crew had been wiped out in the square, he vowed revenge.

The motorcycle sped through the narrow alley, the rider's familiarity with the surroundings allowing for a quick escape. Emerging from the oppressive darkness, the black man's heart finally settled.

But the next moment, his complacency vanished as his eyes widened in horror. A familiar, modified vehicle suddenly rammed into him from the side. With a thunderous bang, the motorcycle and rider were instantly separated and sent flying by the impact. They tumbled through the air like a rag doll before crashing violently to the ground. The black man's body disintegrated into scattered limbs, and blood seeped slowly into the surrounding area. His head lay a macabre distance away.

'One! Wuhu, perfect!' Merlin cheered, exhilarated in front of the screen.

Frank was silent, his gaze fixed on the lifeless body immersed in a crimson pool. A look of shock gradually transformed into a grim understanding of the young man, Merlin.

Merlin instructed. 'Next up are the Mexican and Irish. They're heavily armed, so be careful.' People involved in drug and smuggling tend to be more cautious, so the challenge will increase."

After hearing this, Frank calmed down, raised his pistol, and drove it into the black man's head, which lay in a pool of blood. He then followed the instructions and moved toward the next destination.

"Boom!"

Erica, wearing a red silk scarf mask and a fancy outfit, suddenly appeared at the scene. Her narrowed eyes shifted from the lifeless black man to the spot where Frank had vanished. With anger fueling her pursuit, she chased after him.

Frank's voice echoed, "There's one behind the door on the right." He spat at the door in front of him, and in the next moment, a corpse slipped out.

"There's one behind the pillar at three o'clock," Frank continued, "and two more behind the drug box."

"And," he added, "there's another on the stairs of the third floor. Throw a grenade."

One jumped out of the window and ran away, now in a black Cherokee SUV."

As Frank moved forward, he relied on Merlin's reporting points and the raw power of his pump-action shotgun. It was as if he had become invisible, with no enemies in sight.

After each raid, Frank felt like a manipulated game character. Walking out of those gang lairs, he wasn't even injured.
