<p>Gaia, since her creation, could finally understand why despair can make even the kindest person do unspeakable things to other people. For the first time, the planet could only watch as her Golden Champion and Jenova's puppet fought time after time destroying everything around them as they were locked in an endless loop of battle. She could see now, her mistake in letting Sephiroth get to this point as he was now nothing more than a puppet due to Jenova's interference. Gaia knows that she needs help before this becomes her only reality. The planet could see that the soul of Sephiroth is locked away and trapped within his own body, ignorant of the destruction that Jenova is causing to the planet.<br/>She understands that this will never stop and that Jenova's hold on the former General is too strong and that despite Cloud's attempts in stopping Her. Sephiroth— no Jenova will destroy this world.<br/>And so, Gaia knows what she needed to do to give Cloud and Sephiroth a relatively peaceful existence and to do that she looked beyond her world to find someone who could understand Sephiroth more than Cloud ever could.<br/>She searched for days before she found one world that was alike and yet very different from her world, she needed someone who is like Sephiroth and yet not. It was moments before she found someone that matched her needs, joy unlike any other filled Gaia as she eagerly followed the trail to her savior. <br/>Gaia was horrified at what she found, at the end of the trail was a man covered in tattoos and blood chained to the floor of the most horrific dungeon she had ever seen. She could practically taste the anguish and misery that seemed to linger in the air as she watched a depraved demon torment the man in ways even she would never sentence her Children to endure. She waited until the demon left before she walked towards the unconscious man sighing as she saw his face relax in his slumber, she knew that she was going to ask a lot from someone who owed her nothing. Gaia relaxed her body before waking the man and waited as he regained consciousness.<br/>The moment he opened his eyes she could tell that somehow he knew what she wanted, his beautiful emerald-gold eyes were full of pain and deep sorrow. Gaia felt such sorrow for this man that she gave him a gift to see the soul of his bond-mate. She healed him the best she could, with the limited power she had in store, before transporting herself and the man back to her planet. </p>
