I want A Life for One Forgiveness

"Greetings Third Uncle" Mizar greeted Kans's third uncle as he shot a deadly glare to the servant behind the third uncle. The servant felt a chill all over his bodies from the deadly glare.

Although the servant beat Kans, it was now Mizar's body. He was annoyed that the first thing after waking up in another world is pain all over his body, and the cause of it was this servant. He also felt sentiment towards Kans as they had lived similar lives. So he thought he should at least kill this servant for both him and Kans.

'Hmm' Kans's Third uncle was a little surprised. Whenever Kans saw him before, he would always tilt his head downwards, but today he not only held his head high but look at his servants like that.

"I heard that my servant had a little fight with you. I was worried you had got injured, so I came to see, and I also dragged him here so he could ask for your forgiveness." One could see that although he had a benevolent voice, he had a malevolent expression on his face.

Kans's third uncle, Rong Sain, was a Clan Elder and had a few servants assigned to him. These servants were mortals, that is they haven't been awakened as a mage, or you could say they weren't allowed to.

Many clans keep servants on this continent. These servants did some small cumbersome tasks and were also used as cannon fodder during wars and beast raids that frequently occur.

Servants weren't allowed to awaken as clan higher-ups are afraid they might revolt if they were awakened and given some powers. If someone is accidentally awakened, he and all of his family members are killed.

Servants were the lowest of the low and had to treat every clan member they see with respect. But the servants under Sain "fought" with Kans so badly that he died. So it would implicate Rong Sain and his political career. Other Elders could suppress him with reasons such as servant under Rong Sain beat up the "Previous Clan Leader's Son", Rong Sain has used servants to kill his fellow Clan Member.

Rong Sain was planning to throw the corpse of Kans to the forest for wild beasts to eat and blame that Kans was eaten by wild beasts while searching for herbs in the forest. Even if someone saw his servants beating Kans, he would just have killed the servant and his whole family.

Beating and killing were different things. You could make all sorts of reasons for beating like he was fighting for some money, practising martial arts, etc. Kans was such a pussy that he wouldn't have said something for himself. Living a life of douchebag when his father was still alive, he had offended many peoples, and now he has become such a pussy, he doesn't even dare to retaliate against a servant, let alone a clan elder.

Mizar couldn't kill a clan elder openly in such broad daylight, so he had to think of something. sneered inwardly, but he made a touching expression on his face as he said, "Third Uncle, thank you for caring about me, no one on this clan cares about me as much as you. You came to see if your nephew is all right, even if it was such a small fight." Mizar started sobbing with his hand covering his eyes.

'What is this kid saying, anyway, it's good that he thinks this way. At least my political career is safe. Anyway, now I should think of some ways to make my son Young Clan Leader.' He didn't doubt that Kans was faking it. If Kans could fake such a thing, he wouldn't be living like this. Anyway, who would think a douchebag could fake such a thing and make it seem real?

"Third Uncle, I recently found what seems like an inheritance left behind by a senior mage. Many Wild Beasts are roaming around the location of inheritance so I couldn't explore it alone and I was thinking of asking someone to go with me." Mizar said in a sincere and helpless tone.

Rung Sain was tempted by the words of Mizar and cursed his servant for nearly killing him. How could he get the inheritance if Kans was killed?

"Don't worry my dear nephew, and I will help you get that inheritance. Bring me there." He said in a caring tone. He was a Junior Mage, and Senior Mage was two levels above him. If he could get the inheritance then all the comprehension of the mage, magic spells, potions, were his to take. Even if the mage was of a different path than him, he could sell spells, potions, and he can also comprehend something from the comprehension left behind. In short, it was a win-win situation for him. As for Kans, who cares if he gets the inheritance or not, only the strong's voices are heard.

"Thank you, Third uncle. Please follow me." Mizar said as he walked out of the door. The surrounding outside was not the least pleasant. There were small hills of wastes outside. There was a path curving through the three-four small hills of wastes. The smell here was many times higher than inside the room. Mizar wondered how a person of high status as Kan's third uncle could come here.

Mizar glanced at him to see that he was breathing as if there was no bad smell in the air. He quickly realized that his uncle was using magic to purify the air as he breathed. Rung Sain was a Junior Wind Mage, and such a thing was an easy feat for him.

As Mizar led the way, the trio of elder and servants followed him. On the way, people kept greeting Sain, and some threw gazes of disdain and contempt towards Mizar. He ignored those gazes and kept on walking.

On the street, children were playing; carriages were moving, some people were trying to sell some potions in their shop, some were exchanging their views on magic, some were wounded, probably on some clan missions. It was a lively atmosphere of a clan. He went through many turns to finally get in front of the where Clan Leaders and Elders lived.

"Where is the inheritance ground you spoke of? Is it here?" Sain asked in a slightly curious tone. He has been living here for years but saw nothing related to inheritance. How did this kid find out about it?

"Haha...What Inheritance? It was all a lie...hehehe" Mizar spoke in a ridiculing tone.

"YOU BRAT! YOU DARE TO MAKE A FOOL OUT OF ME!! DIE!!!" He was so angry that he almost puked blood. He started chanting incantation for the magic spell but before he could finish chanting Mizar began shouting.

"HELP!HELP!! The FOURTH ELDER IS TRYING TO KILL ME! HELP!!!" Mizan shouted as loudly as he could. Hearing the shout, many people couldn't help but to come and see what was happening.

As the incident was just outside the residence of Clan Leader and Elders, they arrived quickly.

"Greetings Clan Leader" Both Mizar and Rung Sain spoke at the same time. The Clan Leader of Rung Clan, Rung Dun is a Senior Transformation Mage with orange hair white towards the end. He looked young, despite being in the mid-40s. Rung Sain trying to kill fellow clan members right in front of his house as an Elder was good was slapping his face. He will be an incompetent Clan Leader if he just let it slide.

He glanced at Mizar for a second before directing his gaze at Rung Sain.

"What happened here?" He asked in an angry voice.

"Lord Clan Leader, Fourth Elder somehow came to know that I had information about the inheritance of a Senior Mage. So he first told his servant to torture me to give the information, but I didn't give in. So he came, I was afraid he might kill me, so I led him here to seek protection from you." Mizar told Clan Leader his version of the story in a sorrowful tone.

"Stop lying brat, when did I order my servant to torture you for information?" Rung Sain was furious for being accused of the wrong thing.

"If you don't believe me look at my clothes and my body," Mizar replied confidently. It was true that the servant had beat him, but it had nothing to do with Sain. Now he is implicated as a greedy person who would kill even his fellow clan members for benefit.

"Yes. It seems that you have been beaten up quite a bit and I'm surprised to see you living and walking in this state. But we can't be sure he did it."Rung Dun said in a pitiful tone.

"Did you beat him like this? Tell the truth." Rung Dun looked at the servant in a ferocious gaze.

"N..No..No, I didn't do anything" The servant spoke while moving backwards. The aura of Mage was something, which a Mortal could handle.

"Tell the truth. If you lie, you die." Rung Dun spoke in a threatening tone.

"Forgive me, Yes I was the one who did it" The servant began kneeling and crying on the ground.

"Fourth Elder, aren't you asking for forgiveness or do you think clan rules don't apply to you, trying to kill a fellow clan member in broad daylight?" Rung Dun furrowed his brows.

"Fo- Forgive me" Rung Sain could barely speak because of his anger.

"Yes, I will forgive you, but it will take a little price," Mizar said with a grin on his face.

"Don't push your luck, brat, don't think of asking anything extravagant!" Sain said in a furious voice.

"Oh, it's nothing extravagant. I just want one life for one forgiveness. So it's two lives to get my forgiveness for two people," Mizar said in a cold voice.
