First Kill

Early in the morning the next day.

The two guards were preparing breakfast for everyone, with the utensils and ingredients that had been prepared earlier before leaving the mansion.

Xiao Tian had woken up early when the sun started rising, it was his bodies natural sleep cycle kicking in.

Xiao Tian decided not to train his spear arts till he left the soul beast forest.

Everyone, while the breakfast was being prepared, used wet clothes to clean themselves. The ladies wanted to first clean themselves before doing anything, as they preferred to keep themselves clean. While the ladies were cleaning themselves in the carriage, Xiao Tian, Xiao Hai and Zhou Qi cleaned themselves up in the tent turn by turn.

By the time everyone was finished cleaning, the guards had just finished placing breakfast on the wooden table. The table was brought along in the spatial rings.

The guards went to the two horses and gave them their food and water.

Xiao Tian and the group ate their breakfast quickly with the two guards, so as not to delay the soul ring hunt.

After breakfast they rested for half an hour, after which the boarded the carriage and set off deeper in the forest.

Along the way, there were many different types of soul beasts seen by the group. The soul beasts either ran far away or looked at them cautiously from some distance.

The soul beasts along the way were between the age of 50 years to 500 years. They had been scared shitless by the two Millennium Cloud Chasing Horses powerful aura.

Xiao Tian looking at the soul beasts had a bold idea.

" Dad, can I please fight with one of the beasts to test my progress in my spear training?".. asked Xiao Tian with a pleading expression on his face.

The whole group was shocked by Xiao Tian's crazy and reckless words. The little loli who was holding Ling Shui's hand while afraid of the ferocious looking soul beasts was shocked beyond words. Her mouth was opened, with a shocked expression.

Xiao Hai and Tian Shui were just about to refuse his request, when Xiao Tian stopped them.

" Mom, dad, I know that you want to refuse me. But, at least let me fight the weakest soul beast. Dad, you know that the earlier I face the soul beasts, the more I can be accustomed to fighting and gain fighting experience. Also, uncle Zhou, aunt Yue and aunt Shui can save me if anything goes wrong.".. said Xiao Tian with a serious and resolute expression.

Zhou Qi was surprised by Xiao Tian's fighting spirit and resoluteness. He decided to help him after some careful considerations.

" Master, mistress, let me protect young master from dangers while fighting the soul beasts.".. said Zhou Qi to Xiao Hai and Tian Shui.

Xiao Hai and Tian Shui had a troubled expression on their face.

Looking at his parents hesitating expressions, Xiao Tian decided to strike while the iron was hot.

" Mom, dad, I promise not to disobey you if I get injured during the fight. But, if I'm not injured, then I want you to promise me to let me continue fighting the soul beasts to train myself.".. said Xiao Tian with a serious expression.

Xiao Hai and Tian Shui thought for a moment and decided to give their son a chance. Internally, they were conflicted. They wanted to see their son win so that he can walk the cruel path of a soul master early on and sharpen his mentality, but at the same time they wanted him to lose so that he can be safe.

" Tian'er, remember what you said.".. Xiao Hai gave Xiao Tian an indirect approval.

looking at her husband's approval, Tian Shui also agreed to let him fight and told Xiao Tian to not talk about fighting soul beasts till he got his first soul ring if he was injured.

Xiao Tian was beyond happy, he looked gratefully at his parents and Zhou Qi.

" Uncle Zhou, please take care of my reckless son.".. said Xiao Hai to Zhou Qi while sighing.

" Master don't worry, I swear on my life to ensure young master's safety.".. said Zhou Qi with a serious expression.

Looking at Zhou Qi's expression, Xiao Hai was relieved.

" Tian'er, we'll be choosing the soul beast you fight.".. said Tian Shui with an expression that said 'don't you dare argue with me'.

Xiao Tian nodded helplessly at his mother's words.

" Don't worry third sister, I'll keep my mental power on Tian'er while he fights the soul beast. If Tian'er is about to be injured, I'll immediately kill the beast.".. said Ming Yue with a soft voice which became fierce by the end.

Ling Shui also promised to protect Xiao Tian from harms way.

Seeing this, both Tian Shui and Xiao Hai were moved. They quickly thanked Zhou Qi, Ming Yue and Ling Shui with a sincere and happy expression.

Xiao Tian went to his mother to get his Heavy Earth Spear from her spatial ring.

" Mom, can you give me my spear from your spatial ring.".. asked Xiao Tian, to which she quickly handed the spear to Xiao Tian.

" Thank you mom.".. said Xiao Tian.

Xiao Tian was just about to walk out of the carriage with Zhou Qi when Xiao Hai stopped him.

" Tian'er, let me remove the spear's gravity.".. said Xiao Hai to Xiao Tian.

Xiao Tian nodded and handed the Heavy earth Spear to Xiao Hai. Xiao Hai quickly removed the spear's gravity and handed it back to Xiao Tian.

Xiao Tian took the gravity less Heavy Earth Spear and walked out of the carriage with rest of the group.

Xiao Hai and Tian Shui quickly chose a beast for Xiao Tian to fight, it was a a 65 year old 'Gale Wolf'. The wolf could send out wind sphere from it's mouth, it took a few seconds for it to collect the wind energy in its mouth to form a sphere.

Xiao Tian and the group walked towards the lone Gale Wolf.

The Gale Wolf was eating a 43 year old 'Rage Bull', seemingly hunted by the Gale Wolf.

Xiao Hai and Tian Shui told him a few cautionary measured that he should be aware of. Xiao Tian listened seriously and kept the words in his heart.

They told him the weakness of the Gale Wolf. Attacking the Gale Wolf when it was gathering wind energy to form a wind sphere was the best time to attack the wolf.

The Gale Wolf couldn't move or retract the wind sphere while performing the wind sphere.

The rest of it's weakness were similar to that of normal animals like neck, abdomen, head, etc.

Xiao Tian strode towards the Gale Wolf with the Heavy Earth Spear in his right hand.

By the time Xiao Tian was 20 meters away from the Gale Wolf. The wolf noticed Xiao Tian and gave him a warning not to proceed further with a "grrrrr".

Xiao Tian obviously ignored it's warning a kept walking towards the wolf. The wolf seeing Xiao Tian a puny human ignore it's warning became angry and rushed towards him.

Xiao Tian stopped as soon a he saw the Gale Wolf rushing towards him and took a battle stance.

Although the wolf was fast, it wasn't half as fast as Tang San when using the Mysterious Heaven Technique.

The wolf's speed was slow in Xiao Tian's eyes as he had micro reaction due to strong soul/mental power and his body was strong enough to keep up with is thoughts.

The wolf jumped to bite off Xiao Tian's head.

Xiao Tian didn't move and just kept looking at the wolf underestimating himself.

Xiao Hai, Tian Shui, Ming Yue, Ling Shui and Zhou Qi thought Xiao Tian was scared stupid by the ferocious wolf's attack.

Little Yun Yun shut her eyes closed, afraid to see the bloody scene.

Just when Zhou Qi and the group were about to make move to kill the Gale Wolf before it harmed Xiao Tian, Xiao Tian crouched and attacked with his Spear at a frightening speed.

Before the wolf could react, the spear was already piercing out of his back neck and hanging on the spear in air.

The wolf tried to struggle, but it was all useless as was pierced through the neck and incurred damage to his spine.

Even before it's death, the wolf couldn't understand why the puny human it disdained could kill it in one blow without moving.

Well, it was just a beast and couldn't think intellectually like humans or smart creatures.

Xiao Tian looked at the wolf's bloodied corpse with an indifferent face.

Even Xiao Tian was suprised by his reaction, he then remembered his special soul ( Primordial Supreme Undying Soul ) with a passive feature to calm the mind when in battles.

Xiao Hai, Tian Shui, Ming Yue, Ling Shui and Zhou Qi were shocked by Xiao Tian's performance. Even though the wolf didn't use it's full power before being one shot Ko'd. The speed at which Xiao Tian attacked and his calmness was absolutely abnormal for a 3 year old child.

Xiao Tian's parents were even more shocked, as they knew that the gravity less Heavy Earth Spear weight a whopping 100 kg. Xiao Tian's ability to attack at such speed with only physical power made his parents think he was born with divine power.

Little Yun Yun slowly opened her eyes and was shocked to see Xiao Tian holding the spear with a bloodied wolf corpse hanging in the air with it's neck pierced by the spear head.

Little Yun Yun after her shock started vomitting after looking at the bloodied scene.

Well, that's what a normal 3 year old child is, not a freak like Xiao Tian.
