When Hakuta got up the next morning, he found that it took little time for Iruka to decide to call upon that favor he owed her for stepping in to save him from Ninka yesterday. He sighed, looking over at his computer. It would've been nice to have one day just for himself during this break so he could enjoy himself with things he liked.
When the boy went to check his messages on his gaming app, there appeared to be nothing new for him. This meant Ino had yet to message him through her account to want to either talk or play with him. According to the app, her account had been offline ever since she told him the truth. So hopefully it was because she had been too busy with interact with him rather than trying to avoid him due to their lingering issues.
If he was more into current events, then he could look up in the news to see if her dad was up to anything. Chances were if he did, then he could figure out what she would be doing based on that.
But it would be impossible to truly know, so he didn't bother with it. Not to mention that most details in the news would likely bore him too much to be making it worth it. So instead Hakuta decided to finally give Iruka a reply to her message and turn in that favor. The sooner he was out of debt, the better.
He called her up and it sounded like she was more than prepared to meet up with him somewhere in public. While Hakuta would've preferred to not have to yet again go outside on someone else's whims. He agreed to it and got himself dressed.
As he put on his shirt, the words the girls shared with him about his fashion choices echoed in his mind. There were a bit right that most of what he wore was rather plain. And surely people probably didn't think much of him whenever they did see him out in public, which likely gave them the same reactions that one guy gave him when they saw him with a gyaru. They certainly gave off the mismatched vibe while together and his time with Iruka would be no different.
Then he shook these thoughts of out his head. It was just those words getting to him and playing tricks to get him to change up his outfits. What he wore on a daily basis was already good enough and he shouldn't be letting other people dictate his choices. Even though this was what he was doing today with Iruka requesting his presence somewhere that wasn't his own home.
When she sent him the address on where to go, he took note the distance it was from where he lived. This area likely was much closer to her house, so it made sense for her to think of it as a good spot to invite him over. Of course, this meant him needing to take public transportation to arrive without spending too much time walking. Which is what he did, moving along by the crowd while keeping to himself. As he would normally do during time where he had no other choice but to be in a public space, such as when a game came out that he just had to pick up.
Hakuta bared with it for now as she got off the bus close to the location where she told him to go. The moment he stepped off the vehicle, the boy was instantly attacked from the side from a wild Iruka as she had seen him ahead of him and rushed in for a hug.
"Ah! What's that for?" He asked in slight irritation as she gave him space. "I just got here, so I'm not really ready for anything exciting."
"That's fine." She replied. "I'm not looking to do anything super exciting with you anyway."
"So where's this cafe you told me to go?" He asked her, scanning about for the location he saw on his gps.
"Actually, that was just for us to meetup." She told him. "Where I want to actually go, I don't really know the address for it. So I just gave you somewhere you could actually find."
"Really?" He wondered what kind of place it was that she somehow couldn't find the address to it. Wouldn't just pulling up the map app on her smartphone and checking the surrounding area helped her in being able to do so? "So where did you want to take me?"
"Here, I'll show you." She took his hand and led him along. It was certainly much nicer to do this instead of what she had done previously on the beach. Which was picking him up in front of dozens of people and carrying him to some place to get drinks. "It's not far from here at all."
"You don't really need to hold my hand." He explained, not that it got her to let go of him on her own. "I'm not a child." Hakuta made up an excuse, but his true reasoning was that he didn't wish to give people around them the wrong idea. They might think they were a couple on a date. Not that it would've been the worst thing to have people believe. Only that he didn't want others to be incorrect in their assessment of him.
"Here it is." She wasn't kidding when she told him they wouldn't have far to go for her planned destination. However he was surprised this was the location she wanted to spend there day at.
"A… Playground?" He said, looking around. It seemed too tame and simple that the boy looked around to see if there was something else he missed. That perhaps there was a special event like the petting zoo Ninka took him to. However none of that appeared to be the case as she ran deeper onto the playground.
"Yep!" She spoke, turning around to say her words the turning once more to continue running straight. "Isn't it so much fun?"
"I guess…" He could believe that for those who were aged in the single digits, but they seemed to be a bit too old for these kinds of things. "This is really what you wanted to call your favor on?" Hakuta would've figured if she truly wanted to take advantage of it. She would make him do something he would otherwise never do, but had to for the sake of repaying his debt to her.
"Of course." She hopped onto the main structure, which had stairs and a couple slides poking out the sides. "What's wrong? You don't like it?"
"It's less about that." He walked up to her, where she lent out a hand to encourage him to climb up the rope style ladder. "I just figured you would want to do something a little more… Grownup."
"But this is fun." She told him as he accepted her request and began climbing up. The unsteady rope gave him a bit of a challenge that he thought he would've figured out by now as an older person. "When I first moved here, I saw this and thought it was real neat. It's like this one playground I used to go to all the time when I was younger."
"Yeah, I doubt most playgrounds are that different from each other." He replied as he took step back onto more solid ground with the platform she was on. It was small, since this structure was more built for children half their size. So Hakuta found himself tightly squeezed against her body.
"But it's still so wonderful." It seemed she noticed their tight fit and got off the structure to give him space. Instead of walking down the steps like a normal person, she did so in a flashy manner by leaping to the pole that kids used to slide down for fun. And by flashy, her doing so got her down quickly and had her literally flash her bright yellow panties to him.
"Hey, be more careful." He scolded her. "There's kids around." Though he was worried about them behaving inappropriately in front of the young children who shouldn't be exposed to a teenage girl in this manner. Hakuta also told her not to for his own sake. Seeing her more private areas got him feeling hot and he'd much rather not feel this way in a place meant for children. "You knew we were going to be here. Why'd you choose to wear a short skirt?"
"Because they're cute?" She looked at him like he was the crazy one for questioning her outfit decisions. "What's up with you today? You're pretty down right now. A lot more than you usually are." She laughed at the latter part of her sentence. That somehow his discomfort was funny to her somehow.
While she was correct that he seemed to be acting more against the idea than he would compared to the other crazy things his friends forced him to do. He would disagree that it was somehow a weird thing for him to feel this way.
"I guess I just thought that…" He said as he walked down the steps to back to ground level. "That maybe you'd want to-"
"Ooh, let's go on the swings." She cut him off before he was able to voice his concerns. "Come on, can you push me?"
"...Sure." He sighed and followed her. It wasn't like his worries were that big of a deal anyway.
