Chapter 39 - A New Club

Later after that delicious meal and paying for it, Masayuki, Tohru, and Ayame went back to Shigure's house, where Yuki was waiting for them.

Once Tohru and Masayuki entered the house with Ayame being a snake in Tohru's clothes, Yuki ran to them and asked if they are okay.

"I'm fine, Yuki-kun," Tohru meekly responded back.

"Nothing out of the ordinary had happened, Yuki-senpai," Masayuki reassured.

To that Yuki sighed in relief.

Then, after Tohru had said to Yuki concerning his brotherly relationship with Ayame, Ayame came out of Tohru's clothes and looked at Yuki with a wink.

As Yuki became uneased by it then, Tohru and Masayuki tried to explain what had happened along the way frantically.

But Yuki snapped and said to Ayame that he was no brother to him.

That night, Masayuki and Emiko decided to stay there overnight.

The next morning, Tohru and Masayuki are asleep, except that Masayuki slept on a futon with an open journal notebook on his face and a pen in his right hand, indicating that he had been writing a journal entry when he fell asleep.

Then, Kyo shouted at Ayame for sleeping in his room, causing Masayuki and Tohru to wake up simultaneously.

Not long after, at the breakfast table, Ayame explained to everyone that Yuki locked his door to his bedroom.

Kyo responded by saying that Shigure had a room of his own.

Tohru and Masayuki watches this with mild nervousness.

Later at school, Momiji was surprised to hear that Ayame meet up with Tohru. Masayuki, Emiko, and Handa are on the stairs with Hatsuharu.

Then, after Yuki passes by, Hatsuharu revealed to them that Ayame owns a shop that sells costumes. Tohru, Masayuki, and Emiko are surprised to hear that. Handa, on the other hand, already knows this for a long time. In fact, he was inspired by Ayame to start a business of his own.

Shortly thereafter, while walking back to class, Masayuki, Emiko, and Handa meet up with some of their classmates, who asked Masayuki to teach them proper English.

"Really?" Masayuki asked back while holding his English dictionary.

"Yes, we are falling behind," one of his classmates replied back desperately.

"I know! Let's form a club of our own," another suggested in response.

"A club?"

"Yes, and that'll be an English club, where students can learn proper English and engage in conversations in English."

To that Emiko responded, "Are you sure about that, big brother?"

Scratching the back of his head for a few times, Masayuki replied back, "Sure, if we have the permission from our teacher to have a room of our own."

"Don't worry, we got this," one of his classmates replied back in assurance, before going off to the teachers' room to obtain permission to use one of the empty rooms for their new, proposed club.

Watching this, Masayuki said to Emiko and Handa, "Well, I guess I became more useful and helpful to them, not just an introverted loner."

"Yeah, you're right, Masayuki-kun," Handa agreed with him.

Later after class, Masayuki, Emiko, Handa, and Souya went to a classroom where most of their classmates and Tohru's classmates are waiting for them, especially Masayuki himself. Arriving there, Masayuki slides the door open while greeting, "Good afternoon, everyone."

"Good afternoon, Masayuki-sensei," one of his classmates greeted back.

"I can't believe this," Masayuki responded back. "Do I have to lead a club?"

"You don't like it?" one of the female students asked back.

"No! It's not like that. It's just…a bit hard for me to lead and manage a club."

"Oh, that's okay," another of his classmates replied back in assurance. "We'll help out."

"That'll be great," Masayuki replied back as his stress disappears and regained his self-confidence back. Then to the other students, "Alright, everyone, are you ready for more vocabulary in English?"

As the students said yes in response, Emiko, Handa, and Souya sat down on the remaining chairs, and Souya thought, "Wow, he is very proficient in English."

Not long after, Masayuki began teaching English vocabulary, including ways to pronounce them, to his classmates and other students from different classes. He used and employed his knowledge he gained from his own experience. As he kept on teaching his lectures, Kyo and Yuki watches this from the corridor through the door window.

"Masayuki-kun is a good English teacher," Kyo said to Yuki.

"Yeah, you're right," Yuki agreed with him.
