[Hello, ladies. I got 6 mutant kids with me on the 11th floor. I started from the bottom so I skipped the 9th and 10th. How are you all looking?] Jack decided to do a progress report. Although no news was usually good news, it was better to be safe than sorry
[I went ahead of Rogue and have made it to the 4th floor. No one we need to secure has been located and no important data seems to be on these floors. This seems more like the personal dormitory and training floors.]
[We are currently on the 7th and 8th floor. The 5th and 6th as well as the 7tyh and 8th seemed to have been combined in giant factory floors. They seem to be working on models of sentinels that I have never seen before. These are more advanced than even what Trask Industries has been making.] Wanda said over her comms
'What? This place makes no sense. Mutant cloning, mutate mutants, and now advanced sentinels? This can't just be simple a simple mutant hating group or government agency that has gone rogue. Something is VERY wrong here.'
Even with his upgraded mental processing ability, Jack still couldn't put together the pieces of the puzzle. He had so many but it seemed like a few key pieces were still missing.
[Callisto and Scarlet Witch, abandon your floors and come clear the 9th. I will head up and clear the 10th. We need to make sure no mutant gets taken out of here under our noses.
Revanche and Rogue, fall back to the first floor and secure the exit. I already called in SHIELD so they should be here soon to handle the rest. We've already softened these guys up enough for them.]
[Got it!] all of them replied
Jack let put his card back into one of his pockets before turning toward the girls.
"Let's get moving. My teammates are handling most of the floors above us but I still need to check the next floor for any more mutants. You guys wanna come with me or wait until I come back for you?"
{There are no other mutants here. There were only 8 'successful' mutant-based projects here. The 6 of us, Predator X, and Fantomex. The other experiments were either unable to get past the initial phase or were deemed failures and terminated} the 5 explained to Jack
Hearing that all the other mutants they had been experimenting on were already dead, a new wave of fury washed over Jack's mind. Jack informed the others and had Callisto and Wanda return to the first floor to stand guard with the others.
"Then let's go!"
Jack had all the girls stand close before he reached around and gave them a hug. He then caused the group to float before flying through the floors above them until they reached the first floor. Along the way, Jack picked up Callisto and Wanda so they wouldn't have to deal with the other guards along the way.
As they reached the first floor, Jack let the girls and women go.
"You guys head up to the factory. I can hold them back by myself."
"Sure you don't need no help, darling?"
"Hmm. I'm just gonna freeze the floors and make a few obstacles for them."
Rogue nodded before taking lead and bringing the others to the elevator they hadn't found when they first entered. The girls were surrounded by the women in order to ensure that they were safe.
Once the elevator closed, Jack turned around as his entire aura changed. No longer was he giving off the feeling of a soft snow storm but instead was a raging blizzard.
'You make the children, train them, torture them, and then you just dispose of them when they don't meet your expectations. You all are lucky that I can't kill you. But I will surely make you suffer.'
Jack's power was different than most cryomancers. It was better to say that he used two powers at once. The first was that he created cursed, cold energy that he could be frozen in an instant. If not frozen it could be used as pure energy that could be shaped as he pleased. The energy also had a corrosive effect.
The second part of his second power was freezing. He could lower the temperature of pretty much anything but it worked best with the cold energy he produced which could be frozen in an instant. This made him different from other cryomancers or ice manipulators because he couldn't control any ice he saw but only ice created from his cold energy.
Jack kneeled and placed both of his hands on the ground before unleashing a wave of cold energy along the floor before freezing it over. There were over 3 inches of ice.
Once he was done, Jack stood up and began walking through the corridors to see his handiwork. Jack walked through the halls as he exuded a cold aura all around him.
While he was going through the halls, he saw countless guards struggling. Their feet were frozen in the ice that was colder than normal. When he walked by, their bodies got so cold that they could barely struggle.
'Heh. Even if SHIELD gets here in the next minute, you all will surely lose your feet from frostbite. Take this as a small punishment compared to what you did to these kids.'
Jack turned around and walked back towards the elevator. When he arrived, he saw that there were already SHIELD agents present with some of them aiming their guns at Jack.
"Good. You deal with this trash."
The agents nodded and moved aside but when Jack was about to reach the elevator, one agent stood in front of him and held out his hand.
"Director Fury said for us to collect the data from you. Please hand it over," the officer said
'Tsk! You think I'm going to just let this information on how to clone mutants properly or create mutant-hunting animals be released so easily? Fury will get the data that I want him to get and nothing else,' Jack thought to himself while looking at the guard in front of him
Jack didn't say a word but exuded a cold aura that made even those veteran agents nervous. After having a stand-off for a few seconds, the agent backed down and got out of Jack's way.
