William Arthur thought his life had ended
Instead, he woke up in a mysterious dimension with nothing but a strange computer, unlimited development resources, and a system bound to his soul.
The Game Making System.
Unlike ordinary systems that grant their hosts overwhelming powers, William’s system gives him a simple task:
Make games.
His games will be released into an unknown world.
For every ordinary person who downloads one of his games, William receives 1 System Point.
But when an important individual downloads his game…
3 System Points.
With enough System Points, William can enter the mysterious System Shop, where he can purchase everything from advanced technology to knowledge, items, abilities, bloodlines, and powers originating from countless fictional worlds.
But William has no idea where his games are being released.
His first creation is Minecraft.
What William doesn’t know is that his target world is Earth.
The Marvel Universe.
As Minecraft spreads across the world, Spider-Man becomes one of its first players. Tony Stark soon discovers the impossible technology behind the game. Other heroes, villains, geniuses, mutants, gods, and cosmic beings gradually become players.
Millions download William’s games.
Millions of System Points begin pouring in.
And while William remains inside his isolated dimension, happily creating one game after another…
The Marvel Universe is slowly becoming addicted to his creations.
But there is one question William has yet to ask:
Why was he chosen to become the Game Maker?
And what will happen when the games he creates begin reaching worlds beyond Marvel?
The multiverse is about to get a new game developer
