Dragon God’s Suppression

Izashi's relentless fists pummeled Kokabiel's gut, each blow resounding with a sickening thud that reverberated through the battlefield. Ten strikes, precise and unyielding, each one forcing a grunt of pain from Kokabiel's lips. Despite the angel's resistance, Izashi's power was overwhelming. But then, Kokabiel tightened his grip on the Excalibur, his fingers wrapping around the sacred hilt like a lifeline.

A sudden surge of Holy Magic burst from Kokabiel, gathering at a single point near Izashi's feet. Sensing the rising energy, Izashi quickly released his hold on both Kokabiel's sword and hand, leaping back with a sharp exhale. The impact of the Holy Magic exploded around him, sending dust spiraling into the air, clouding his vision. For a moment, the battlefield was silent, but Izashi's senses were heightened; he wasn't one to be caught off guard so easily.

Through the swirling dust, he spotted something — Kokabiel, his silhouette barely visible, summoning hundreds of Light Spears. The spears glowed a brilliant white, illuminating the battlefield like stars in the night sky before shooting toward Izashi at breakneck speed.

"Tch," Izashi clicked his tongue in mild annoyance, his body moving instinctively as he jumped high into the air, dodging the barrage of spears with effortless precision. His movements were graceful, each dodge a calculated dance in the sky. But Kokabiel wasn't done. More spears materialized, their deadly tips aimed directly at Izashi, who remained suspended in the air.

With a smirk, Izashi extended his hand, focusing his devil magic into a single point. Energy surged around him as he began to form a brilliant, radiant arrow. The arrow wasn't just any ordinary attack—it shimmered with power, its tip emblazoned with the symbol of the Sun. The golden glow radiating from it was almost blinding, a testament to the sheer amount of energy Izashi was pouring into the creation.

From below, Kokabiel's eyes narrowed, sensing the growing danger. Realizing the futility of his Light Spears against Izashi, he ceased his attacks and focused his own energy. His hands began to craft a weapon, a Holy Halberd, its shaft glowing with divine power. Kokabiel infused it with enough intensity to rival the strength of Izashi's arrow. The two warriors locked eyes, their unspoken challenge hanging in the air.

"Survive this, mutt!" Izashi's voice cut through the wind as he unleashed his arrow. "Hellfire Arrow!"

Kokabiel responded immediately, his voice filled with confidence. "Holy Halberd!"

The two attacks met in the air with a thunderous clash. The Hellfire Arrow began to morph, expanding and shifting until it took the shape of a massive, ethereal Phoenix, its wings blazing with unholy flames. The Holy Halberd, glowing with Kokabiel's divine magic, slammed into the Phoenix's body. For a moment, it seemed like the Phoenix might overpower the Halberd, but then Kokabiel clenched his fists and roared, "BURST!"

The Halberd exploded in a burst of light, its energy scattering the Phoenix's form into the wind. Kokabiel smirked, satisfied with his defense, but he failed to notice Izashi's sudden movement. Using the explosion as cover, Izashi had vanished from sight, hidden by the debris and smoke.

Before Kokabiel could react, Izashi descended from the sky at full speed. In a flash, Izashi appeared before him, his fist already drawn back. Kokabiel's eyes widened, his instincts too slow to match Izashi's speed.

BAM!

Izashi's punch landed squarely on Kokabiel's face, the force of the blow sending the fallen angel flying backward. Kokabiel tumbled through the air before crashing into the ground with a violent thud, groaning in pain. The Excalibur slipped from his grasp, its holy aura fading as Kokabiel's connection to the sword severed. The once-mighty weapon, which had bolstered Kokabiel's strength, now lay dormant on the battlefield.

Izashi floated above, his red hair whipping around in the wind, his eyes fixated on the Excalibur. Slowly, he descended and landed lightly on his feet, his gaze never leaving the holy blade. The sword glowed faintly, but even touching it was dangerous for someone of Izashi's devil heritage. Still, without hesitation, Izashi reached down and grasped the hilt.

The moment his skin made contact with the blade, a searing pain shot through his arm. The holy energy embedded in the sword reacted violently to his devil magic, weakening his strength, but Izashi endured the pain with a grim expression. His hand tightened around the sword as he lifted it, feeling its weight, testing its power. He was unbothered by the harm it caused his body.

Suddenly, his eyes changed. The crimson red shifted to a brilliant gold, and an overwhelming dragon aura surged from his body. The air around him thickened with an oppressive power, and the ground beneath him trembled. Kokabiel, still recovering, looked up and saw the transformation, his breath catching in his throat.

At that moment, everyone on the battlefield felt the weight of Izashi's dragon aura. It was suffocating, primal, and terrifying. Issei, standing at a distance, felt his knees buckle. He collapsed to the ground, gasping for breath as the pressure bore down on him.

"Wh-What is this?!" Issei stammered, his voice weak.

Ddraig, the Red Dragon Emperor within Issei, recognized the power immediately. "This... This is the aura of a Dragon God!" he growled in Issei's mind, his tone filled with both awe and dread.

Vali, who had just arrived on the scene, felt the same suffocating pressure. His legs trembled beneath him, and for the first time, he found himself struggling to stay upright. Albion, the White Dragon Emperor within Vali, quickly identified the source of the power.

"This is no ordinary dragon," Albion spoke within Vali's mind, his tone unusually reverent. "This is a power beyond even my own. A Dragon God… This is the strength that rivals the Great Red and Ophis."

Vali's pride stung at Albion's words. He had always believed himself capable of reaching the pinnacle of dragon power, but now, staring at Izashi, his confidence wavered.

"Izashi Gremory… is that really you?" Vali muttered under his breath, his eyes narrowing as he gazed at the red-haired devil standing before him. The golden eyes staring back at him were filled with a cold, unrelenting power.

Izashi's gaze shifted to Vali, his lips curving into a faint, mocking smile. "Vali Lucifer… Do you still think you can defeat me with that Juggernaut Drive of yours?" His voice was calm, but the threat behind it was unmistakable.

Vali didn't respond immediately, his mind racing as he considered his options.

Albion's earlier words echoed in his head, telling him that even with his evolved form, he wouldn't be a match for Izashi's current strength.

It was a bitter pill to swallow, but Vali knew when to retreat. For now, Izashi was far beyond him.

Meanwhile, Kokabiel, still lying in a crumpled heap, had become an afterthought. Izashi, without sparing the fallen angel another glance, gripped the Excalibur tightly.

His golden eyes flashed as he applied pressure, and with a sharp snap, the holy blade shattered into pieces. The fragments fell to the ground, reverting to the five individual swords from which it had been forged.

Izashi's dragon aura continued to flare but he reduced the pressure on everyone else.

Vali, regaining his composure, stood up slowly, but his gaze remained fixed on Izashi, wary and calculating.

Before either of them could speak, a loud, ancient voice echoed from Issei's gauntlet. "White one! Are you ignoring me?!"

Albion's voice replied calmly, "Know your place, Ddraig. You are beneath my concern."

"Tch," Ddraig grumbled in frustration, but Issei's mind was elsewhere. His eyes were locked on Vali, the White Dragon Emperor, who had become his destined rival.

"Um, Vali-san," Issei began hesitantly, scratching his head. "Ddraig says we're supposed to be rivals and fight until one of us dies, but… I don't really agree with him. Can we just… not do that?"

Ddraig roared in indignation within Issei's mind, furious at his wielder's refusal to engage in their fated battle. "What are you doing, you fool?! This is your chance to fight the White Dragon Emperor!"

Vali, however, was barely paying attention to Issei. His focus was still on Izashi, his mind wrestling with the implications of the devil's newfound strength. He turned to Albion, silently conversing with the dragon within.

After a few moments, Vali finally spoke, his voice cold and determined. "Since fate has brought us together today, let's settle this. Show me your strength, Red Dragon Emperor, and if you prove worthy… I'll let the people around you live—"

Before Vali could finish his threat, Izashi appeared beside him in an instant. His hand shot out, gripping Vali's head with crushing force. The air around them seemed to freeze as Izashi's golden eyes bore into him as he whispered, "Threaten even a single one and I will make sure that the lucifer's bloodline and this Divine Dividing's legacy will end with you right now."

The Golden Eyes, the power in his eyes and the power coursing through his arms made Vali really fear him now. This was the first time, he felt such a fear coursing through his own body, telling him to just run. No point in fight or resisting, it was better to run away right now!
