Chunin Exams Pt. V

The atmosphere was tense, and everyone honed in on Sasuke and Gaara. It was the most hoped-for match of all. I'm sure everyone was pleasantly surprised by the display of talent the contestants showed throughout the day. But The sand village's finest against the leaf village's Sharingan is a match to be witnessed.

Ino and I drifted away, and Tenten left the stands. By the time the match began, we three were standing at the entrance of the arena. They didn't want us to leave, but that was an easy hurdle to overcome as a few strikes to pressure points was all it took to put the two guards down.

"What now?" Ino asked.

"Senju district. The First Hokage's grave is a monument. We're going to crack it open." I replied.

"Hai!"

We scattered and reappeared near a small statue of Hashirama Senju and his brother, Tobirama. "Ino...."

"Yeah yeah." Ino spoke as she stepped forward and formed for hand signs, "Earth Style: Stone Crumbling Grasp."

Ino fingers dived into the stone statue, her hands locked down, and the statue fell to pebbles and sand. Slicing open the coffin, we couldn't help but gasp as Hashirama's chakra was so immense that his body looked like he had died recently and not years ahead of our time. Examining his body, he was missing a few organs, but his heart was present, and his limbs were still attached to his body.

I quickly moved the body into a summoning scroll.

"Ino, crack open the Second Hokage's tomb," I tell her.

"Why him?" She asked.

"I want his sword. It was forged by the Senju Clan and wild by the Second Hokage his entire life. Only legendary swords survive such intensity." I explained.

"Like Sakura's Kubikiribōchō." Said Tenten.

"Yes. Battles will be harder from here on out. I need one sword that can carry the burden of a lifetime of war."

Ino stepped to the second grave, then A coffin burst from the earth. Opening the coffin, Tobirama Senju was in a similar state as his brother. His sword was also in pristine condition. So I take the sword, then rip the man's heart out before moving to the Hokage residence to wait.

"Hinata? What are we waiting for?" Tenten asked, "If we aren't back before Sasuke's match ends, they'll start looking for us."

"I have shadow clones lying in wait. We'll be just fine." I told them as I used my Byakugan to scan the village. "While we're waiting, I have to ask. Just how good are you at fuinjutsu?"

"I--I'm decent. Storage scrolls...sealing items is scrolls is what I do. My most powerful sealing scroll took me two days to complete." Tenten replied.

"If I gave you a seal to practice. Like a Kage level seal, how long would you need to master it?"

Tenten thought for a moment, then said, "Mastery isn't the problem, I chose fuinjutsu, and bukijutsu became my chakra pool is small. But the greater the seal, the more chakra required, chakra that I don't have. That's why I specialize in sealing items into scrolls. It's the easiest, least expensive of the sealing techniques."

"I can get you the chakra you need. I just need you to master the seal." I reiterate.

"Hinata, what is all of this about?" Ino asked.

"Freedom Ino. Freedom to fight and Freedom to walk away. Liberation of oneself from society and the whims of celestials. I just want to party with my girls and a bunch of cute guys. I want to drink myself dumb and act as I please, crushing all those who oppose with a finger. Be tyrannical to be unfettered."

"But aren't we free already?" Ino asked.

"The moment your will comes in conflict with the Kage's. This illusion of freedom will be crushed. The moment we do anything that goes against the establishment, this illusion of freedom will be crushed. As long as we stay in our place, then yes, Ino, we are free."

"I knew you were different after that night." Said Tenten, "I knew you were someone beyond us. That whatever you do, it'll be great. Then I understood that you wanted us to be great with you. That's why you help us train."

Tenten went silent for a moment then looked at Ino. "We aren't free." she said, "What would the village do if they ever found out how we touch each other and enjoy it. What will the Hyuga do to Hinata?"

"That's why we're here." I say, "We're here so that one day the answer to that will be irrelevant. Trust me and watch how we step amongst the stars without equals and soak in the pleasures of the world no matter how depraved they may be."

Tenten smiled, and Ino breathed heavily.

"Am I the only one feeling anxious about this?" Ino asked.

"Pretty much." "Yup"

Then a great explosion sounded, followed by the appearance of three massive snakes towering over the village.

"Now!" I bark.

The veins around my eyes bulge with intensity as I led Ino and Tenten into the Hokage Residence. The moment we entered, I scanned the building, then pushed through the halls. As I said before, knowledge of the future is extremely powerful.

As Shinobi moved to protect the village, the Hokage residence was left vulnerable as the Hokage himself was still at the stadium.

"This is the place." I use an air palm to blow the doors down. We rushed in, snatched the scroll of sealing. I then look to my left as I spot specialist Jonin coming to inspect the commotion.

"Hold me."

Ino and Tenten grab my shoulder, and we vanish. The moment we appeared, I witnessed a sight never showed in the canon. Shinobi from the village Hidden in the cloud were attacking the Hyuga clan. I immediately create a shadow clone then dispel it.

To keep my father and grandfather distracted, I left a shadow clone behind to be easily kidnapped. But if the clan needs them, then my schemes can be put on hold. A moment after my clone dispelled and its knowledge updates that clones I left at the stadium, My father, grandfather, and sister appeared at the clan.

My father frowned at me, and I simply smiled at him. Another non-Hyuga jutsu learned is another mark of disgrace. But whether he admitted it or not, the Flying Thunder God Jutsu just saved lives.

"Ino, Tenten, forget everything and go help defend the village."

"No, we'll help you here," said Ino.

I gave them a firm nod and dropped the weights strapped to my legs and arms. I stretch a bit, then follow my Grandfather and father into the clan to face the unruly cloud ninja. Without my weights, I moved like the wind. Speed and strength cultivated from years of Might Guy's training.

With just taijutsu, I crushed men with a palm, shattered stone walls with bodies, and split the earth with a kick.

"Ahhh!" I suddenly heard a scream from a branch member.

I look to my left and see the long silver-haired girl. She was being held as a cloud ninja drew his hand back to snatch the eyes out of the girl's head. Behind the man were few bodies of Hyuga clansmen with their eyes purged by the cursed seal placed on them. That was the true purpose of the Cursed seal --the protection of the Byakugan.

I thrust my palm forward, and a jet of air fired off. The shinobi dodged it, and I appeared by the woman's side. I grab her then fled. When I returned to engage the man, I understood how he killed so many Hyuga. He used their stubborn traditional ways against them.

As the man fought from a distance with clones, weapons, and ninjutsu, he released a stream of fire laced with senbon. I appear in front of my grandfather and use the rotation jutsu to protect him. He was getting old, and his eyes were obviously slipping. Or his body could no longer keep up with his eyes.

"Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu!" I shout after drawing my ninjato.

Fifteen clones appear.

"Kill everything that isn't leaf native," I ordered.

The clones scattered and became purple flashes around the Hyuga compound.

"I'm sure you've heard stories of that Jutsu." I taunt the man as he obviously recognized the jutsu that all cloud ninjas fear.

I press against the earth, and it shatters beneath my pressure. The man blocks my strike, but I expected no less of a Jonin. My body quickly shifts, and a strong kick strikes a chakra point in his leg. He flattered. I dropped my Kunai and lined him up.

Two chakra-formed lions shroud my hands, and before the shinobi could retreat, I launched forward two palms. Then four, eight, sixteen, thirty-two, finally, sixty-four palms. The last aimed intentionally at his head, causing it to explode.

Looking around, the clan had seen better days. But now that the enemy is extinguished, we can clean up.

"Hinata!" My father called out.

"Hai!" I reply.

"You and your sister will handle the clan. Your grandfather and I have to take care of a few snakes in our house."

The two old men looked at each other, then vanished along with five more Hyuga. I look at Hanabi and then at the struggling clan. Responsibility isn't really my thing, but the better Hanabi does, the less likely I'll be reconsidered despite my achievements.

"Hanabi," I say.

She looks up at me, and I ask, " Your clan is hurt. What should we do to handle this?"

"W-we heal the wounded and secure the compound," she says.

"Close." I tell her, "We secure the compound, clear the dead, then start the healing. The fight isn't over, and anyone coming to this clan is looking for our Byakugan. Clearing the dead helps us account for our people and verify if the Byakugan is safe. That's our highest priority. Ino ad Tenten can triage the patients, and I'll grab a few others to start the aid."

"What about the village?" she asks.

"What about it? We were a clan before we were a village. We became a village to assure the survival of our clan. If the village becomes too taxing to protect, the clan must choose between itself and the village. A good leader will choose the clan."

Hanabi looked around then gave me a nod before she began issuing orders. As the compound is kicked into gear, I call for Ko, my silent protector. I order him to bring every clan member out to help.

"What matters is our health and securing the perimeter. Clear our street outside of the compound to give us some breathing room." I tell him.

After a while of moving corpses and healing the injured, Ko returns and tells me of the clan is empty and all Hyuga are busy at work. I then ask, "And the vault?"

"Unsecure, Lady Hinata," he replies.

"Good, go help my father and take a team with you," I order.

After he vanished, I wiped the blood from my hands and slipped away from the commotion. Stepping into the main household. It was quiet and empty, as Ko said. Walking through the halls, I arrive at a door only seen with the Byakugan.

On the door were nine circles within a square, all with one large circle. The key to the room was simple, Hyuga chakra. The door opened to reveal a room four meters by four meters. In the center of the room was a scroll. I promptly stole it as I wondered how long it would take them to know it was missing.

What's so important about this scroll? Well, it contains the history of the Hyuga clan. The Uchiha have their stone tablet, and the Hyuga have their scroll. Though this scroll comes from the moon and holds everything afterward, or so I think.

The Hyuga have this lore that the moon goddess favored the Hyuga so much that she plucked out an eye and gave it to the clan patriarch. And from that day on, Hyuga has had that Byakugan. Now the premise is right, but I think a lot of details are missing. So I decided to study clan History in-depth, which entailed speaking to my soju drinking grandfather and telling me of the Otsu Scroll.

I asked him why it was called Otsu. He told me that the scroll case is worn, and only Otsu could be made out. He then told me that it hasn't been open in centuries since the death of the last Gentle Fist Grandmaster during the warring periods.

Putting the Otsu scroll with, Tobirama's heart, Hashirama's body, and the Scroll of sealing, I then find Ino and Tenten.

"Hey," I call out.

"Where have you been?" Ino asked.

"Around, have either of you seen Hanabi?" I asked.

"She's been running around being little clan leader." Said Ino, "She's actually doing a really good job."

"I bet she is. It's her birthright, more so than mine. Come on, let's pratol the village."

Ino and Tenten share a look. We then jet from the Hyuga compound and run the building tops looking for any enemy shinobi.

"Tenten, 4 meters east," I say.

Tenten leaps into the air, and her Kyogetsu shogei whips out like a scorpion tail. The dagger at the end of the chain ripped through the neck of a sand ninja humping a young girl. Tenten then yanked, and the sand Shinobi's body flew like a kite with a broken string.

"Ino, two, five meters north."

Ino peeled off, set up, and launched a mind disturbance jutsu the caused the two shinobi to fight each other to the death. When the ladies rejoined me, we were entering the hot zone.

"Stay alert and don't hesitate to kill."

Ino and Tenten gave me a look, and I was a bit shocked.

"First battles are the hardest. There is no sneaking. Only open war. It's a whole other way of life." I say, "Well, stay back and watch. Join if you're ready."

I immediately leap from the building as a Nin-kin was about to get rocked by torrents of wind.

"Rotation." When the attack was deflected, I fired an air palm and put the kunoichi down.

Now on the battlefield surrounded by the enemy, I take a gentle fist stance and lock on to everything within the Eight Trigrams. While trying to recreate Hinata's protecting eight trigrams sixty-four palms, I manage to concoct something new.

"Eight trigrams: 640 Air Shots."

I spin into the first two palm strikes of the sixty-four palms. Ten air shots from each of my fingers fire off and take down the first target six meters away. After the first ten shots, I was already rebooting and spinning into the next twenty shots.

I continued the technique as I worked out the kinks. It was the first time I had ever used the technique in battle. I figured a battlefield with many allies would be the best place to do it. Faster, more chakra, denser chakra, finger placements were the corrections that rang through my head as I tried to temper my technique.

Finally, at six hundred and forty air shots, I blew the perfect five holes through the chest of a sand kunoichi who erupted from the ground in an attempt to sneak attack Hana Inuzuka, Kiba's older sister. She looked at me with wide eyes and then at the dead bitch with holes in her tits. Suddenly, Hana's mother, Tsume, appeared and clobbered her.

"You going to let the little Genin save your Nin-kin and then save your life?! Tighten up, Hana, or you'll die out here!" Tsume roared, and Hana hung her head briefly before shaking it off.

Tsume looked around at all of the dead enemies in the area then looked at me with scrutinizing eyes. Being that our area was cleared, she walked toward me and said, "That's not a Hyuga jutsu I've ever seen."

"I made it myself. I like to modify a lot of the Hyuga techniques. It urks my father but what are daughters for? At the end of the day, I'm his princess, whether he admits it or not." I reply with a prideful smirk, and Tsume begins laughing.

"Good! Good!" Tsume bellowed, "I see why that little Runt likes you. Most of the Inuzuka Clan Leaders were women. Contrary to popular belief, the females are the real alphas. It's genetic. What the men exuded is our feral nature. To anyone not like us, that means Alpha, beastly man. But to us, it just a loud barking runt. But you dear, you have power because your father is powerful."

"And my father fights for me," I interject, and Tsume laughs some more as she agrees.

"Wise beyond her years. Eh, Hana?!" Tsume looked over her shoulder, and we both noticed Hana turn her head away. Stubborn bitch. I'll break her sooner or later. She thinks that she's insulting but it only turns me on and gets me itching for a fight.
