Unwanted guests (part 2)

"Found you."

The man holding me was wearing a large straw hat, but I was able to catch a glimpse of his figure. His eyes were red, while the irises were green and his face was covered in cloth... Masking all of his features. What was odd was the lack of pupils in his eyes.

This man was definitely Kakuzu from the hidden waterfall... There's no doubt about it.

"Hey, we were told to just scout the village's situation but the Ichibi just delivered itself to us. Shouldn't we just kill this other brat and leave? I'm sure the leader would appreciate it."

I turned towards the man, who took off his hat and smiled sadistically as he held up the trembling Shira's chin. His skin was dark, and he wore a white Kumogakure headband on his head with a mark on it. His whole face was covered with a strange tattoo of the kanji for 'lightning'.

Smirking, he opened his palm and dark sparks started to fly everywhere, lighting up the previously dark alleyway. An ominous buzz assaulted my ears as a small, pitch black ball of lightning formed in his hand before shaping into a thin blade.

He slowly guided it to Shira's forehead, ignoring his tears and pleas for mercy.

Before he could finish Shira off though, a massive moat of hair got in the way and ate up the lightning. A small pop could be heard as the hair was completely destroyed by the impact. Shira managed to get free and was now on the ground, speechless.

I could only watch, as Kakuzu held me down and froze me with his aura. I could only shake and sweat while hyperventilating. The pressure was too much for me to take. I felt like I was going to break.

"Hey! What are you doing? I wanted to kill that runt!"

Kakuzu kept a tight grip on my shoulder, as he got up and faced his partner with a somber look on his face.

"I told you once and I am not going to repeat myself, Denki. We have not come here to cause trouble or capture the one tail... As much as that would benefit our organization, orders are orders. Now back off and let us meet with our broker."

"Haaaah? I'm tired of this... You keep bossing me around and I don't get to have any fun around you! I hate your guts as much as I hate your brain-dead appearance. Now, where is that kid..."

As Denki turned towards the direction in which Shira was sitting, Kakuzu let go of my shoulder and attacked his teammate. Raising his arms, he sent both of them to grab the man's neck. Dodging in the nick of time, Denki disappeared before reappearing under Kakuzu's arms and aiming another lightning blade at his abdomen.

Kakuzu reacted just in time though, and engulfed the blade with more of his hair, encapsulating the explosion. He then removed his cloak and his body started convulsing, releasing three masked monsters that encircled Denki.

The three of them prepared an attack each as they opened their mouths, and Denki reciprocated by creating three massive dark-lightning blades.

Kakuzu then looked confidently at his colleague.

"You're going to die at this rate. If you apologize now and plead for mercy, I might choose to spare you."

Denki's lips curled upwards in disdain, as his expression showed no signs of giving up.

"Heh. Who said I was going to die? It looks to me as if though you're the one going down here!"

With those strong words, he shouted and drove the blades towards the three hair-monsters while shouting at the top of his lungs.

"BAM!"

A loud explosion was heard, and a massive cloud of dust and sand was kicked up. Shira and I were blown away a few meters from our earlier position.

...

The dust cloud settled, and two figures were visible once more. Both of them uninjured... Between them, a massive wall of golden sand was standing firmly, apparently having soaked in both of their attacks. I then heard a voice that I wasn't expecting to hear at this moment.

"You guys from the 'oh-so-great' Akatsuki come into my village without me knowing, and then start fighting while inside? Were you expecting me to just sit by and watch?"

A man with red hair and a small gourd hanging from his hip descended from the skies while standing on a golden cloud of sand. This man was none other than Rasa, the current Kazekage of Sunagakure.
