Chunin Exams Pt.III

Hinata hoped that her extra work would pay off. She didn't believe in hard work if the results were still mundane. She took out many teams and sent the Uzumaki away before they could claim a spot. She couldn't remember exactly how many teams passed the second test during the canon, but she had a feeling there were a lot fewer people now than there were during the anime.

The third Hokage stared at all of the young genins. He saw some that he expected, and others were a pleasant surprise. Looking over the former Hyuga heiress, he focused on her sword as he recalled watching her practice the Second Hokage's Kenjutsu. He began to wonder how much of it she managed to complete and if she was able to successfully execute the forms that require the Flying Thunder God Jutsu. He also recalled that she practiced alongside and mastered the shadow clone Jutsu with Naruto, so mastery of skills wasn't a pipe dream for the girl if she knew how to properly apply the technique.

If it wasn't for the Kurenai's mission report, the third Hokage would have to admit that he saw no great future for the girl that lost her inheritance to her younger sister. Now, as he scrutinized Hinata with a nonbiased eye, he noticed many things that he should have noticed as a Shinobi and definitely as a Hokage. The Hokage suddenly had a bone to pick with the Hyuga Clan leader as Hinata appeared to be a greater Genius than Sasuke Uchiha and Neji Hyuga.

The Third Hokage could sense how her chakra burned bright, even, with a gentle intensity, the lightly coated her body at all times, signifying her mastery of the Gentle Fist. The Hyuga blood was one of the multiple gifts similar to the Uzumaki. The Hyuga has the ability to exert chakra from all of the chakra points. A master Hyuga is able to maintain chakra flow from every point. Combine with their Byakguan, it was almost an absolute defense.

While many people believed that Hinata was weak and unskilled, only a handful of them identified her as unambitious, too caring, lazy, recluse, and so on. But never would they say Hinata Hyuga is weak. Even her overuse of the air palm was to hide that she could already perform Jutsu only available to Jonin level Hyuga of the main family.

The Third Hokage then assessed her demeanor and physique. The perverted old man first noted her blossoming body and her disregard for how much skin she showed. He also noticed her strength and her weighted bracers. He took a glance at Might Guy and made a mental note to speak with him as well. as he remembered the two weeks that Might Guy went on leave around the time that Kurenai was sent to take over Hinata's training at the request of Hinata's father.

'Hinata is twelve and was taken under Kurenai's wing at eight years old. Four years of Guy's training. If she has an ounce of Rock Lee's talent, she's a monster. If she's anything like Guy, it wouldn't be wrong to call her a new devil. That's ridiculous. This child is becoming more terrifying by the second. And if her body is a prime as I think it is, the burden of the Second Hokage's Jutsus shouldn't cause her many problems.' The Hokage thought to himself.

His eyes shifted back to Hinata once more, and he wondered how many secrets the girl was truly hiding, as most Jutsu is hidden in the heart of shinobi and not their physique. His eyes shifted, and he looked at Kiba, Shino, Tenten, Sakura, and Ino. Each of them all gave off a new tempered feeling that they didn't have during the academy graduation.

Instead of feeling threatened, the Hokage sighed and took solace in the fact that the youth had potential that will only serve to protect the village once he is long gone. It was for this reason, he allowed Naruto to practice with Scroll of Sealing and learn the shadow clone jutsu. Hinata being there was a plus.

The old man is very conning and scary analytical. That is why the short moment of observation made him slightly ashamed. Though he was proud and hopeful, he couldn't help but sigh at his neglect of the younger generation without the appointment of a fifth Hokage. If we were to die today, the power vacuum would be devastating.

"Congratulations!" said the Hokage, "You have all passed the second test."

"Bring in the final test on already!" Naruto shouted in his usual hyperactive manner.

"Quite you big dummy!" Sakura growled as she knocked him over the head.

"We expected three teams to pass this test, but five isn't bad. Manageable." Said the Hokage. "With that being said, is there anyone not up for the next test as it will be more gruesome than the previous."

Hinata looked over at Team 7 and wondered how everything would play out with Sasuke being infected with the Curse Mark. The team whispered amongst each other, and Sakura was getting emotional as she was about to slowly raise her hand until Naruto put a heavy hand on her shoulder.

Hinata watched, interested in this new change of events, as Sakura gasped Naruto's hand and whispered something to him. Sasuke hung his head as he sighed. He then grasped her other shoulder and whispered his piece as Sakura gave a reluctant smile.

Hinata smirked at the scene and subtle displays of affections and care. "Way to go, Sakura," Hinata muttered.

Ino leaned over to Hinata and whispered, "It happened during their last mission. She doesn't think so, but she obviously has two boyfriends."

Ino couldn't help gossiping. But Hinata didn't mind as Ino's gossip was always factual and highly entertaining. Hinata didn't expect any less from the heiress of an intelligence clan.

"What happened?" Hinata asked.

"Our training paid off. She helped a lot during her mission, and Naruto asked for help. She said yes, and it was downhill from there." Ino explained.

"And the emo boy?" Hinata asked, causing Ino to snicker.

"Arrogant, prideful, with a superiority complex. Of course, he got jealous that his fan girl had other focuses and his rival was improving. So he asked for help, and Sakura said yes. Now we have one emotionally confused Sakura."

Hinata giggled. "I say take them both."

Ino laughed and leaned to the other side and told Tenten. Tenten laughed and gave Ino fifteen Ryo.

Ino leaned back towards Hinata and said, "I told Tenten you would say that. She didn't think so. Now I'm fifteen Ryo richer."

"Tsk...you little bitches. Who said you could gamble on me. Just wait until we get out of here." Hinata hissed with a grim smirk.

Ino went white and told Tenten, who also lost the color in her face.

"No one?!" The Hokage finally spoke as no one stepped forward to resign. "Good, you lot have Grit. In one month, the final exam will take place. A series of one on one matches to be spectated by the village and allied Daimyo...

Hayate, please step forward... Each of you will pull a number from the box. Then you will wait for further instruction."

Hayate Gekko, a specialist Jonin of the leaf village, stepped forward with a large wooden box in hand. Hayate had short brown hair, dark-colored eyes, and dark markings under his eyes. Even though he was a young man, he had pronounced lines under his eyes as well as an unexplained chronic cough that plagued him. He wore the standard Konoha shinobi outfit complete with a forehead protector that he wore as a bandanna, flak jacket, and regular shinobi sandals. He also carried a katana with a rectangular handguard strapped over his back.

Hinata focused on his Katana and suddenly remembered that this guy was one of the only Kenjutsu users in the village before his death. But he would soon be dead, so she put all thoughts of training with him aside.

As Hayate went from genin to genin, they each chose a number and waited until the last number was drawn and the box was empty.

"When your number is called..." Hayate suddenly stopped as a coughing fit took over. "You will raise your hand and keep it raised until told otherwise."

"Number 1?!" Hayate called out.

Ino and Sakura's hands went up.

"2?!"

Tenten and Temari of the sand

"3?!"

Shino and Kankuro of the sand

"4?!"

Rock Lee and Gara of the sand

"5?!"

Neji and Enma of the Rain

"6?!"

Sasuke and Kiba

"7?!"

Naruto and Shika of the Rain

"8?!"

Hinata and Choji

"9?!"

Shikamaru and Kai of the Rain

"This is the order the matches will be fought. The matches will continue until one remains. " The Hokage spoke again, "Take this month to rest well and prepare for the coming battle."

Sometime later, the rookie nine and Team Guy were enjoying barbecue together. While Choji was stuffing his face, not everyone could enjoy themselves as Naruto and Sakura were both worried about Sasuke, the only member of the Rookie nine who was absent. He had been taken away by Kakashi after the second round concluded.

"I'm just going to ask." Said Shikamaru, "Does anyone else feel a bit freaked after the second test?"

The genin all shared glances, but no one wanted to say anything.

"Fuck it..." Hinata sighed as she knew Team Six was already aware. " Orochimaru, the legendary traitorous Sannin, is in the leaf village, and he sent people after my Team."

Kiba's lips moved, causing Shino and Hinata to kick him before he could speak. The Idiot had forgotten already that the Uzumaki were a Team Eight secret.

Sakura shivered at the name, and Naruto reached out to console her. Sakura could only remember herself being demolished by Orochimaru before she lost conciseness, leaving Naruto and Sasuke to fight on their own.

Naruto had similar thoughts as a sense of helplessness washed over him. "The perverted snake guy, eh?" he growled.

"That's him. Probably posed as a grass ninja." Said Hinata.

Naruto growled, "That's him."

"Is this Orchimaru guy the reason that the Grass Shinobi and Rain shinobi teamed up to attack you guys?" Rock Lee asked Sakura.

"Maybe..." she muttered, recalling the face off against six Shinobi to protect Naruto and Sasuke after the battle against Orochimaru left them unconscious. It wasn't until Rock Lee arrived that she had a chance of survival.

"What's odder is that none of the Jonin addressed it. It was like nothing was going on. And those Sand Shinobi..." Shikamaru paused as he shivered, and Choji stiffened.

"We watched them kill a squad. It was gruesome." Ino added.

"If the Jonin isn't worried, neither should we." Said Hinata. "Look, I have some training to do. If you're all worried, I suggest you train as well." Hinata got up and moved to leave.

She then stopped and pulled a scroll out of a storage scroll. She then tossed it to Neji. "Nii-san, I'm sure Tenten will be more than happy to help you."

Tenten blushed, and Hinata chuckled to herself as she continued on her way.

The days that followed were quiet as all the genin prepared for the Final Exams. Hinata prepared for the worst and ways to make the best of the chaos. It wasn't like she was a die-hard leaf shinobi. And for the most part, she knew the village would be able to handle the coming attack.

"Hey, little bitch!" Ino and Tenten called out as Hinata was sitting under a shade tree reading up on her clan history and a few documents Kurenai managed to swipe for her.

Hinata looked up from her reading with a smile. She then vanished from her spot and appeared behind Ino and Tenten. Her left hand was fondling Ino breast and her right hand cupping Tenten's pussy as she wore a lascivious smile. Her fingers moved, and the girls turned red and moaned as they fought Hinata off to no avail. Hinata then gives them both a kiss on the cheek before releasing them.

"You cheated!" Tenten whined. "You aren't wearing your weights!"

Hinata just laughed and walked by them. She knew they enjoyed it while Sakura was the only one in the group with thoughts only filled with boys. During their first Kunoichi's Night, Hinata had gotten a bit carried away and showed the girls new ways to pass the time with each other. While Tenten and Ino enjoyed it immensely, Sakura was on the stubborn side, only giving in when she could boss around and toy with Ino.

"I've missed you, girls!" Hinata sang as she patted the ground beside her.

Ino and Tenten happily joined her.

"Where's Sakura?" Hinata asked.

"Probably getting spit-roasted by Naruto and his shadow clone." Ino spoke, and the girls giggled, "Sasuke is off with Kakashi Sensei--"

Hinata moaned in delight when she heard the name of the man that was a constant cause of many of her wet dreams. Tenten rolled her eyes as she muttered, "Horny bitch..."

Hinata playful smacks Tenten's leg as Ino continued.

"Sasuke is off with Kakashi Sensei training. Naruto found a new trainer, and Sakura is with him."

"Sounds fun... What about you two? Why aren't you training?" Hinata asked.

"We have been. I even helped Neji with his training, but he's so dense." Tenten sighed as she imagined the face of her crush.

"There's training, then there's dating, Tenten. Training puts you two alone in the same place. But if you want to do something together, you can't be afraid to ask him out." Said Ino.

"The girl doesn't ask the guy." Tenten became haughty.

"Bwahaha." Hinata and Ino laughed in unison.

"In this village, you do. Guys would rather read Icha Icha and perv through the bathhouse window than take intuitive and ask us out. Shino and Kiba perv on Kurenai and I all the time. We just put on a show and beat them later just cause. All they have to do is ask. I actually like them. I wouldn't mind being the first pair of tits they touch." Hinata spoke nonchalantly.

Ino smiled. "I asked Choji on the last mission if he wanted to put his mouth to better use and nearly choked on his potato chips."

Ino giggled sinisterly as she laid her head in Hinata's lap.

"You bitches are uncouth." Said Tenten, drawing laughter from her friends. "But let's say I did want to ask him for a meal, how would I?"

Ino rolled her eyes as Hinata groaned.

"Figure it out, Tenten. It's like Kunoichi 101. Don't let Kurenai Sensei hear you ask that. She'll send your ass back to the academy." Said Ino.

"Anyway! I'm glad you two are here. I was just wondering how much I can trust you two." said Hinata.

"I'm in." Ino and Tenten spoke in unison as they could feel Hinata was up to no good.

Hinata smiled and Instantly teleport them to a spot outside of the village. Ino and Tenten looked shocked, but Hinata further stumped them when she said, "We're going to rob the village. Not just us, the Uzumaki team as well."

"What?!"

"The Uzumaki Team is dead. They never made it out of the forest of death." Said Tenten.

"They are alive and well." Said Hinata.

"How are we supposed to rob a village full of shinobi, and what are we robbing?" Ino asked.

"During the Chunin Finals and we're Robing the Hyuga Clan, Hashirama Senju's Grave, and the Hokage's Residence for the scroll of Seals."

Ino and Tenten suddenly became nervous.

"We would need the entire village to go to sleep for a day if we want to get away with this. " Said Tenten.

Hinata walked over to her, cupped her face then gave her a soft kiss on the lips. "We can do this." Said Hinata, "WE can do this...I can't do it without you."

Tenten lightly licks her lips as she held eye contact with Hinata. She then nodded slowly, agreeing to Hinata's outrageous plan.

Hinata smiled and took Ino and Tenten to Kurenai for Genjutsu training. Meanwhile, Hinata continued to read up on her clan history and the missing ninja that she planned to go after once the Chunin Exams were over. Besides Hinata's lessons at the Hospital and her occasional spars with Sakura, Tenten, with whoever wielded a sword, Hinata didn't do much.
