Jiang Yi had indeed escaped through the passageway!
He knew full well that the two gods were fighting above ground. He was only a shrimp; he was sure to die if he engaged in battle with any one of those gods. His only way out of death was to run away. The further he could run, the better. Wherever there was a road, he would run. Although he was likely to meet danger while running in this underground path with fire spurting out from time to time, he could not afford to care too much.
The passage was quite huge and deep. He had already run three hundred kilometers, but he still could not see the end of the road. How much longer was there to go? What could he expect to see inside? Jiang Yi had no idea. All he could do was continue to charge forward.
