prologue: oh what a life

the last thing I remember was someone screaming run for cover.

well at least it was the last thing i remember about my life. the real story doesn't start till after my death... isn't it funny how that works the beginning of my story starts with the end of my life.

Anyways i was a slightly dirty cop and a very corrupt lawyer. I was loaded, flirted with plenty of girls, had friends in high circles. But I don't think I was a bad guy. I contributed a couple million dollars to environmental charities, helped list children find their homes, shit I even walked a couple of old ladies across the street.

back when I was a dirty cop I say dirty because I didn't always follow the guidelines for arrest. basically I'd take bribes and let small time dealers go. Then when I became a state prosecutor the amount of bribes I took multiplied by 10 plus. that's why I've always felt bad about the shit I've done. anyways this was my boring intro to my boring life.
