[Yumi's P.O.V]

After a few days, we've just returned home after our regular patrol. We do this to guard the village from anything evil, and because of this, I've come to realize that no matter where I go, there will always be evil lurking around the corner of the streets.

We've witnessed numerous criminal behaviors, both during the day and at night. It astounded me because I had no idea there were so many robbers, kidnappers, and murder attempts in this serene village.

I huffed in relief, lying on my comfy bed, knowing I was finally back home, somewhere secure and cozy. Coming back made me realize how difficult security guards' jobs are, and the experience earned my complete respect.

I was able to renovate the cottage here in Jizel Kingdom because we won't need as many bed spaces with only eight of us staying.

They insisted on having my own bedroom because I was the only woman in the group, while the others divided themselves into two in each room.
