28 Descend of the Goddess

Blue and silver lights mingle with each other lighting up the forest further. No one was speaking even the forest itself seem to revere the divine presence, time felt like it stopped, then the one standing in the middle of all that brilliance and light levitating a bit above ground spoke

"My name is Estelle, the one known and praised as The Light Goddess by humans of Pefrion, and my reason for descending here is" pointing towards Lina and others she spoke with a sad voice

"To apologize to you all, to Lina you"

Hearing her voice awake Ryu from his slumber and dream and unlike others, he was hearing two voices at the same time, not just the voice coming out of Estelle's mouth he was also hearing her voice in his mind

'It was not intentional; I did not mean for it to happen' her voice come into Ryu's mind who was thinking

'She is really a different goddess, and what does she mean when she says she did not mean it to happen. he was her Holy Knight'

Coming back to her senses Lina and the others finally began moving all of them rushed towards fallen Hina and Aiena. When they check them for any injuries caused by the fall there was non all of the injuries were healed by the Goddess of Light looking towards her majestic presence her silver color eyes which looked calm, and her silver dress which emphasized her beauty with a youthful face and her blue hair of the same color as Brightest Star Lina could ask this in a low voice

"Why?"

Seeing her looking so weak and fed-up Estelle felt sympathy and her sadness, she said

"It was never my will for any of this to happen" in a low but clear voice she continued

"That Knight is not holy, at least the God that grants him blessing is not me. Something sinister is going in our world of Pefrion. You may already know the presence known as Evil God"

'We did not mean for any of this to happen to you Ryu, even prime goddess empowers me so I can help you' Ryu was hearing in her mind

'What do you mean, what help can you do can you bring back Ralph to me!!!' Ryu wishes she could hear his thoughts he did not know this telepathy is both ways and Goddess answered him while Lina, snow was matching eyes with her but both maids were unable to do that

'I can not bring him back to you, but I will sure help because the problem was caused by my church'

Before Ryu could ask anything, back Lina who was staring at Goddess asked in a desperate voice

"Goddess please answer me, is my baby evil, what is this darkness in him, what is Demon God, why that Holy knight aimed at us, is my baby a danger for the world!! Please Light Goddess answer me"

To this Goddess answered in a bright voice as if she was waiting for this question

"Lina your baby is not evil, I Goddess of mercy and Light won't judge a newborn no matter Human, Demon, Elf, Beastkins, or any other race" saying till here she stopped so Lina could accept what she said but Lina just pushed for further answer

"What about darkness and Demon God??" and Goddess answered

"For there is Darkness there is potential for more Light, not every darkness is evil. Night darkness is gentle and brings sweet slumber. Similarly, the darkness within your baby is calm and gentle not one that can be said evil. And the Blessing of Demon God is not something evil I vow on my name"

As she said this, she started to turn a bit transparent the time of the brightest star's disappearance was near so she hurriedly said

"I do not have much time and I cannot bestow a blessing to baby because of certain limitations right now. But can I bestow a name upon him??"

'I will help you escape from here so that you do not lose more import people this despairing Night' she spoke in Ryu's mind

"It would be an honor if you do Goddess" Lina answered despite everything that happened Goddess come in front of them and she answered her worries and clear her confusion. Lina still holds believe in her Goddess of Light and seeing this with a small transparent smile Goddess said in a voice with majestic feeling

"The one who will play a major part in the fate of the world suppressing his darkness and having a vessel which will accept Light too, power is born and blessed by a God not here. His name will represent his fate and his origins that go against every despair due to the love of people, he will be known as Ryu, Ryu Rivera. Ryu the name which means dragon in a language not known in this world!!"

As soon as she said this Lina hugged Ryu tightly as she said

"Ryu, my baby Ryu Rivera" everyone else even maids and Snow were speaking his name, and Aiena couldn't speak it correctly and spoke

"Lyu! !" and Goddess laughs at this cuteness but soon her expression turns sad as Lina who was hugging Ryu had tears coming out of her eyes, she was repeating the name

"My and Ralph's son Ryu, our lovely son he is not evil!!" everyone knew how many stones were off Lina's back at this moment even Aiena was crying she always believed that Ryu was not evil and now it was proved by Goddess herself. But Ryu himself was having a chat with Goddess telepathically at this time

'Ryu, did you not just rip off my last life name?? what is your relationship with the Goddess who reincarnated me tell me'

'I am sorry Ryu; I cannot impart more information as the law of God and Ryu really is a wonderful name. please don't go berserk over the sadness of tonight killing is not the only thing' she was going to say further but she was cut off by Ryu

'What are you talking about!!?? Even though I had made Killing knight my first Goal why would I go berserk!?"

'I had watched something called anime and read manga from your world which Prime Goddess told me about in it the person went mad after tragedy and shout kill kill kill!!, I do not want you to be like that as you are reincarnated for a purpose'

'What are you a fool anime is an anime and manga is manga, I won't be shouting kill kill, my revenge will be scarier than death it will be my motivation but it is not the only thing I will live for, I had a mom who gave up her everything for me, and also these people I cannot live a life for revenge only'

'That is relieving, I was worried you will become like that due to my church discord' Goddess speak in his mind and then continued

'I do not have much time left, as a part of my apology I will prepare an escape path which will take you all far' as she said this without giving Ryu chance to answer back, she spoke to Lina and other

"I can not stay here for long but as a part of my apology for the sins of people who are working under my church name, I will make sure to prepare an escape path with all power I can use for now to make sure you reach far enough that those who meant harm to you tonight won't reach you"

As she said this, she moved his hand towards the ground and a portal opened

"This portal leads to the Zerah Forest on the other side of the continent, even though there is a huge number of monsters in the forest this will keep you safe until Ryu, will hold it"

She said as she makes a light orb in between her hand as if pouring herself in it, then she pushed it a bit and it reached the hands of Ryu who hold it. The orb become 4 times brighter and Goddess said in his mind

'Don't leave or let it fall for a second it will be the only thing keeping those monsters away, even if Snow and Lina can fight this late in the night a surprise monster attack could threaten the little girl or maids, so please be careful and I am sorry again'

'If you have done it before that would be better, but thanks and I am sorry too someday I'll come and cause chaos in your church in this town to get that High Priest' with a bitter smile at Ryu's answer Estelle looked towards Lina

"I am sorry again for your loss," she said as she was disappearing

"I am sorry if only for a moment I doubted you Light Goddess, thanks for saving Hina's and Aiena's life" Lina replied, Aiena and Hina bowed their head

"Hurry up this portal will disappear along with me" the nearly disappearing Goddess said and they rushed inside the portal far from where they were on the opposite side of the continent in Zerah Forest. now they all were awed and still couldn't believe what happened as if it was all dream but them being in a completely different place all awake was proof enough that a Goddess descended to help them.
